I'm on Rogers and I'm wondering which radio works better for us here? The latest rogers or the latest and newer T-mobile?

Hi,
I was vacationing in Australia and decided to buy a Wildfire from Telstra. My main reason was the 850/2100 WCDMA. I live in Canada and travel a lot to Europe. I got the phone unlocked but not rooted (I can live with it being unrooted).
I read that most European carriers have released Froyo ROMs. I tried to see if an upgrade was available for mine but I can't seem to find anything.
I suppose that I could be safe and wait for Telstra to release the update (anyone knows when?) or I could root it and put a generic 2.2 rom on it? Would this generic ROM work on my device given that it's 850/2100 and not 900/2100?
Thanks a lot and sorry if I'm a little confused! This is my very first Android device!
PS I don't really care if the Froyo cannot be rooted.

Hello,
I also bought a Telstra Wildfire only about a week ago. I installed SUnAaBh 2.2.1 ROM on there, it works fine. Waiting for Telstra's branded and bloated 2.2 update will DEFINITELY have the new, unrootable HBOOT!
EDIT: Telstra makes these phones Quad-band and ensures worldwide capability, and flashing a custom ROM will not mess with the radio.
I have installed this stock ROM on my wifes Telstra Wildfire:
http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Buz...5.55.24H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed.exe
It works well and is stable and free of bloat that you find on carrriers ROMS.
yup, i'm with telstra running wildpuzzle v.08 rom, kicks arse over what stock froyo is
Hi all,
I have a 32A Magic bought in Singapore and loaded with Rogers rooted ROM 2.1.1 (baseband 63.18.55.06QU_6.35.16.19) (its a rooted version with superuser only and nothing else, remembered get it from Smoki thread).
I now move to US and tried AT&T but I get no 3G signal only edge? I want to switch to T-mobile but I don't know if I can get 3G signal there? If yes which ROM should I use?
Thanks a lot.
Well as the title states I got a really good deal on a Rogers focus and am planning on obtaining the unlock code. The question I have is can I flash the AT&T firmware on this device seeing as that is who I have service with

Yes, you can. But unless you're going to use the AT&T stuff you can stay with Rogers rom.
Is there a difference in the radio from the att version and the Rogers version

Yes. Rogers on Mango 7720 is newer.
Is it true that only the AT&T and Bell Radios are compatible with CM 7.2?
If so, which one should I be using for my HK Atrix ME860?
Please advise....
Telstra user here on 850Mhz NextG and AT&T Atrix (CM7 weekly).
Just testing the new N_01.77.36P radio as nobody else has reported the results on Telstra. Appears to be working great. No issues, been making calls and browsing HSDPA+, and data speeds are noticeably better in previous deadzones/bad reception areas.
Only been testing for a few hours, will add more if found
Report about battery life plz
seems unaffected
edit: aren't you in Pakistan? ROTFL I'm testing in Australia on carrier Telstra
Any new observations with Radio N_01.77.36P ?
Hello,
I am thinking about installing the "Radio N_01.77.36P" soon. Did you notice any difference such as battery and / or reception since your last post?
Do you remember how you installed it? Any info would be appreciated.
