maybe its not? maybe it is a extra slot

i suspect its to do with Windows mobile rather than the X2. if you look in other applications like Sktools theres mention of IR ports and all manner of things that the X2 doesnt have. WM is used on many phones so has to take everything into account. i dont think theres a secret expansion port hidden away!! lol. its just a generic message thats not applicable in our case.
actualy the headphone socket doubles up as the tv out... outside chance it could be referring to that??

even if it doesn't work i'm kinda stuck with it because i already bought one on ebay for about $6. but i'd still like to know some opinions on if people would think it would work.
thanks
It's my understanding that the pins are the same, as is the formatting, so the only issue should be proper alignment. In short, yes, it should work fine.
YMMV, so please post to confirm!

sure. will do. thanks for the info.
Oops! It seems that I was partly mistaken. The pins have a different arrangement. The adapter should solve that, though.
Everything else should work fine.
Good luck!
it does. works great. using it with a 1gb microsd that was in my last phone. works like a charm.

A little humour

yeah, Looks like my card. I was able to pop it into my PC and run scandisk to recover some of the contents only to watch the card corrupt again. I bought a kingston thinking that I couldn't go wrong there, but I guess I was wrong.
That would be the perfect SD card to go with my today screen:
and no it's not photoshopped! (But neither is it accurate I hope!!!!!!!!)
Does negative priority on tasks mean I would gain more by not doing them??

SD card or Sim Card Notification in Hero

Hi I have a notification in the task bar that I can work out what it is. I am using Fatal1ty Hero 1.4 rom.
It is either a sd card or a sim card with a little gear beside it. I assume it is for settings of some type. When I pull down the notification bar it is there but clicking on it does nothing and there is no way to clear it.
I have looked in the magic manual and can't find an reference to this type of notification.
Any ideas what it is for?
I realise this is a super old thread but I have this on my nexus one & I really want to get rid of it. Anybody know what it is? I'm on Vodafone NZ

That's in 7.0 and 7.1 developer options as well, I'm pretty sure it just lets them write to storage without explicitly asking for the permission like they usually have to.

Custom ROM - Install Apps Fully On Micro SD Card

Simple Question:
Which ROM offers the possibility to install apps complete on the Micro SD Card instead of the internal drive?
And is it possible with this AICP 12.1?
thx, dj
Hm, maybe you can have a look into the Link2SD app. You can find it in the playstore.
But I do not believe that a ROM offers that for all, also sys apps. Because it is quite dangerous if there is no sd card anymore.
