Hi,
So I have had the Kaiser for over a month already. I need a case!! What is the top quality case out right now? Is it www.proporta.com, or another manufacturer?
Cheers,
Phil
or this one, http://www.krusell.se/product.php?productID=2774?
I am siding with the Proporta though. What else?
Phil
I really hope that the Noreve case thats supposed to be coming out for the Kaiser isnt one that doesnt allow you to use the keyboard while it is in the case...and i wish it would be coming out soon, they keep on pushing it..

Vaja cases are amazing, but they r $65
Kaiser Case Options
For the time being, I'm getting by ok on the stock Kaiser case along with a small neoprene case from OP/ Tech USA. The Velcro on the stock case will lose its grip over time and repeated use and that fact alone has me case hunting too.
The OP/ tech case is useful for when I just want to carry the phone someplace other than clipped to my belt (say a cargo pocket). There is a clip on it too if need be. The real plus for me is its utility & bang for the buck: the case provides shock & screen protection and even a bit of water resistance with minimal bulk. It stashes well and the price is right. There are color options too. I’ve used these cases for cameras, GPS and cell phones for some time now and like them a lot.
http://optechusa.com/product/detail/?PRODUCT_ID=35&PRODUCT_SUB_ID=
Mind you, I’m still looking for a different leather case that is appropriate in business environment. This one looks kind of interesting at the moment.

I am a big fan of the Krusell cases. I have one for my 3125, 8125, 8525, and my son's SLVR. But the one they have specific for the Tilt/TyTN II I don't really care for. And I've decided I like the looks of the Tilt so much I don't want to cover it up with that style of case. *better to show it off when pulling it out* I am swaying to a horizonal case like the one you linked to. Could elaborate on the "bulkiness" of that case. Does it compare to the one that came with the 8125?
I should have my Proporta case in the next few days. Will post a review when I've got it.

How is the clip on that case? It looks pretty nice for the money but I will use the clip all the time and need it to hold very well to my belts.

I'm sure it comes with this one. Works great holding on to a belt. Another thing I like about the Krusell is their Multidapt consept. See here Provides a lot of versitility on how and were one can attach there phone.
The Krusell Horizontic case I am using is slightly bulkier than the one supplied with the Tytn II. It however seems sturdier in offering protection to the device. The case can by attached either via the supplied clip or via the two belt loops at the back. I also like the fact that it closes by means of a magnetic button, and not via a velcro strip.
Krusell also offer a lifetime guarantee on the products. I am mentioning this not that I have any connection with them, but because I once sent in a case for a replacement and this was done with no questions asked.
I bought one of these cases on Ebay. It arrived Friday and I found it to be a perfect fit. All the cutouts match up and it's very well made.

From which sites did you order your cases? I'm asking because not many sites stock Krusell and I would like to have some options fur any further purchases.

Hi,
I am new and have the TyTN II for two weeks now. Beautifulll!
My previous model P3300 is lighter though, but hasn't features I really wanted to have (HSDPA f.i.)
On topic now:
I've ordered a case from pielframa for the P3300 beginning this year and the quality/fit was awesome. I've emailed them last week and they informed me the TyTN II case is in the making (<-- I'm dutch, so not sure if this is correct) by there design department and will be on the market soon.
Reading the posts here I think the noreve.com case mentioned by "hofo_mofo" looks like it is good quality with perfect fit too. Just wanted to add pielframa on this thread as their case for my P3300 was just perfect!
As soon the TyTN II case from pielframa comes out it's mine, I will be really carefull till then in the meantime
It is available

I like Pielframa cases, having had one for a previous pda. They are of a good quality and fit. However, what type of Pielframa case are you after? Is it the one where to talk on the phone you have a flap of leather dangling about? I don't particularly like that design for a phone.
hello!
i need help!
I've damaged my pouch case of my brand new touch pro. (my dog biten it actually).
I've been searching the web to buy a new one (from HTC, equal to the original boxed one, since I really love it), and I can't find it!

I'll sell you mine as i never use it, I can't stand the velcro and I think the grey is really ugly. Or if you had a mogul, the touch pro will fit in the leather case that the mogul came in. PM me if you are interested.
P.S. I know I'm not that active on this site but we can do the deal through paypal so it is secure and I'm extremely active on smartphonejunkie.com...just postin so you know I won't scam you
Which case are you after? My VFUk TouchPro came with a leather tube that does not have a belt clip... I bought a black case HTC case from www.expansys.co.uk which uses velcro to seal - not ideal but am using for now - I have a couple of TyTii cases which use a magnet to keep them closed... only problem is they are a little on the large side... then again so am I + I like my ladies a little on the large side... Just my luck to end up living with a skinny, fridget, short arsed, *****...
she has just read this as I am writing this on the sofa - nothing for me again tonight...

There are a couple of cases I found at Best Buy that seem to be a reasonable fit:

Also Vaja makes some cases that might work. They can be expensive, and shipping really increases expense. However, they are well made:

That's the OEM style I was looking for. Thx! Just have to find it in stock now.
if u go to a local sprint store.. u can get the actual HTC embroided Touch Pro case for $14.99
Nice options posted so far, but I'm holding out for a spring clip holster from www.seidioonline.com. Had one of those for my Tilt and it's the best thing ever. Very quick to retrieve device off your belt and you don't have to unfold a case to look at/start using the device.
I like that brando leather case and clear plastic case but I wonder about the clips on the plastic case breaking.
Here are some more links I have found and some are prob already posted on the xda site..

Original pouch sucked for tp. So for my fuze, I ordered this:
http://www.pdair.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=10100000_900000_11000489&products_id=12333
My only worry with these cases is that it doesn't say or show what type of lining the inside of these leather cases have...That is a concern IMO...
Great links guys, but i think im gonna order the Original Pouch that came with the Touch Pro, for my Fuze :-D
http://www.windowsmobilenow.com/us/p_wm_acc1.aspx?i=170921

They have these at Target for $8. I picked one up as the Fuze fits in there very nicely and I needed something to use until I find a better case. It would really be ideal if the belt clip were better. But for $8, its a steal.

Hi:
By any chance do you have a picture of what this case looks like? And, do you by any chance know the Sprint item number? I can't find it online, and would like to call around to see if any Sprint stores in my area have one.
Thanks!
just got mine in the mail yesterday.
bought the black one for the Touch Pro, with the leather holster for 50$
by far thee single best case/holster combo i've ever bought for any phone
seidio makes some top of the line stuff
if you guys havent gotten one of these yet, spend the $30 and please do
the case is plastic but its coated and rubberized, so no more fingerprints and your phone isnt slippery any more, never have to worry about your chrome edges chipping or any of that.
amazing case, cant give enough praise. no pics unfortunately, but after reading a few reviews from other buyers of the same product on here, i just had to get it and now i'm recommending the same to the rest of you

Just curious, but why did you choose the leather holster instead of the matching spring-clip holster?
I used a Seidio clip holster on my Cingular 8125, and have the Innocase and clip holster combo on my AT&T Tilt.
I'm looking at getting an AT&T Fuze, and will probably get the Innocase and clip holster combo just like what I have on my Tilt.
Just like you, I really like the Seidio products that I purchased.
The only other thing I would ask for from Seidio would be to offer the Innocases in different colors like they have for the Tilts. I have a standard black Innocase on my Tilt, and my wife has a red Innocase on hers. This makes it easy for us to tell our phones apart.
Seidio has great products, I love the case + matching clip case.
I bought a combo set from seidioonline.com too bad
I don't want to say anything.Just have a look few photos my taken.

did you order the " AT&T HTC Fuze" case?? cuz that looks like it is for the Sprint Touch Pro. On Seidio's site, there are no blue cases for the Fuze. AT&T's version is a little different.
I bought a case from Seidio for my tilt and it was a really quality case that fit perfectly. I pan to get one for my Fuze too.
I get it....
I have two coupons for seidioonline.com INSIDER5 Gets you $5 off an order of $50 and INSIDER10 gets you $10 off $75.
Hurry up and use them because they expire in 11 hours! (Feb 24th, 2009 at 11:59PM)
I dont work for seidio, just purchased the innocase for my tilt a while back and get coupons in my email.
I've posted the coupons to www.retailmenot.com so check there for other coupons. (not affiliated with retailmenot.com in anyway, just think its a great site to share coupons and shopping tips on).
hope this helps some people out.

I, too, have the innocase + holster. Recently, the clips on the bottom half of the phone fell off. I will be contacting Seidio soon and will keep you updated on how they handle the situation. Aside from this, I love the case.
i just finished my order on a case black for att fuze and holster, does anyone have any expirience with the wear on the case from the clip?

So far , the clips & case is pretty good, I do not see any wear out.
This is the best protection for the phone I never have.
Yes the Seidio products are excellent Ive been using them since the treo 600 then 650 then 700wx.....and now touch pro....
and the product reliability has DEFINITELY INCREASED OVER THE YEARS
thought id contribute my .02 cents.
the innocase + holster is fantastic! mine came in today and boy i love it! the innocase is perfect for me. nice feel, and plus you can carry your phone around in your pocket with just the innocase.
No wear whatsoever with mine as well. I love how easily it just snaps into place. Can't go wrong!
Just got mine in the mail today. Absolutely the best thing I've bought for my TP.
I had bought the case with the hopes that I wouldn't get a heart attack every time I dropped my phone anymore, but its so nice that I don't wan't to scratch the case either haha.
Excellent quality case.
I think the Innocase looks great. Curious if one of you existing owners can answer something though. Is the texture of the case similar to those of silicone skins? Like is it sticky to the touch? Or is it smooth?
Hello,
I've heard some shops and tmobile sell HD2 without default leather case, but when I'll buy HD2 I wanna have one. Checked expansys and clove.co.uk, no leather cases included. Can you please link a UK delivery shop with a <500 quid price and the default leather case included?
Regards
I really wouldnt worry about the leather case - it is of dubious quality and is fairly pointless to be fair.
Its not worth paying more just for the case. Its not a particularly brilliant one. You can get good ones of ebay and the like.
EDIT You beat me to it.

Actually, the Expansys one does have the case included. All HD2 retail packages have the case. The only exception I believe is that some carriers (i.e. T-Mobile etc) are distributing ones without the case.
I got mine from Handtec and the leather case was included.

I have to disagree. Mine is of excellent quality and I never take my phone out without it.
But, in fairness, you can get them for around a tenner anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much about it not being supplied with the phone.
I got mine from Clove and it came with a leather case. I'm not sure why there's so little love for the pouch in this thread. I think it's quite nice and it does everything it needs to do quite well.
I agree, the case isn't bad at all.
You definitely can't knock it at less than £6!!!
http://www.prepaymania.co.uk/mobilephone/htc-hd2-po-s510-pouch-unpacked.html
i really dont know why u dont like this case....
i found it brilliant and this slide in n out pouch type case its the only type of case that i like for my phones... i really dont like cases that make the phone bulky and the like....
I got my phone from T-Mobile UK and didn't received the case.
I kicked up a fuss about it as the documentation clearly states that one should be provided.
So far, I've not heard a thing back from them.
WHether the case / pouch is good or not - I would want one, just for peice of mind for resale value (god forbid!)
Why do you want to use the leather case? It is very tight and it took me a lot of time and effort to squeeze the Leo in or pull it out. After two tries, the case now sits permanantly in my drawer.
The only situation I want to use the case is to place the Leo on top of it, so that the camera lens is not scratching my desktop.
After a while, the case expand and it's easier to put/remove the HD2. It's like a new pair of shoes, which have to be used a little to be a comfortable fit.
If you don't want to have to force the HD2 in or out the first days, you can use a folded over piece of paper of similar dimension/thickness than the HD2 to straighten out gradually the case.
