So you probably flashed a rom not intended to work for your radio or spl.. most likely just a kernel problem.. So go in recovery and restore you system (because you SHOULD have backed it up first) then try again. If you didnt backup first.. well I got nothing to say positive.

Ok so yesterday i tried to upgrade my radio, And I couldnt boot any rom so i decided to revert back to an older radio but i think i messed up. I cant even flash anything on my phone, It wont flash recovery and it wont even go past the htc magic screen...

okay youre lucky im nosy and like helping peoplee jokingg. k first you have to make a gold card, because you dont have a perfect spl. and you need a recovery.img file i recommend the Armon-RA recoverys, but you have to get the "H" file as you have a 32a. then you get a engineering spl so you can flash through fastboot and youll have to update is through the recovery, afterwords youll be free to flash ROMs. but you need the new radio as well. ill give you links to everything this happened to me as well. it took me soo long to find help.

I cant flash anything on fast boot DX
hi guys, i have a Fender Mytouch - which was running roms nicely till i booted back into recovery then selected restart/reboot and it went straight to the HBOOT screen - i press back to go to fastboot but nothing happens, i tried all key combos to get into recovery or fastboot but nothing. Completly stuck on this HBOOT screen :-(

please ive tried to look other posts but they all can get into fastboot i cant, can someone help i didnt flash any spl or anything but 32a/32b roms over the last month - oh and it was running recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.6.2G before this happened

Yes, if you have an engineering SPL, which you do not. You'll need to flash a stock ROM.
do not flash an eng spl. Our phones do not run on anything other then stock radio and spl. Also, even though it is a 32a board, only g1 /32b roms and recoveries work.
What happened to you makes no sense unless your leaving something out or tried to flash an ota Rom.
Take battery out, put it back in /hold home and power, should go into recovery. If not, I would say follow my guide in Sig to start over but you'll probably screw up on flashing the radio and spl.

lol Oops Didnt catch that. HEs right, you have the G1 radio going. Ours should be .12 at the end... I think lol. I havent had to mess with it for a while since Universal Androot works now. But again, you may want to start over if you know what your doing. Otherwise, time to go get a replacement because flashing the radio and spl, your probably going to brick it anyway.

Thanks encouraging as your words are i didnt do anything / screw anything up all i did was reboot into recovery from the sparks rom then reboot/restart and it gave me this problem !!!

Umm..what?
Your radio/SPL are fine. As for your situation, did you root using the goldcard method? If you did, try doing it over and see if it'll let you into fastboot after loading the engineering sappimg.

hey guys , i got into recovery now and wiped everything then flashed a rom but its stuck on the rom boot screen now, cannot boot into the rom
I just flashed [MT3G 1.2/LE Fender] CR_Slide2G1_v1 and it works ! My LE is back up and running
i really dont know why that happened stuck on the Hboot screen

Some roms take 10-15 min to boot up so you just gota have patience .
Also, any roms built with a Cyan kernel after 5.0.8 will work on our phones also.
IS the location working on that rom for you?
When it first cam eout I used it for months with no problems.. but then I tried to go back a few days ago and the weather/clock will not find me.

You wont belive it but this f***in ohone has just gone and done the same problem again.....
I was charging it then powered off the device then turned it on after 30mins and its now stuck on the HBOOT screen AGAIN - grrrrrr i cant belive this thing
So now im completey stuck again - if this happens everything i charge this thing then thats not gonna be cool.

Without a goldcard your not going to be able to go that route. If you've still got your Hero, you can use it to make the goldcard, or any Android powered device for that matter. Maybe just wait it out and see if it just starts working as before?
i have a successful goldcard.img from my Hero will take be ok to use for the Fender you thinks ?
damm-it just tried that and SAPPIMG gives an Incorrect Model ID - because im using the Hero goldcard
damm i dont know what else to try

yes you can, just write the hboot specs and i will tell you what to do and you wont brick it if you do it right

First things first do you have custom recovery installed? Cuz if you do not have you must do it, root your phone and and then install custom recovery.
Then download this adnd put on your sd card
reboot to recovery do a nandroid backup
then select install zip and select that file and wait untill it installs and reboots you have eng spl now.
Download then eyegor's radio switcher plug phone (you must have usb debugging enabled) and click flash old.
after that you must download some 2.2.1 nonsense rom and put it on sd card and again flash through recovery.

if it messes up and like boot loops and all that cause i have a stock rogers 2.1 sense i updated from them and just rooted with custom recovery from mumilovers thread here. Do i just go to reecovery and click recover nandroid?
cause i did my nandroid a few days before just in case ....

and do i use any cyanogen version like 6.1 on their stable list ?
do they all support the same hboot and radio your telling me to go to...
also by going on a diffrent radio will it mess up like the 3g and the signal or anything to do with calling or data?

I effed up my mt3g 1.2...
Thinking i was just putting the stock rom back on my mytouch, i accidentally flashed RUU Sapphire T Mobile US 3.12.531.1 FRG83D for 32b on my 32a. semi-bricked i can only goto stock recovery and fastboot no adb, and i cannot FLASH ANYTHING from RUU or fastboot. i have a goldcard but that doesnt help..i dont know what to do now, ive tried everything for 2 days now, no luck...WITH ANYTHING I EITHER GET MAIN VERSION IS OLDER OR WRONG MODEL ID.

As you understood, you can not downgrade to stock rom 2.10.531.4 from foreign 3.12.531.1. ROM checks versions and raises error.
The ROM version is in misc.img image. It is too hard to change it while phone is not even booting.
Fastboot with hboot 1.33.0013 does not allow remote commands.
Adb is not working cause it works in normal mode or in custom recovery
T-Mobile did not release RUU-version of FRG83D rom, only OTA.
And it is problem... May be anyone knows more...
Oh well...ima keep trying anything, and everything to get back.
but I figured if i can get a custom recovery on this phone, i could flash a eng spl...but i cant even do that, i guess this phone might as well be fully bricked...

Hmmmm... May be your goldcard is not created properly or it is not compatible?
Kingston and Transcend work good, but some Sandisks do not work...
Try create another goldcard

You need a few things.
1. goldcard
2. A sappimg.zip with a higher version than what you have with an Eng spl. (Preferably for 32b)
3. Time, patience
4. Luck
All of these are easy to find or get besides time, patience, and luck

I forgot to mention a common occurance since I lost custom recovery and custom rooted rom, ect.
the "goldcard-sappimg-flash" process freezes or hangs at [4] SYSTEM during the unzipping portion
As you have MT3G v1.2 / Fender - it is too hard to restore your phone after your faulty actions. You bricked your phone, when flashed inappropriate hboot and radio

That post seems to be talking about mismatched radio and spl. His match, but are the wrong ones. He should be able to flash a sappimg.zip to get an Eng spl and fix from there
Ironically, the thread you have suggested is the first thread I followed to configure my device for the "carz" latest custom rom.
Is there a way around the "unzipping hang" that happens during system partition portion of RUU_Sapphire_Rogers_WWE_3.05.631.7_R_release_signed_NoDriver flash? I have also tried the goldcard method with extracted rom.zip of the mentioned RUU rom with same result.

Yeah, but solution is same. Sure, he can start from step 2, cause he has combo without mismatch between hboot and radio already.
And yes, should flash 2.53.707.2 to get special combo with eng spl and then return to stock.

I was having problems rooting my Rogers HTC Magic+. I used this method and it worked like a charm to get root, Eng SPL. After that I was able to flash custom recovery and ROMS.
The ROM in my Signature works really well.
Flash the original "RRU", then root with androot.apk from market, install rommanager from market and flash recovery, reboot recovery and flash the ENG spl
