Thanks in advance
yes u can
i try to instal to my htc touch pro wm 6.1 with sense 2.1 and work perfect
6.5 has different icons to 6.1 so they wont work correctly you will need to make your own set or search for 6.1 version

[Q]Any possibility to having a wm6.5 native kernel for our Elf ?

Hellooo all
I just want to know if we are any possibility to having a wm6.5 native kernel for our ELF and ELFIN.
I know that for having this, we want the BSP that only HTC have...but some peoples on xda can building these kernel ( on the hermes,...etc...)
So, i just want to know if we have any "luck" to get a wm6.5 native kernel.
Thanks a lot.

Why always Win 65.as basis for cooking?

Hi, I've got a question...why is windows 6.5 always used as basis for romcooking? isn't it possible to use win 6.1 as the performance is better and than for example combinante with htc mega design or so as in the actual roms with win 6.5? i didn't find any stylish and well cooked 6.1 rom for opal
I think it's because no body feel like using a cook 6.1 ROM instead of official 6.1 ROM.
The official ROM always the most stable and the performance is better than any 6.5 ROM. It uses just 30% of RAM when closed manila. And it's no bug.
The thing is I use 6.5 ROM because I want to upgrade my PPC. That's all.
I Use 6.1 German and it is great looking at performance....but the fingerfriendlyness is better in win 6.5....so i'm searching for tools to improve that in windows 6.1....i think...on the opal...6.5 sucks :/ Tested mandy roms from here...but very slow stuff...

No buddy here i want to correct you that wm 6.5 is not used as base actually wm 6.1 is only used for cooking as a base rom.
What you wanted to ask is why only wm 6.5 roms are being cooked right?

You say that it only uses 30% battery then what would u say for this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=628325 which has more free ram than wm 6.1
That why I am waiting for your ROM jagan2. Because you like to make LITE ROM and I will use LITE ROM only. I love to install my stuff myself.
Not that the other M2D 6.5 ROM is not good. The other may like it.
Oh, now I am using mua30 lite ROM ^^

WM5 to new

I have Universal and got a question.
Can I use WM5 stock ROM to cook WM6.1 or 6.5?
Are there any dfferences between cooking from stock/base WM5 and from base WM6.1 to newer versions?
Yes it is, cause the core is different...
but you can go to the HTC Universal forum and download a 6.5 or 6.1 kitchen by any chef and get the OEM and ROM folders you will need the native 6.5 kernel too read the tutorials here to set or port a new device into OSkitchen or EVK

Any QVGA devices with official 6.5 ROMs?

Are there any QVGA devices that have official Windows Mobile 6.5 ROMs out there? I have been searching but keep finding links back to here for cooked ROMs.
I previously cooked a ROM for my Blackstone but used the EXT Packages dump from a HD2 and customisted the bits that didn't work. I want to build a WM 6.5 ROM for a Kaiser and I was going to try and apply the same logic with a QVGA device if there is one?
Thanks, Andy
