French T9 library - HD2 General

Hi,
I'm using the french T9 library on my standard HD2 keyboard. The problem is that I find this library slightly corrupted and/or incomplete. Different errors exist:
- Sometimes words are proposed that don't exist in French.
- Sometimes the proposed words are "miss-spelled" (?)
- Sometimes the words I can chose from do not contain all combinations of accents
- other errors....
Where can I get a fresh and very complete library please ? And how do I install it ?
Thanks for your help!

Nobody has any idea on where to find a clean T9 French dictionnary (I've done a search in the forums but I could not identify anything) ?

French word completion - NOT french ROM

Can someone tell me if it is possible to install FRENCH word completion on my QTEK :?: I can keep english version of pocketpc 2002, but most of the text I input is french, so world completion is useless in 95% of time.
Thanx to all for any clues
Olivier.
I have a very similar problem: I have german ROM, but most of the time I have to enter english text.
I believe the localization is made by only a few files inside the windows folder. These are named "TranscriberGER", TranscriberDEU", "TranscriberFRE", TranscriberENG" or similar. I suspect they are actually located in ROM, because they do only show up in the directory when you view it from the device, not if you view them from your PCs desktop. Hmmm...
Martin
So has anyone a "TranscriberFRE" or something like this? I suppose the default dictionary can be changed in the registry .

HTC Album no text!

Hello,
Every time I try to install HTC Album, it doesn't show the text. (option text, etc..) its all blank. Everything work fine but there is no text.
Now that only happens when I install it. When it is installed within a ROM (Mary for example), it works just fine.
Any ideas to solve this problem??
Thank you.
you have to rename HTCAlbum.exe.0409.mui (in windows directory) to your language code -> HTCAlbum.exe.XXXX.mui (XXXX = the language code)
where can I find the language codes??
Edit: Never mind, I just found what I wanted Thanks.

Click to collapse
If you have a french OS the language code is 040C. For others I don't know.
An easy way to find it (but not the better) is to go in your Windows directory and search for a system file like "gwes.exe". You will find "gwes.exe.xxxx.mui" where xxxx is the language code you should apply.
Wonderfull help, but there some square instead of letters in the first menu (soft touch)

SIP Change

Hi,
I have SIP change installed on my HTC Touch. But when restart my phone there's comes a messaging like: "The file "sipchange" can not opened. It is not signed with a trusted certificate or one of the components isn't found. You must this file install again or recover if this problem repeated". I have installed it a few times again, but no result. Does anyone know what te problem is?
Thank you
When dealing with complex issues.
The best is to hard reset it.
I have this problem previously and hard reset does it.
PS: Backup before hard reset.
No, it was my rom That program is for an English rom. I'm from the Netherlands so my rom is Netherlands too. The path to the *.exe is different between English and Netherlands. Because it is an other languages.
Oh.
Is it a language pack or something?
You're inputing other languages into the phone right?
My rom is dutch. The program Sip change is a program to change my default keyboard. If i do a soft reset, then cames my standard keyboard back. With sip change you can change that keyboard to an another keyboard like PocketCM.
This program starts directly after starting up my mobile. But he can't find the program self in /Program files/Sipchange/sipchange.exe. In dutch, this path isn't te same as English. Because it is a different language. That's why he can't find the .exe. But now it's over because i know what te problem was
Srry if you don't understand me te last post I tried to speak so good as possible english
Its okay.
Thanks for sharing that to me.
Cheers.

[Q] SMS & Imput Tweaks request

Hello.
First of all can someone help me with a tutorial to eliminate and modify the languages in swype? i only need romanian language and the aplication with all the languages takes a lot of phone space. i have tried to make the .apk into a .zip and deleted the language files i did not need to use but the resulting .apk gave me an installation error. other people did this to make a swype.apk with their specific language, and i found an outdated version with romanian language but wish to update it to current version. I am sure i am not the only one to gain from this. the normal language version ocupies almost 14 mb.
Another big problem is that my language uses diacritical's (not shore if that is how to call them) "ş"â"î" and they are not that important but when i imput a word in the sms field the sms conuter goes from a limit of 160 characters to 70 characters, is there a setting in the phone to ignore this characters when sending the message and replace them with normal characters? (i saw once this option on other phones). another way to change this might be by simply opening the swype specific language file and replace-ing those characters with simple characters in every word, can that be done? can anyone help me and guide me on what programs should i use to make this modifications?
my headset is a htc Desire stock update with no root (wish to keep it that way)
Thankyou in advance. excuse my english language skills
