The best way is to put the fruit-thing on the ground, start up your bulldozer, point your bulldozer at the fruit-thing, and run it over.

Not sure that is the "best" way though.

Dynamite also works well....
Or blenders. You should check youtube for that - search for "iphone blender".
I have an iPhone and now that I bought a G1 for my neighbor and an EVO for me I joined this forum. If you want info on an iPhone I suggest you join an iPhone forum and they'll help you out.
If i remember correctly, last time i exported my contacts to outlook. then from itunes i synced to iphone...
google also has built in sync that will move your contacts between the 2 phones, assuming you have a google account. Don't know about the actual SMS messages, not sure why you'd want to save..... i love you baby, no i love you baby, no i love you baby.....
I wrote a great piece (if I may say so myself) on how to sync and do backups between Outlook 2007 with the iPhone. I can't give a link here to another forum so send me a PM and I'll give you the link.
BTW, you can't move the SMS with iTunes.

Why the hell would you want an iphone? The new one does the same thing as a jailbroken 3g.. Plus Ios4 is hellaaaaaa boring! Go for a nexus one trust me...I went through 3 iPhones ina month and ended up crawling right back to android....

I agree with PapaMopps!!! lol...but there are customizations you can use to make it look like the iphone though.....
You could install a lite rom, then install spb mobile, and just browse through all the themes and install one. THere are a ton of other ways to get it to look like the iphone....just do a search on iphone themes.
Here is one...

Why in the world would anyone want to buy an iphone? lol.
No one would want to buy an iphone if they have an htc XD
The iphone's interface isn't great but it's smoooooth, which is something that, unfortunately, Windows Mobile can't touch... So using an iphone like interface in a Windows Mobile phone kills the two great things that I like about the two types of phones: Smoothness (iphone) and functionability (windows mobile).

What you need to do is Sync your 'stuff' with Google which sync with N1. Have a look here:

yep, i did exactly what the above poster did when i received my phone and magically i got all my contacts to transfer to my n1. so effortless!
coming from symbian to android 2.1 is HEAVEN.
all these complaints people have about this phone cannot phase me. i'm still satisfied and happy with the device, even with its imperfections.
Is there anything for messages?
What about this?
Guys has anyone used the Sprite Migrate app to send your Nokia N series contacts to the nexus one?
is there a way to get BBM to work on HD2 ?
there is a thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=482411
but it seems to be unable to get BB Pin ... any ideas anyone ?
I'd really like to know too.
I think windows need to come out with some kind of equivalent. Even the iphone has some kind of app that does that.
Either that or improve the windows live messenger.
hey,
ive heard that bb pins are unique to the actual blackberry handset and cannot be emulated on other devices.
a bit of a bummmer cos that would be awesome!
oh well, hopefully as u say windoes comes up with summink

That is true, as well as the BBM server is a closed system, no access from the outside (off blackberry.net) , which is why people on BB's loose internet if BB is down and the service provider is still up, because everything goes through BB ..
BTW this has been talked about over and over, and this thread was 5 months old to begin with ....

Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
So there is news that RIM may open their Blackberry messaging service to other platforms, I think (from what I have read) this only includes Android and iOS. Take a read: http :// crackberry. com/ blackberry-messenger-coming-android-and-ios
The only way for BBM to work on another OS would be if RIM opened up their PIN service.
Just delete the obvious spaces in the URL, I don't have enough posts to add a link yet... I am new to WM!
I did a quick search, maybe i didnt dig deep enough
but is there a way or is there anyone who has ported the apple os

Why would we want to cripple our device with being forced to sync with iTunes or accept only being able to bluetooth another iphone?
1. Apple would sue the hell out of XDAdevelopers.
2. If you want the iphone OS get an iphone
3. I doubt the iphone OS would even accept foreign phone drivers.
It wont happen. Drivers are one big issue in the way of it, also Apple is too closed, paranoid and litigious to let it ever happen.

No it's not the same thing.
Put WinMobile on an iphone is an attempt to make that device useful.
Installing the apple os in a HD2 is just the best way to have this smartphone locked, less interesting, ugly and useless
go to themes and apps, search for win 95.
thers the how to thread, in that theres a picture of apple os9 on a hd.
now happy
otherwise go to a scrapheap and get an iphone
Or just download one of the many iphone themes for wm6.5.
I think there was an article on the front psge about someone who imitated the entire UI
Just a thought has HTC moved the interests to Android because they have just announced the HTC Wildfire and every month a new fone seams to be out but we are stuck with probs on our amazing HD2. Why don't they spend time fixing these before releasing new phones
Any Ideas people??????????????????????????????
at this moment in time i would say yes, at least until windows phone 7 is released then they will probably switch back to that and android. HTC will still release rom updates and hotfixes for the HD2 but it won't be that often.
It's not that they don't care..they did just recently release an update. But the reason they keep releasing phones instead of focusing on the ones already out is pretty simple. They're a business, a mobile phone business, and they want to make money.
HTC has a leg up on just about every other mobile phone manufacturer thanks to this site. htc devices never seem to "Suck". but since win phone 7 wont be skinable or very customizable from what i have read. then maybe htc will be more android oriented. id love to see sence from winmo ported over. as for updates. HTC seems to make important ones, but dont knock um. most other smartphones dont even get a lot of updates. in my experience, i have never had an HTC device with a problem for to long. longest was my HD2 wich had a data issue. that didnt last to long
that was a big point, why i bought the hd2 and didnt wait for another phone. i have the feeling that the hd2 is the last "best winmo phone" from htc. i dont think they make a better winmo 6.5 phone till wp7...
they want to make the customer feel good with a htc phone, and a customer doesnt feel good when his phone crashes often and runs slowly...
not only xda members buy htc phones, and android just feels better when u dont know how to set up ur phone
I can understand what you lot are saying and i am very happy with my HD2 apart from the text messageing app problem that thay have bin told about loads of time even from me but they are not doing anything about that is my problem
I like my HTC HD2 very much
The only thing I don't like is the text messaging
Please Please Please if any one knows some good sms apps please let me know
I miss the sms style from Iphone

I got tired of waiting for HTC to address this major fault. Resco Contact has what I think is by far the best SMS software. You can install Resco Contact (I purchased it a couple of years ago but you can download a trial) and then just put a link to the SMS part of the program. It works fine for me. Hope this helps.
HTC has a long history of nice looking devices but poor support, 6 months at best is all you can count on from them before they move on. Short answer, yes and contrary to others who think HTC will put all their expertise behind WP7 I think we will see lacklustre efforts from them as they focus even more on android.
I'm really hoping that if they give up on 6.5x version of Sense, they will release files here to allow cookers and mods the chance to keep this phone ticking over. I bought this phone with the hope that Sense would improve (e.g. Facebook tab, RSS reader, Video browser (to launch with CorePlayer) etc. etc) - however, I'm worried we've seen the last of this great interface (on WM6.5)

I didn't like the 6.5.x texting to start with, but to be honest I am so used to it now it really doesn't bother me.
