I've used advancedconfig to link EndKey (found in windows directory) to link to the left soft key. So one click, and it locks instantly.
Copy App *.exe do you want to select EndKey, past in SD and change name to Endkey.exe, copy overwrite the windows folder.

Hi Guys,
Need a little help.
I flashed my Diamond, and I'm just restoring my software and I can't remember how I done it before but I had PS shutxp set-up and mapped to the power button when held down.
I tried searching but I can't find the thread that I used to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated =)
Thanks,
Steve.

1. Save and zip the file called “PowerOffWarning.exe” from the windows directory
2. Go to the directory that has your psshutxp executable in it and rename the psshutxp.exe to PowerOffWarning.exe.
3. Zip the new “PowerOffWarning.exe” and skin files into a zip file.
4. Execute the zip file and overwrite the “PowerOffWarning.exe” file in the windows directory.
5. Press and hold your power button and enjoy your new shutdown/reset/screen off options.
Do it on your own risk, j havent test it, and it come from Mogu's forum..
Thanks Guys!
Ever so grateful for your quick response!

Hi - I'm using this cab in lieu of the normal psShutXP.cab and am pleased to see that this actually powers the device off properly as opposed to sleeping.
Being very picky on the cosmetics (!), I noticed the latest psShutXP.cab fades down the background when the window launches - as per desktop XP/Vista etc - yet this version here doesn't. Perhaps an edit of an older version?
I'll take functionality over cosmetics any day.. however both would be just perfect!!
Any ideas guys?

I installed this cab file called poweroff-diamond.cab from andrewloh, which is basically ShutXP, but once it's installed, it automatically mapped to the long-press power button.
just install the standard psshutxp and use advanced config tool to map it to long press power key
hi guys
how can I mapping on/off button with advanced config?
Here is onother that works with Power Button
ShutXP in the Start Menu
Is there any possibility or option to have this programme (shutxp) in the start menu, instead of pressing long the power button, for powering off the diamond?

You can accomplish that by installing one of the official cab files for psShutXP that I have attached below.
And of course, you can simply go to Settings > Personal > Menu to add it to your list of frequent applications in the start menu.
NOTE: This version doesn't include a custom skin, it uses the default WinXP skin.

Thank you for your reply, cerebralgenius.
The point is that I've already looked to the settings you mention but I don't have map this programme for selecting it. I have it installed together with a ROM pack so I can not select it to view it on the start menu.
I will try the new cab you posted.
Thanks
Is this remotely possible, I find that HTC finally got it right with the All People part of the People Tab.
I really have no use for the tab itself but just go their to use the all people which has the contact/favs/call history simular to iContact so what I would like to do is use GreenButton to hook All People to the Green Send Key.
I would like this "all people" to link to the left soft key on the homescreen. I know how to remap the key, by changing HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila\HomeLSKPath. But I don't know what to put there... Does anybody know the original command for the "all people"-screen???
Try creating a shortcut with
"\Windows\ManilaShortcut.exe" people
Then you can set it to a button. Works for me, hope it helps.
Or this:
"Manila://people/browserlayer/peopleAll.page"
Create link in Start Menu
Hi iggy
You need to create a .lnk file shortcut in the Start menu folder and then use the buttons setting to map it to the long press green button. A .lnk is just a .txt file with the extension renamed to .lnk.
The start menu folder is:
\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\
Copy this command into a text file:
44#"\Windows\Manila.exe" --switchtopage Manila://people/browserlayer/peopleAll.page
Rename the extension to .lnk and copy into the start menu folder.
Cheers
andrew-in-woking
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila:HomeLSKPath->"\Windows\manila.exe" --switchtopage Manila://people\browserlayer\?.page
Don't forget the quotation marks...it's really important
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila:HomeLSKText->Name it, what ever U want
Restart Manila...be happy!
Works fine for me...
Works on HD2

Hi,
How can I change the "Click" setting...? I want to double click a file to be executed and not from the first click. I'm unable to select for example a MP3 file to copy/paste it etc... because it will start playing or if a cab file, it will run.
Any idea how to chnage this...?

you can tap and hold for 2sec and all the options will pop up.
You can also try a different file explorer like Resco which lets you select files very easily.

Thank you Svegetto...! It works for me.
well i have a small problem with my iGO 8.3.4.117940 that i couldn't solve...
i downloaded it, put it inside my HD2 and it is running fine when i press the iGO.exe button in the explorer.
how can i make a shortcut for it to the quick launch buttons?
i tried to look for it in the programs menu but i didn't find it.
maybe the problem is because i didn't installed it? (it didn't asked me to install the program, just to launch it...)
so....
maybe someone has an idea?
Long press the igo.exe and select copy on the context menu. Navigate to wherever you want to place the shortcut (\device\windows\start menu\programs\<whatever>), menu > edit > paste shortcut.
Job done.
SR
or you can use Total commander to create a shortcut which will do the same really
thanks a lot
it is working.

Tap to open the folder, then long-press on its name and a window opens so you can rename it.
I just tried that on my tab and it doesn't work. The folder is on the home screen
Any other way?

Like he said, 2 step process:
On the home screen tap the folder to open it
Long press on the header of the open folder (it will turn orange to show that you tapped it, don't release and after a half second of holding it will open the rename dialog)
Then tap on the field labeled "Folder name" and type to "remane" the folder.
