Hi
I've downloaded the beer simulator off this site, as a zip file and I've unpacked it but what i don't know is how to install this program on to my HTC touch HD. the program was apparently made with opengl es and the download did say 'we assume user will have basic knowledge of opengles'. unfortunatly i have no knowledge of opengl es as this is the first time i have heard of it, but i would really like to install the beer program to show of the phone to people i know who've got iphones and ipod touches with their beer simulator on it.
You should look for a cab installer of beer v2. It's somwhere on xda ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412667&page=15 post#144)and it works with no problem on my touch HD Now I am able to join my iphone friends drinking beer and driving I just wish the progam had a little better resolution fit to 800x480 of my HD. Maybe somebody from the forum could do this?
PS. Maybe this post topic name should be changed to something like "Diamond beer v2 on Touch HD"?
i bought an htc touch diamond today, and its an amazing phone!!!
i have alot of games and stuff for it....but i haven't been able to figure out how to put emulators on it?? like the pocketgba emulator, ps1 emulator, and the snes emulator.......anyway, if anyone knows how to put an emulator on the diamond (i have the p3700 model unlocked if it makes any difference), please tell me how, and give me the links!
and if anyone knows of any good 3d games, that aren't "demos" or trials" can ya tell me where to get 'em? cause i got some and they were crap....all racing games though.
and one more question....i downloaded .exe games (such as yabgbt and touchdown and the cod2 game)....and i can't figure out how to put some of the .exe files on...errors keep popping up when i try to run the .exe files on my PC to put them on my diamond saying that the file isn't a real microsoft executable or something.
i have gotten some exe's to run, but others.....no luck at all.
and i know that the cod2 ppc game isn't easy to install and theres something you have to do to specific dll files but i didnt get it.....sorry for being such a noob, and if there's another question on the forums like mine, please don't get pissed, i checked 20 pages of forums for an answer, and googled it but nothing came up
i'm clueless.... ....so can ya clue me in?
thanks in advance.
The first thing you need to do is think of a better user name....
second .... install the newest .net framework ... you need this to run a good chunk of games and programs you will find here ... it's a simple install, and it's about the easiest thing you can do to your phone
after you install that restart your phone and most of your emulators will work...if a windows mobile application or game is an EXE you downloaded from the internet...you need to install it via active sync...so if you haven't already install the CD that came with your phone on your computer, then plug in your phone while active sync is open and install the exe through active sync (the active sync help file can answer any more questions you might have on that)
and also I would download the latest Prince of Persia for windows mobile...runs AWESOME on the diamond, easily the best graphics on any game I've seen on WM
hey..
i'm fairly new on xda dev myself and i own a touch diamond too. i was wondering if there are any java games designed for the resolution of the htc td?????
cheers!
thanks!!
this helped alot!!
you're obviously experienced with this....so do you know of any tower defence games that are freeware?
i keep finding "asgard defence". i put it on my phone and its AMAZING but i dont have 10 bucks to spend on it right now. :\
Recently I have been trying to get a GBA emulator on my TD2. I've searched about it and found some recommended GBA emulators. I tried some of them, but for some reasons, they don't work on my TD2.
The emulators and the problems are as follows:
1.Morphgear
-It can't run certain roms due to insufficient of memory.
-If it can run the roms, the game screen and the controller turn out to be REALLY small.
2.PocketGBA
-A d-pad is needed to play the games but TD2 doesn't have one and so far there is no virtual d-pad for PocketGBA.
It runs smoothly. All I need is a d-pad!!!
3.GBACE
-It can't load ('see') any roms though I have already installed the tgetfile.dll file.
I'm confused whether it's an April's Fool joke...
Does anyone have the same problem?
Can anyone solve any of the problems?
Or is there a working GBA emulator other than those I mentioned?
I hope there will be a way.
Thanks for any reply.
I use MorphGear on my TD2. You can download other controllers from the developer website (I use "Gameboy Advance OSX". It's simple with wide buttons). Then you can resize it to WVGA with any paintingprogram and copy it to the Games/Morphgear/Skins folder. Now the controller should use 1/3 of the screen.
In the settings under Display > Sreen size choose "Auto Scale" and the game fill the other 2/3.
Hope I could help.
Thanks for the reply
Now the game screen is much bigger
But can you tell me how to resize the buttons to WVGA?
I don't quite understand... I'm so noobie with this.
How to?
I can't get on my HTC Diamond 2, I get error 355. When I install with cab I don't get anything... Can some one just post theirs so I can just put it on..
Do you have the description of error 355??
I can't post my cab because I think it has some problems too!
There is always a 'memory insufficient' error and it lags a lot...
Typo: Meant Not in the title not "now".
Hello fellow smart phone users,
I am new to the deal, would be safe to assume I know nothing. This should be fun for some of you ^.^"
I've got the HD2/Leo from T-Mobile UK and currently on the 1.43.110.2 rom
I have the 3.5 .NET Framework thing installed as per the intructions on the tips thread here. God knows if that has to do with anything.
But the problem is, when I start the FPSEce 0.10, the loader thing starts alright, then when I click on on fpsece010.exe as instructed on Pdf, all I get is a black screen for 1 sec, then back to where ever I was, the app simply doesn't exists in the task manager. Tried uninstalling FPSEce and installing it into the device memory instead duno if that helps, but still no good.
Am I missing something here ? Was there something I should;ve done in the installation process ? Didn't find a video on youtube which is really a N00b guide, all of them assume it works first.
Anyone with the same problem ??
Your help will be greatly appreciated !!!
PEACE^^
The Post is sinking into te abyss with no replies ... Help !!!!!
my advice is to wait for newer versions of fpse as the current 0.10 is still unplayable in my opinion. the control functions have not yet been configured for proper use with the HD2 screen.
im not sure if .net 3.5 is required for fpse but have you configured your device (device policies) to use .net 3.5 in the .net configurator
before some one starts flaming! yes i have tried it and got games to work but the current controls its just to cumbersome to play in my opinion!
ignore due to repost

cheers for the reply,
But I have made the registry change so it uses 3.5 but no good ?
It simply won't start, any chance that it conflict with a specific app ?
Same problems and no answers
here same problem too
1. Do you have a PSX BIOS file in the BIOS folder?
2. Are you starting it from the FPSE icon in the start menu?
3. Do you have a PSX ISO ( game ) to load?
There is no reason to be clicking on fpsece010.exe since the Startmenu icon is handling this. With the correct BIOS installed you should see a request to select your ISO game file at startup.

The donation version works great with the HD2. Well worth the investment.
same here
i got supporter fpsece 0.10 version n still got same problem
if anyone needs bios files check the link below. I've been meaning to test this out so i got in touch with some of my old friends in the emulation scene and i have managed to obtain a quantity of of bios files of many different versions.
I knew all that time i spent playing mario, sonic and co on the pc as a teenager wouldn't be wasted.
I downloaded it and played around before doing the last T-Mo US update, but I could not get multi touch working at all. Until that works in the free version I will save my money. Otherwise it worked very well and I was pleased with the quality, but trying to race with only one button pressed at a time was not so fun

you need to use a bios rom (i am using SCPH1001). copy this file to /Programs/FpseCE/BIOS, then launch fpsece. when the loader shows up, tap "cancel", the program should start and you should see the playstation animation and hear the sound. if this worked, exit fpsece by long-pressing the [X].
then start fpsece again, choose your playstation image in the loader.
if you own the supporter version, you should use the hd2 optimized pack.

You need the supporter version for multitouch. I would highly recommend spending the few dollars it costs to get that if you have the hd2.... its well worth it. This is one of the best programs out there for gamers.... you have the entire playstation library in the palm of your hands. You can even get a psx iso with a nes emulator and every nes game and it plays pretty well with fpsece. The multi-touch controls make a huge difference. Also with the supporter version you get realtime saving and g-sensor support. Well worth the measly 5euros it costs.
strange one here but isnt against forum rules to upload the bios here seen as you're not supposed to be able to get hold of one even though a quick google and you can find it
Hi all,
I just bought a HTC touch T3330 recently due to my working environment and i have browse around the forum/website searching on how to get the java game to work on my phone.
I installed Esmertec Jbed 20080912.5.1 SD (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=486697) & (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=655227) and tried running the game. The game loads fine but my touch screen is disabled thus i can't select anything.
How do i make my touch screen workable? Do i need to install other apps 1st before i install the java games?
I am totally new to WM phone and your great help is appreciated.
Thank you
Regards
looks like no one is able to help me =(
Well the games designed for touch phones are compatible. and again Touchscreen of your phone should be supported. Most games do not work on Touch2.
Thanks for your reply..i will try out the game recommended by u on your thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=678848) to see if it works. Just got to find the link to download the game. =)
Last resort is to pm you for the games
