My t3333 rom is 21907, and if i press the end key, it can not blank the screen.

never heard of this before ... theres no charging animation at all ..

Seems you have installed any third party software like s2u2 which animates on plugging in the charger.

Mirror Inverted Display on my HTC Touch

Hi friends..
I have a very strange problem which cropped up yesterday night, we guys had gone for a movie and my phone was in my pocket only, then coming back it started to rain and i still didn't take it out, but after i took it out in room i saw suddenly the screen going blank and so many white and blue lines started coming and it started flickering very badly! finally the display got mirror inverted! it still responds to touches at the right places but the display which i get is upside down and mirrored so can't read a thing!
i think some how a water droplet had gone inside and did something, i took out the battery and dried it under the fan too but still no change, now when i keep it on stand by and resume by short pressing power button for a second the proper screen comes and then it inverts again! please help me out if you've encountered such situation before..
i know we can turn the display upside down but this one is mirrored too, and it all happened after the screen flicker..
hav tried hard resetting ur mobile
Some Sony Ericsson mobiles had a similar problem, only way to repair it was display replacement.
How to Hard Reset?
hi friends, i read on another forums too that hardresetting is one way, so i turned the phone off
removed the battery for 5-10 seconds
replaced the battery
pressed the green and red buttons which are on the left and right of d pad
together i pressed the reset button which is to right of the usb socket,
and nothing happened! i kept pressing it for 10 seconds, and no screen popped up, when i removed the buttons it just restarted, without any screen showing that a hard reset has been desired and no change had happened..
Am i hard resetting it the right way?
ur mobile shouldnt be off while doing the above steps. After doing tat ur mobile will restart showing an warning press the action key and continue.

Device must be off. Hold red button, green button and reset. If it doesn't work, press Power. After a while white letters on black screen should appear, then press d-pad and wait about 5 minutes. You'll see a new message for a moment and Windows Mobile will start.
No change after hard reset
hi friends, i got a video on youtube demonstrating me how to do a hard reset, i did it and got the warning message too and it got reset, restoring the original settings. Still the screen remains it's own inverted self!
Any suggestions what can i do next? what can actually the problem be?
i'm taking it for service centre tomorrow. Wish me luck any ways

Have you reset it by taking the battery out or pressing the little red button under the battery cover?

Ok, the red button on mine is next to the SD card slot.
I'm guessing you've taken the battery out if you've said theres no button under the battery?

HTC HD Mini does not Power On

Hi to all:
I power-off my HD Mini to replace my simcard. After putting in the simcard, the battery and the cover, I press the power button. After a while, the HTC logo is displayed on the screen, then after maybe 2 seconds, the screen goes blank. I waited and waited nothing happens. I pressed the power button again and HTC logo reappeared on the screen, then screen goes blank again.
I also did hard reset by pressing the volume up and down button and the power button simultaneously but after the HD Mini restated, the problem still exists.
Is somebody out there experienced the same problem and have the solution? Thanks a lot.
u take out battery again waiting around 1 or 2 minute and put it back , turn on your phone . If same problem maybe your HTC damage.

[Q] Touchscreen not working on lock and reset screens

In the last couple of weeks, when the pattern lock screen is displayed, it intermittently doesn't accept touch input. If I power off and on the screen quickly, it then accepts touch input fine.
Similarly, if I press and hold the power button (with the phone on), it brings up a "Phone Options" screen, with options for Silent, Airplane, Profile, Reboot and Power Off. Touch input does not work at all on this screen. I'm working around this by using the Quick Boot app.
Otherwise, touch input works fine, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.
I've seen something similar when Google Nav gets in front of the lock screen. Touch doesn't work until I power off and on the screen, and enter the lock pattern. Could something invisible be getting in front of the lock and power screens?
Using Pongster's HyperDroid-GBX-v12 (2.3.3).
Hey there,
Maybe the ROM h doesnt function properly on your device. Try shifting to another rom. All are equally amazing. If you do not want to shift, try running task29 and start the process all over again

Have you read the thread about the unresponsive touchscreen, where pressing hard on the end call button fixes the screen touch? I assume your problem is in essence the same; once you press it hard enough to actually unlock the screen the touch works fine.

That probably is what the problem is. Btw to everyone, I haven't noticed a difference in pressing it really hard, I noticed that pressing it a lot of times does the trick

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think it's the ROM, been using GBX-v12 since it was released, and previous versions before that.
The symptoms do seem similar to the other thread, but others report it on many screens. I only get it on the lock and reset/power screen. Otherwise, it works fine. However, those screen are brought up after pressing the power key ...
I suppose if it is hardware, then it's likely that cable issue. If it's software, then a reset should clear it, so I might try an ICS ROM from scratch first.

I guess i shoulda commented that how my digitizer began acting, it only did it while in the power menu but after a couple days it started doing it while just hitting the power button to put it to sleep, so i remapped my green phone key to be the power button

Thanks for the tip. You're right about the symptoms getting worse, it now occasionally stops working on other screen
I'm using any button but power to turn on the phone. To turn it off I've added "Go to sleep" to the notification widget bar, which I assume is the same as pressing power??
Not quite as user friendly and sometimes I forget not to use power off, but it'll do for now!

Yes that will work! I used it cause I got lazy and didn't feel like changing the key file but it's much easier to use the green call key instead of the notification power widget

Try this:
Lock the screen normally, screen turns off.
To turn it on again by pressing any other screen buttons other than the power button.
I found that if I do it this way, the screen runs normal.

touch screen not working properly

the touch screen is not working well, when i press the red button to turn off the device the "slide down to power off" appears on screen and the touch screen stops working even on android roms i have the same issue, so i press again de red button and the touch screen works normally.
the only way to turn the device off is by taking the battery or wait until it drains completely
any thoughts?
thanks
Bad news!

Your touchscreen/digitizer is slowly (but surely) dying, unfortunately...
