Set Minimum Supported BitPool to 42, Maximum supported to 80, Bitpool to 48
Wifi & BT enabled at same time:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BCMSDDHD1\Parms ->BTCoesist change 0 to 1
Wifi enable 11n standard: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BCMSDDHD1\Parms
11nModeDisabled change 1 to 0
Wifi Scan Interval:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\WiFi->ScanInterval change 60 to desidered value in seconds (e.g. 10 scan every 10 seconds)
Disable GPRS auto attach:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction->NoGPRSAutoAttach change 0 to 1
Reduced Noise in call:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting -> ReduceNoiseInCall change 0 to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting -> SupportReduceNoiseInCall change 0 to 1

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408} delete value: AvailableOptions
(before export key).
I'm not sure HSUPA working. In control panel showed advanced network and appears setting enable HSDPA and HSUPA. Other settings works fine.
Only for Italian people (and for all devices with manila2d italian):
Edit - Upgrade language fix
Some text of manila2d meteo mistmach tranlsation. Sky Clear in night time showed "cancella" but correct is "sereno". In Task Manager setting appears "Domensione Grande" in icons setting. But correct is "Dimensione Grande". In UsbtoPC original translation is "quando si college" correted with "quando si collega". Installing file HTC Language fix attached in this post you can correct this.
Update: correct "avanti" with "inoltra" in sms forward translation. Added correction for internet sharing mui and fotocamera mui (some error translations)

GPS Registry Hack to show in Control Panel not working 8125

I tried using Total Commander and TRE.
I go to HKLM\Control Panel\GPS Settings
In there, there is a Redirect.
I have tried deleting it, making a DWORD Group and setting it to 2. Soft-Reset. Still doesn't show up in Control Panel.
I have tried deleting it, making a DWORD Hide and setting it to 0, then making a DWORD Group and setting it to 2. Soft-Reset. Does not work.
Anyone with a Cingular 8125 successfully able to make the GPS settings show up? Am I doing something wrong?

try to wait 15 secs before resetting, it takes time to update the registry. First suspend the device, count to 20 and then soft-reset
It worked on my K-Jam, but it shows up in my Connections folder, not Control Panel. Good Luck.

is this to mean that cingular 8125 has gps?
nope, it doesn't have GPS. If you couple it with a GPS device, you can change some basic settings with it - but more than likely your GPS device will come with software that allows you to change them anyway.
Have you also tried to delete the "redirect" key in the registry ?
I can confirm this works on 8125. Tried it this morning.
What were your exact steps please?
worked on my 8125 and k-jam.
i just tried it now and i have the gps settings in connections tab.
with all the options.

What is the SMS counter showing at the end
of your message before you send it ?
Edit :
Maybe the Unicode-Option is activ and you used
a special charater like ´ in It´s
it may be responsible for it...
sory but I don´t understand what you mean with that.
Maybe i can help.
Goto start => all programs => messaging => Menu => Options => (tap on) *SMS/MMS
unselect the "use Unicode when necessary" option

Maybe you could type the Message, and your signature and then we can see if you are using any unicode letters that could be responsible to reduce the size of the SMS.

Real Analog RGB output on PDA and fully configurable resolutions (pictures inside)

Hello,
These days I have managed to add real analog video output to my Asus P750. My goal is to connect the pda to my car's navi screen. It has 400x234 res. (NTSC timings).
HARDWARE PART:
I desolder the small LCD FFC connector located on the pda board, and solder ultra fine cable leads to the small pads:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then, I solder this leads to a PCB I have designed months ago with ADV7125 DAC, to make some test before design the final PCB:
This is my car navi screen, it receives analog RGB input:
SOFTWARE PART:
I have built some Windows CE images for PXA270 development platforms, and I have one LCD DLL driver, from Toradex, that is able to make configurable all timings parameters through registry:
http://wiki.toradex.com/index.php/Display_driver_registry_settings
The user of this forum, pupakota (thanks again), helped me. He took the file, and insert it into the Windos mobile 6.1 ROM using something called "kitchen".
Then, I flashed my Asus with the modified rom, leave it to start, and connect to my pc using activesync. With RegEditor, I added the correct config into registry, and new DLL took this config after reset, result? Windows mobile 6.1 400x234 15.7khz 60hz:
(Colors are bad, clock valid edge stuff ... nothing important yet)
BUT, after 10 seconds of the start, it suddenly changes resoluntions and timings to 20.4khz hsync 79Hz vsync:
Please, need software help, what is happening here?? why the SO is "swaping" to another timings 10 seconds after the boot?
Thanks!!!
allright, pm sent, testrom soon. imho, cpu driver's getting into way(it may change lcd timings;/).
check cpu settings on all possible modes(avoid auto).
shame i cannot be there, i think i could help much faster then..

After head unit sleep in most cases LTE/4G connection gets not re-established and only a 2G connection is available. In other cases the head unit shows "No Sim" in status bar. *
My attached app LTErecover should fix this problem and restart the required services if there is no 4G connection after sleep mode.
(screenshot created on phone for better overview)
Looking forward to get feedback if it works on your Junsun V1 Pro, too.
Please don't just download the app. Share your experience so we can improve our Junsun head unit together.
* this may depend on your Sim card (provider) and/or the installed firmware

Attached version 1.3alpha.
- Changed reliability by directly stopping and starting the service instead of using properties
- Added delay option
- Changed app icon and UI
The version is marked as alpha and will display some toast messages which help me to test the app.
Looking forward to get your feedback! Especially if the delay is required and maybe wich value is best.
Attached version 1.4.1alpha to first post
- creates two launcher icons (one to start process, another one to show settings). This allows to use a launcher for autostart after sleep mode.
- stops and starts the services "vendor.ril-daemon-mtk" and "vendor.epdg_wod"
- delay before and during process can be set:
Start --> [delay] --> stop srv --> [delay] --> start srv
Feedback from Junsun:
Incompetent or lazy?!
Attached version 1.4.2alpha to first post
- Current connection type gets checked after initial delay. This prevents interruption of the connection in case a 4G connection gets established during waiting time.
Attached version 1.4.3alpha
- Improved reliability
- Typo corrected
Attached version 1.4.4alpha
- Improved reliability of command execution after sleep mode
- Changed default values to 0
Attached version 1.4.5alpha
- fixed app icons
- set default values to 15s / 3s
- click on image button of setting screen forces service restarts (even if connection is 4G) immediately (no initial delay). This allows to test the app.
- delay gets not ignored by process start via launcher icon. Important to note if app gets started via a launcher.
