Are there any good themes for Desire?
When i search the forum or google i only find Desire themes for HD2 :s
Im running DeFrost 0.7 - if that matters...

well with launcher pro you can get the same dock as in froyo if thats what u looking for

Isnt anyone following the nexus forums over there, they have lot of themes.. really great ones ..
Anyways i will now flash one of those and be a pioneer, if that works out then perfect! Everyone else should also know that by then, so ppl can skin their lovley Desires

I have no idea! I seen there are a few versions but I only tried the one so far, the one for CM.
Have you any idea if the other versions may work? I'm game to try them out!
ADW launcher works great is very fast and is very close to how froyo looks like.

I'm using Launcher Pro Beta, which is also good, although, I have heard that ADW Launcher provides better battery life span in comparison.
I used adw, but I went back to launcher pro because I love how it allows you to have 5 rows on your home screen aswell as the 4 on the dock.

adw and launcherpro
switched fully to adw now - just seems to run better and great that they have now enabled pinch to zoom too.
either one u go with they are both great
Does anybody know how to uninstall a theme.zip ?
A bit of a tut here to let us know how you guys are getting these themes to work would be cool?

I am really liking this. This is my first attempt to try and shy away from Sense. The boot animation is a crack up! The black keyboard looks great! If I didn't use Swype I would really enjoy it more
Im glad you like it.
So far everything is running good. I have noticed a lot more internal space, most likely due to Sense and Sense apps removed.
The security lock code screen looks great! I am really digging the black.
Question, on others and on Sushi, the apps launcher is the standard gray color. Is it possible/easy to change the color of it? IMO it is an ugly color. I like the black with Sense personally, but keeping with your theme orange might look cool. Just a thought.
I think you adding 5 screens instead of 3 is a plus. Also, I noticed that when I am in an app I launch from one of the home screens and hit the home button it takes me back to that home screen and not the main home page, MAJOR PLUS! Kinda like hitting the back arrow, something I think shoudl be a setting in stock and other ROMS. Hit it once more and it takes you home.
Overall I am liking it. I do miss Sense, this is my first attempt to go without Sense, a little hard becasue I mostly use Sense apps (Favorites, Agenda, Pictures, Bookmarks) but I am getting use to this. Going to try to keep myself on it for a week to see how it goes!

What about doing the Nexus launcher instead?
u could install it, or use other home replacments in the market.

Damaged Tazz meet Kevlar Mash (A great Combo)
I must say that this theme I my opinion is one of the best looking themes I have seen. I seem to be drawn to the sense based "blue" themes. This theme was worth a detour from sense-able. Love all the options with it. I wanted to see what this theme would look like with adding Kevlar Mash. The pictures are below. Will be using this one for awhile. Thanks to the both of you. The live wallpaper with the bubbles coming right at you was a good touch as well

You should be able to, go to my post #4 and you can see the screenshots of this ROM with Kevlar Mash installed(requires Metamorph).
app 2 sd Confirmed Working
Thought I would drop in and confirm that app2sd is indeed working on this rom. I know that there have been in the past ROM's that say that they support app2sd however many people have not been able to set it up. See attached. I'll say it again great ROM.

apps2sd wiped my phone including my navigation and google maps
I'm loving this ROM but now I can't use the gps now? It was there before I put apps2sd on.

Is your sd card partitioned correctly?

Is there a way to remove Sense and add stock Android Home to new 2.1 rom from Rogers? And if yes,how can i do that?
I know that i can remove Rosie from this rom,but there is no stock home in there.
Try ADW or Launcherpro, they are amazingly customizable. Bad thing though, is you cant use HTC widgets

if you don't want the SenseUI, why don't you try any stable Froyo 2.2 ROMs,
try CM5.0.8, it is pretty cool
Well am not sure why but battery is a lot better on 6.35 radios,and i like how stable that Rogers rom is.So that is the reason,and please no more questions about that.

Basically im taking out all the widgets and rosie, and then im going to put in ADW, launcher pro, and touchwiz launcher. Also will have apps2sd etc..
right now im still testing it out , but hopefully i will have it done soon

It's AMAZING. Very smooth, great transitions, and 9 full homescreens! You can even put more than 9 on if you want to, lol
I'm on Warm 2.2 now, but this is so good that, as a Sense fan (Sense was the reason I bought this phone), this is seriously pushing me to a Gingerbread ROM like CM7. Give it a try!
PS- I am in no way connected to the developer(s) of this software. I just love it

I did see in the comments on the link that someone posted a link to the apk... not gonna advertise for warez but if you want to try it out i you *could* try it from that and if you like it buy it... I bought right after I saw the video, so I can't even confirm that it works
Something that concerned me when watching the video is that this launcher looks like a lot of flash and bling, but maybe lacking on some other areas of basic functionality. From reading the comments (in the original link) of people who have used it, there seems to be confirmation of my fears.
People are complaining about lacking certain basic features like widget resizing... or this:
Not to mention the fact that you can't arrange icons and widgets the way you want to. If you want anything on the bottom row, the top 3 rows have to be full

I'm not sure I fully understand that statement, but in general it sounds like this launcher is optimized to show off its own animations/widgets.
I don't want to pay $15 for this, nor do I want to download warez. So for now, that means I can only judge based on videos and comments. From my impressions though, it looks like switching over would cripple a number of functions that I find very useful in other launchers. In return, I would get some admittedly cool animations, and some visually interesting UI changes, but I don't see any functional enhancements that really interest me.
At the end of the day, I'm very much a "form follows function" kind of guy, so I suspect this just isn't the launcher for me. I'm sure it will be great for many other people though.
I their version for winmo, it was nice, but not for me. Im like the last guy, i like fuction looks. The whole thing with different launchers is to configure what you like. Maybe im just s simple guy, but this launcher looks like something kids will enjoy, i prefer the smart, in smartphone.

played with that earlier mentioned version (cough *warez* touchy subject) a little bit (only lets you run it if you turn mobile data off so it is pointless) and it was cool.
a lot of 'wow' factors that look good but it isn't very functional. launcherpro+ blows it out of the water as far as quick and easy getting to apps & widgets.
I got the spb shell 3d today and omg i am amazed at how smooth it runs and how it barely waists battery. i hated that i couldn't put apps wherever i wanted but then i downloaded desktop visualizer and customized it however i wanted.
btw i have an evo 4g and i am running cm7 nightly #41 gingerbread with savaged-zen 1.0.1 bfs nosbc kernel. (AMAZING!!!!!) ^_^

I need this apk made into an installable one. It's the digital clock widget from the SGS2 but won't install in my HD2.
Not sure how to do that, but there's a chance that it needs touch wiz. Much like sense widgets need sense to work.
I'll give it a go though. If it works I'll let you know.

Nan, not this widget. I was using Launcher Pro instead of TW and the widget was still usable. Others weren't, though.

I've poked it around here and there, extracted it, signed it and repacked it, but seems my froyo doesn't like it. but I'm not a dev, so I might have done something wrong.

I'm using Gingerbread in my HD2 so I should be able to this widget. It isn't TW dependent but did have an odex file, which I didn't copy.
Wanna post it anyway and see if anyone with GB can install it ?
