So I downloaded the Evolution-Froyo Rom with RevA update, and didn't setup the pattern lock. When turning on the phone, the slide to unlock was there. But after I setup the pattern lock, the slide to unlock was no longer there, it was just the pattern lock.
Finally it's working. Way to go Froyo!!

Hey everybody.
I'm currently running 2.1 on my Spica and recently have run into an issue. The phone won't lock. When I unlock the phone, I am not prompted for an unlock pattern, despite having set one. I've uninstalled LauncherPro and tried toggled Pattern unlock on and off with no success.
I'm all out of ideas and really baffled.
I'm having the same problem with mine.
Have you found a way to fix it yet?

Your ROM may have turned off your lockscreen, i had this problem a while ago, if you have extended power controls, you can turn it back on, if not, then i have no idea.
hope this helps.

Phone was in swipe to unlock mode.
Decided to setup FoxFi (have paid version)
When I entered foxfi I chose wifi tether
the phone went to another screen something to do with vpn and it said I have to have a password or number lock just once to set this up
so I went back and put in a 4 number lock and went back and fully set up foxfi and enabled the wifi and it seemed to work
I then quit everything and went back to remove the 4 digit lock and put the swipe to unlock back
but now I can't only 2 choices number lock or password.
Anyone know what this is all about and can I go back to swipe to unlock again?
TIA

there's several posts on this - read this thread - 4th post down
I just got the Lollipop update yesterday via OTA (UK unlocked 910F, not rooted) and I'm having issues with Smart Unlock.
I started by removing my corporate Exchange account from the phone and clearing the trusted certificate store to remove the administrative controls (I've switched to using Nine instead). I enabled Smart Unlock it via the Trusted Agents settings and linked it to my watch but rather than actually unlocking the device when the watch is connected via Bluetooth it just adds an extra swipe to unlock screen before requesting a secure unlock anyway. I've tried it with both PIN and fingerprint security enabled with the same result. Has anyone else been able to get this working with the Note 4?
When I got the lollipop update I factory reset the phone before installing it.
I am having no issues with NFC unlock and location unlock, I just wish they had added WiFi unlock as I don't want to leave GPS turned on when I'm at home. But I am having some issues with Bluetooth unlock with my headset.
The NFC unlock just unlocks the device straight to home screen or the last used app, location unlock removes my fingerprint unlock and makes it swipe to unlock and the Bluetooth one 50% of the time goes to swipe unlock or stays fingerprint unlock.
You don't need to pull the "lock" icon, just swipe anywhere on the screen when you have a bluetooth device connected. The lock icon is to relock the device not unlock it, it's pretty confusing when I you first see it.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was doing. I'm used to using Smart Unlock on the Nexus 6 and I tend to swipe from the padlock to unlock that device (although it's not actually a widget that can be dragged on stock Lollipop, it's just habit).
Just adding a thanks, this was giving me so much grief.
Hi everyone,
I am having an issue with my S7 Edge because of the unlock pattern.
Normally, I always use my fingerprints for phone unlock, but as you know, additional to that you always need to input some pattern lock also for security reasons.
The problem now is that I forgot the pattern, I can still unlock my phone via fingerprint, but I can not change the lockscreen settings because it asks me for the pattern. I inputted it already 2 times wrong, first time I had to wait 5 minutes, second time 10 minutes in order to be able to unlock at all.
Now I am afraid to try anymore because it will lock my phone for longer....
Is there a way of disabling the pattern in a situation like this? (without having to do a factory reset via recovery)
P.S. It is a rooted phone
