MLIGN 3.2b is really fast and pretty stable in my opinion.
Hero ROM= MLIGN 3.2B but you need to flash twisted deport 1.0 right after flashing the ROM. no wiping in between. You can find the twisted deport in the MLIGN 3.3 thread.
Eclair ROM = KingKlick's latest 2.1 ROM or OpenEclair's latest 2.1 ROM. Very fast and stable and they both got a 99% working nexus launcher (all it is missing is the 3D roll effect) but they both have all the problems of an eclair ROM for the MT3G/g1. no camcorder or video playback since the drivers aren't released.
What is currently the best rom for the MyTouch 3G? I'm currently on CyanogenMod 5.07 Test 3....

I've been out of touch with custom rom going on's for a while - at the moment I'm running MoDaCo's 2.9 on the 1.5 firmware. Am I right in thinking there are now custom roms I could flash to my Hero that will also update the firmware? What are the particulary good ones at the moment (I haven't seen a MoDaCo Rom for ages - I think 3.2 was the last one?)
Sorry for being such a pain, there just seems to be MOUNTAINS to catch up on.

Best 1.5 ROM is SenseHERO 1.6.
there is a new modaco rom, based on the latest 2.1 and it's great. fast and stable.
You have cronos droid which is based on the official 2.1 release (cronos 1.7) and you have villainrom which is also based on the official release (villainrom 10).
Both are rock solid choices.

i want the HTC Official 2.1 eclair rom for wildfire... because when 2.2 froyo release i want to update my wildfire via software update by htc...

isnt it your wildfire is already official 2.1 eclair when you bought it?.. unless you already flashed to a custom ROM, and i hope before you flash to a custom ROM, you made a backup of your original ROM?..

If you bought the unit from the Philippines, it should have 2.1 update-1. If its not in the releases in the site, you should just get the latest instead.

hi guys... any hints on when the official Froyo update for our Wildfire will be coming out?
I'm quite disappointed with the device as I have compared it with the Galaxy 5. The Galaxy 5 performs better and is able to run games without lags.
I wonder if the update will improve the performance of the Wildfire.
HI! I'm wondering if there's any way to downgrade Motorola Defy to its stock 2.1 eclair? Upgraded to Froyo and I'm a bit disappointed. Fellow Filipino here.
