[Q] CM7-18: No Market / Contact

Hi
I updated from CM7-17 to CM7-18. Now Market doesn't start and all Contacts are gone. I installed gapps-gb-20110613-signed.zip from recovery menu, but no luck.
I have the feeling that somehow my gmail login data got lost. Also after update I got a screen to log in to the SIM Network. Never saw this before.
Do I have to reset to factory defaults ? Hope not. Does not want to loose again all my games and stuff.
Thanks and best regards

Update: Later i realised after updating boot.img to fxp018 too, that I have no set/select key. All would act as "back" buttons.
So I flashed boot.img from fxp017 and then also installed the updated.zip from fxp017. I then needed to enter my Gmail credentials, and now everything seems normal again.I guess there are some major issues in fxp018.

Think it worked... but have one question regarding missing contacts

After 2 days and near-unbearable annoyance, I was able to root the phone just using Visionary, Root.sh, and the cyanogen update guide (for Rooting phone)---and without a USB cable -- only using ADBwireless, once I had temp root.
One issue though.... Since I did a hard reset perhaps 10 times, following each hard reset I had to login to gmail as if I was setting up my phone. One option this process asks you is to allow google to backup your data. I always left it checked.... and didn't think much of it.
However, now that I am rooted again.... and just flashed CM 7.1 (RC1), I notice that I have about 7 out of 80 or so contacts....
The only thing I can imagine that happened is that everytime I reset the phone and signed in with my gmail address, it backed up the contacts on the phone, and for whatever reason, only those 7 made it to backup.
What is confusing though is that I had wiped the data cache several times in the past, and every time I re-signed into gmail to start setup on the phone, all my contacts were intact.
Also, the nandroid backups I thought I had.... CWR -- once it boots into recovery says there are "missing files" where my backups once were. I don't mind this so much as I am running CM7.1 and can download all my apps, etc.... But I thought those backups might contain my contacts...
Anyone have an idea where I might be able to restore those contacts... My sd card is the same one as I had before this whole mess started.... I would think titanium backup or something would have these contacts.. I can't really even think about losing 60+ contacts.
Nevermind. Its all good.

How do I format?

Well, i'm having a huge issue going on the past few days. I wish to start a new account on a game called Knights & Dragons and the developers are of no help at all [it's a GREE game]. Somehow the app keeps loading up my old account and I cant get it to stop. I've tried the following:
Factory reset
Flashing new ROMs and GApps [4.3 and 4.4 ROMs]
Change ID in Titanium Backup
Spoof all info with XPrivacy
Made a new google account completely after all of the above
Formatted and erased completely my SD card through CWM.
Used PDroid to block/spoof info.
Nothing seems working. When I open the app it'll show the "complete tutorial and get so and so" above the loading bar which is fine and dandy but then it goes to update the game and boom. Old account loaded even with the Google Play ID and all Phone infor not only changed but being randomized as well.
On my Note 10.1 all I had to do was flash a new ROM and GApps and it made a new account without me even intending to do it.
I'm so lost so my last ditch resort here is to completely wipe EVERYTHING possible and then get my ROM back up and running, reroot and all that jazz. My question is how do I go about doing so without completely bricking my device? I need to get this new fresh start going here and I don't care if I lose everything as I backed up all stuff already to my laptop.
Any ideas?

Lenovo Yoga Tab YT3-850F - Stuck in Lenovo Boot Screen

The tablet was reset by someone who should not have done it. When it came back, we couldn't get passed the google account screen. I figure it must be linked to the email account that my GF set up for her daughter. She no longer has access to that email nor does she remember what it was. I went ahead and did a factory reset from the bootloader (I think that's what its call) and cleared cache, now the system is stuck in the Lenovo Boot Screen and it won't go beyond that.
Any suggestion? I thought about rooting it and maybe getting in that way but I read that I must enable debugging mode and in order to do that I have to be in Android to activate it. Any suggestions?
1 more thing, I installed through the update in the bootloader what I thought was an OTA, I believe I made the situation worse as now it won't mount anything I can't even clear cache. There a way to install a OTA through my PC?
