hello.. please help me..
i need to revert back my x960 to wm6.1 or upgrade to stable one of wm6.5, since me using wm6.5 (build 21869).. my acer got many problem.. like, stuck on sms, cant turn off (event i tapped Yes, but just nothing happen..) and the latest one, its sleep like it was turn off..
help me. most like provided, broken..
i try to revert back but when i follow the steps untill appear some number before it say "waiting for downloading", my acer Blank.. i'd tried many time.. but still the same.. so, i cant revert back.. please!

I guess you need to go to the acer thread or another forum based on acer devices. lets wait if somebody else have another answer.

I haven't used my Touch HD in a very long time and when I turn it on now (dont remember what happened) it says upgrade ROM code error please try again. Does HTC have an upgrade for it? I live in the US and their site doesn't show anything about the phone, used europe site but gave me a no updates for that serial number. I am guessing that a stock ROM from HTC would fix this problem as the phone is not unlocked.

If you receive "Upgrade ROM code error" then you will need to flash original stock rom which was on your device, i.e. not any stock rom but the original one. Your original stock rom should flash whether it says 'usb' or 'serial' at bottom of bootloader.

Did you follow this guide and put either USPL or HSPL on your device first?
Before flashing anything, its always best to read the stickies (thread stuck at top of each forum which provide guides, references etc). My advice would be to read this

what u have done plz tell and which rom u have flashed.
read guide and FAQ in upgrading section.

I am a regular flasher of the ROMs here!
I have faced the issue since some 3 weeks now!
No particular change except tons of ROM changes!
I thought initially, there might be some problem or issue that I have developed thr some mods in the reg-editor.
So I reflashed, and flashed again!
But I see the problem is there and is fairly random!
Though the link I feel is there is with browser use!, whenver I use any browser, its more frequent in occurence.
Anybody has a fix yet?

My Htc Touch/elf on switching on shows a black screen with text "smart phone". it happened after the phone got accidently locked and a friend of mine tried to flash it.

First, Sorry for my bad english.
Now my problem;
I upgraded my omnia2 using pcstudio and now i have a lot of problems. The phone is amzingly slow and the "cube" button dont work, main meny is missing and so on...
Can i get back the older verision i had befor?
If i try to "restore" it from pcstudio i get message "the device already got the latest update" and then nothing happens.
I got mail from samsung and they say i got the 6,5,3 upgrade so they want me to send my phone in for service but i dont like to do that, i think it will take a few weeks...

Wich country do you come from?
Second: Its absolutely no problem, to get back to an older version. Do you know, which version was installed before? Or do you want to try last semi-official release of Samsung build in May with WM6.5 in it?

I´m from Finland but i got swedish language on my phone.
I´m not sure what i hade before but i will try to find it, i made a backup-file so it should be save on my computer so i will try find it.
My phone is just 4 weeks old and it was the only update i have done.
But i think it was the last semi-official release of Samsung build in WM6,5 and i liked it better whit the "cube-button-funktion" and the "main meny" that you can scroll from side-to-side.

Latest WM6.5ROM is JE2(there is an JF1 out but I haven´t tested it).
Was the JD3Update original Samsung PCStudio update????

Note: If you are using Windows7 or Vista, you need different drivers! Just search @ modaco and you will find everything!

Flashing is very easy, you just have to do everything step by step. If you use a good dictionary you will understand everything. If there is something you don´t get, just ask!

Hello I searched all over for something like what happened to me but i didn't find anything. I bought my LG gt540 in Italy, I tried to update at the android 2.1 with the LG software but at the end of the update my phone is loading, I can hear the sound of the phone loading but nothing shows up on the display. My screen is blue.
I tried to flash it again with the v20a, v20b with KDZ UPDT but nothing is solving the situation.
I live in the USA and they already told me that they don't provide any kind of support for this phone because is not sold in the USA.
What can I do?

I tried the update with 1notebook win 7 32bits,1 with 7 64bits, 1 with XP pro (but modded version called ICE).

Just want to share bout my experience... i forgot what my firmware ver was when my gt540 still in donut (android 1.6), but then the first eclair came (baltic rom v20b) then i applied it.
After awhile a rom with my country language came, but the version is v20a.. i tried to apply it, but always get error.i tried another rom (same ver v20a), and get Linux Kernel Panic.. dont know how to fix it (cant even go to download mode), brought it to lg service centre.. only took them 20 mins to fix that, and i look the firmware ver was v20b with my country language. So i guess the ver really matter..

well, when you bring this kind of phones in a LG center they flash it with a box, not with the software we use...I did it like job for so many years. The problem is that here in the USA nobody has this boxes because little stores that fix phones or customer centers are not existing. The LG told me that they don't support it here in USA because they don't sell it here and then they have no idea about how to fix it. If I was in Italy I was fixing in 20 mins too but the thing is that the versions that for right now I tried...don't work, 20a,20b.
What other versions could I try?
I have some news. The phone works and I understood what that is.
When is loading the android, is showing nothing but the blue screen...no logo in the boot etc etc...
The phone will stay like that until the key lock is not kicking in putting the phone in standby...When that happen i have to push the power on like if I want to turn on the display to use the phone normally and...like magic...everything show up again.
What could that be? and how can i fix this?...seems to me the boot loader but I'm not sure.

that's exactly the way i flashed my phone but i can't solve the problem of the standby...I resetted everything but nothing seems to solve this little problem.
