hi~everyone，i have a trouble with my “today”screen 。when i choose "Messaging" in settings ,then i back to the main screen ,on the screen it does not link to text messages but link to e-mails,could anyone please tell me how to solve this problem

I have no idea where this icon comes from.
It appears every time I have an SMS in my TyTN, or a missed call. I have uninstalled all the plugins, it still sits there. When I press it it pops up a small window that shows the SMS without opening the Mail application of the TyTN.
All I want is to remove it from the today screen and stop making it appear. I have unchecked the "Display Message on Screen" notification... but this blue icon still appears...
Can anyone help me find out where it comes from? I have the WWE Greek HTC ROM...
Anyone? I did a search but nothing came up similar to this...

I had the version from post #12 installed first (scenarios_today_fix.rar )and I got the same SMS notification as in your screenshot.
I then tried the version from post #5 and the SMS notification was gone. Scenarios is a great app - thanks Asukal for making it available

The only problem is that now the small icons from the profiles do not appear in the bottom screen...

Are you talking about windows messaging or TF2D messaging? If you can be more specific about the problem, maybe people can assist.
Both I think.....
on the manila 2D click on message ..I see the messages but when I select one it opens blank..... if I select all message I see all message but when I select one I don't see the history but a blank page..
....
If you know a solution it's ok, because now I have loaded a new rom, so I can't check solutions......
Ive installed finger keyboard v2.1 and then when I open HTC messaging and want to send sms I cant do that because I think it just want to send Email....in other words in the top of my screen (TO or(where I should enter my contact name) when I enter first letter of my contact ,it doesnt display whole of the contacts...it just display the contacts that have Email address...

Here's the deal.
When I am in the HTC text message screen (the one with the nice SEND button), I type in a message and send it, it shows up in the message list asap. However, when the person replies back to me, I have to get out of that HTC Text messaging screen, and come back into it in order to see the updated message thread.
Is this Normal?

Found the solution...
In Settings -> System ->Text messaging
Select Threaded view. Mine was set to classic view.
Soft Reset. and HTC text messaging works perfect.

My first post on this forum, please excuse me if this has already been covered, but I don't see it anywhere..
The sms preview screen is driving me nuts... I always click on "All messages" to see threaded view...
Is there any way to mod the phone so it just goes STRAIGHT to "all messages" in threaded mode when you click on the text messages icon?
Are there any cab files available for the issue? I don't see a way to disable it right on my phone out of the box...

BTW. I'm talking about the simple black screen with white font that pops up when you move the slider on the home screen to "Messages".
That black screen is so freaking annoying!!!

well....
well i dont know of a way to make the tab go straight into all messages, but you could uncheck the show messages tab in settings=personalize home tabs and just add a shortcut for messages to your homescreen
DUDE!!! That was one of those things that was right in front of my face but I didn't see. Excellent call. It's an even easier way to get into messaging than what I was trying to get.

i use CHT so i disabled the tab and set the defualt messaging client to the message icon in my start menu

What do you mean? What is CHT? can you please specify like ... Start> then what > then what
