THIS IS MY FIRST ROM PORT, SO DO NOT BE UPSET IF THE ROM DOESN'T MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. SIMPLY USE ANOTHER ROM IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THIS ONE (THOUGH I PERSONALLY LOVE IT). NO COMPLAINING.

Importing data:
If you used Danj3l froyo v1, then simply copy over your data.img and data directories over to your SDCard. The ports are essentially the same, but this one has all of the latest features (listed above), and my own touch.
Known bugs:
BLUETOOTH IS NOT WORKING. PLEASE NO COMMENTS ABOUT IT UNLESS IT'S USEFUL INFORMATION AS TO GETTING IT TO WORK.

Why does my Android loop during boot?
Be sure to delete all existing files before switching to this rom!
Where do I put the files at? Is this NAND?
Root of your sdcard. NO! This requires the use of HARET.EXE
Why am I getting RoboVoice?
This has nothing to do with the rom, but more-so your Windows Mobile rom. Use a different one.

Simply copy over the apps directory to your root (SD card)

No, sorry. This is EClair... Which looks rather similar to FROYO, which is why I got confused.

Will be perfect if you get wifi working! Love the barebones approach!!!! Don't have much use for bluetooth, just need my wifi cause I live in an Egde/Gprs only area. Keep at it man!!

I am working my best to get this working, as I can see it's the major flaw in this rom. I will release patches here and there

It's because this rom is based on Eclair and flash is only available for Froyo.
If your WIFI doesn't works, try seting ip manually. This is working right for me. Nice rom, it's the faster i had tried.

Data didn't work for me. Anybody else having a problem with with 3g/GSM? And I also notice it recognizes it 's in usb mode when plugged to the computer, but still not actually able to access the files on the sd.

Nice build. Data is working good now with the new rootfs!
And flash LED in camera is back working, that's also nice!
Only issues:
- Having some touchscreen freezes from time to time.
- No GPS (known issue).
- Compass not working properly, it is 90 degree off.
- WiFi only working if you set static IP (known issue).

Use a Windows Mobile ROM that is known to work with Android (I am using Miri's WM6.5.x XtraLight for fast booting into Android)
Use a Radio version that is known to work with Android (I am using Leo_RADIO_2.12.50.02_2)
Download one of the Android builds above
Extract it to the root of your SD card
Start "\Storage Card\haret.exe" (in fact haret.exe is BatchLaunch)
Android autoboot
Install Gen.Y DualBOOT for starting Android into your Windows Mobile
Reboot your Windows Mobile
If Gen.Y DualBOOT is not loaded on Windows Mobile boot create a shortcut of the Gen.Y tool and place it under "\Windows\Startup\", then reboot again
Switching Android builds without data loss
At first: INVEST THE COUPLE OF MINUTES TO MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR "\Storage Card\Android\" FOLDER!!!
Believe me, even if the strategy is perfect, there are other reasons to fail like filesystems and others.
HAVING A BACKUP IS THE BEST STRATEGY!
Method #1 (the simplest)
Replace everything in your "\Storage Card\Android\" folder but keep "data.img" as this is where your settings and market apps reside in.
Method #2
Use third party apps like described in this thread.

Forget about the screenshots, just the simple HTC Desire style.
For the BASIC build, just think of the SENSE build but without all the HTC apps, so without the pull down unlock slider and very minimalistic.

No, everything already uploaded. You get the download link AFTER you have uploaded something to MegaUpload.

Any chance you could upload a version without the HTC theme? There are hardly any builds with the original light grey/green Android theme which I prefer.
Will check this out though, if only to see if the battery life is any good.

The same old well known limitations as ever:
- No 720p support with EVo Camera and Camcorder
- Neocore and some other apps can not be installed, currently investigating this with davlvik debugger.
Camera flashlight is working for me, Flashlight app is not. Will be exchanged in next version if I find a good flashlight app.

Take a look at the changelog info about the used kernel.
It's the latest official git kernel from today using full RAM.

Thanks for this - going to make it my first (proper) Android on HD2 build I think as it seems the most up-to-date with Sense.
One request - could you mirror this on something other than Megaupload? For some reason I'm currently only getting 5kbps (dialup speeds!) from Megaupload, everything else is fine. I will help mirror it everywhere afterwards once I get it!

I am currently messing around with investigating android settings and how to built-in into a release.
I have added this to my dev plan once I completly understand how and where settings especially for themes are stored.

[Q] Best Tattoo-Compatible ROM w/Bluetooth File Transfer

Okay, so i hope im not wrong - im a complete noob with Android phones.
So yesterday i brought my Tattoo, and while playing with its features today and yesterday i found it did not support bluetooth file transfer .
So i googled it, and got a bit of a headache, and then i saw about ROMS! Im guessing that i need a custom ROM to get access to Bluetooth File Transfer. Soo, which ROM available (preferably a complete one ) has Bluetooth File Transfer available and doesnt sacrifice anything else (i.e. Camera etc.).
Or is there a way to get Bluetooth File Transfer without flashing a ROM?
Btw i have rooted my phone.
As i said, complete noob here - so please be slow with me XD

BT file transfer will only work on a 2.1 or 2.2 ROM. And the camera and FM radio doesn't work on both of them. So there's definitely a trade off. If you can sacrifice camera and FM radio for BT file transfer, then check out Kiljacken's 2.1 ROM.

I installed the v0.6.4.2 on my tatto and it works extra...
the only problem is that it has 5 screens and not so many widgets...

Second day:
the rom works fine with out any problems.
Installed few games and few software and when I run them all in the same time it does not lag at all...
the trouble is that there are just a few widgets installed with the ROM so I had to install widgets from market (which are not that good) so if anyone has good widgets please PM me or pos it down here...

Guys making you're fm radio works : try this
Download Terminal Emulator from Market and install. Open it and type "su" (not the quotes, only type what is between them) and press enter. type "cd /" and press enter.
You're now at the root and can type the instructions
"chown root:root /system/xbin/hci*" enter
"chmod 4755 /system/xbin/hci*" enter

Enable sdcard from menu (fixed)
1.you have to down load the terminal emulator from market place
2.open it and type "su" and press enter. allow super user access to it (mine kept freezing so i backed out and re started it. You will need to type "su" again and a window should pop up )
3. then if anything was done right you should see a "#" sign were your about to type the next line.
4.then type "mkdir /data/sd" make sure there is a space between the mkdir and the first /.
5.if everything worked right then nothing should happen except it moves to a fresh line in the emulator .
if you did everything right you should be able to go into settings and unmount your sdcard from there.
Note : If u had problem with installation apps try this :
1-install Terminal Emulator
2-u should have Superuser to get to root
3-open Terminal Emulator
4-Press window button/Preferences/initial command
5-write
#su (enter)
fix_permissions (enter)
reboot
all application force close will vanished

Update 10/14/10: I put this build on 2 HD2 devices, my wife and her brother have been using it for about a week now there have been no issues. The build is smooth, fast and reliable.
I would like to use it myself put I personally dont like the iphone resemblance but I would recomend it to anyone who wouldnt mind.

No disrespect to other devs but i have tried all of the famous builds and this one absolutely rocks them all.

For now, all i can expect more is to see some more languages and removal of the chinese apps from the build.(i couldn't uninstall them)
Thanks for making such a good looking and perfectly functioning build. I hope also turkish language will be available with the next update.

How do I slow down the sensitivity of the screen. I am finding it difficult to use the keyboard. When I type on any letter multiples of it will appear. For example when I type on g you'll have ggg, even with the slightest touch

As i say b for .. i done all my build is mostly for Daily use and dam just like to Customize and Customize for the language it can be done .. just wait for the member that got the Expertise to give it a go.. for now enjoy the build u all will busy done Customization and show off to you're friend perhaps can show some screen shot ...

After few days of suffering and attempt to quit tring
I finally manage to make it work in my blackstone
thanks for:
levisornothing for links and other files.
g3rm0 for kernel and rootFS
R^7Z for battery booster trick
highlandsun for SOD fix ril
now after i tested the system quickly
i found those pros and cons
pros:
quick and stable build
3d gallery works like a charm
wifi works just great
3g works for me just fine
cons:
BT dont work for me
no Arabic support and this is my own problem
system freeze when i try to charge the phone via wall charger or usb via pc
cant change the fonts and this is also a personal opinion
and non tested thing:
GPS.
overall the system is almost ready for the daily use but will need the charge it from winmo first
untill i find a fix for that or some one help me to fix it .

I will take a look but from what i read its for 2.0 2.1 2.2 2.3 that use cyanogen Mod7
I dont think this build is using it.
but i will do more search about that.
