Database Users

your OPERATOR LOGO free on your MAGICIAN

Hi,
Many of us have a Magician or Blueangel or Himalaya devices branded for O2, or T-mobile........ but only few of us really have these carriers. I would like to build a database of logos, that you could simply copy to your /Windows directory, rename the file to carrierlogo.gif and when you press the Phone button, the logo of your operator appears on the display. (Make sure the file is read-only.)
I upload a few link below (for Belgium operator)
Images must be GIFs, 120x20 pixels.

It seems to work fine on my Jam. The only problem is that this logo covers up the true network display, so if you stay within your network all the time, or don't care what network you are on, then the logo is cute. If you travel to other countries and need to know what network you've been logged on to, it is not that great of an idea because the network display is covered by "carrierlogo.gif".

Oupsssssssss I guess I saved the wrong version.
OK fix it, you can DL now it is 120 x 20

In french device, can we find a 'carrierlogo.gif' or it's a different name ?

I found the Vodafone dialer but now need the today screen (the grey one with the map of the world imprinted in the background)

[All Devices] HTC Settings Wizard

The HTC Settings Wizard is a desktop application which automatically configures the correct GPRS/3G/MMS settings on your mobile.
It was avaible on the HTC eClub website but unfortunately it's been removed.

How to install:

2. Make sure your mobile is connected via Active Sync/Mobile Device Center
3. Start the application and choose the provider of your choice
4. Installation on your mobile is automated (kinda )
Settings can be removed via "Remove Programs"

Confirmed working on:
- HTC S620, WM 6 (country: Germany, provider: Eplus)
- HTC P4350, WM6 (country: Germany, provider: Eplus)
Since the S620 is a smartphone and them P4350 is a touchscreen based device, I guess the wizard should work on any device.
Anyways... it'd be nice if somebody could try the wizard on a WM 5 based device. Just to make sure it's working

you know HTC does make a little app called network commander
yeah...and there's a cab installer and everything...does it right from you phone...you should google it...or better yet search XDA...u'll find it...yah

[Q] Debrading without Y-cable/other tehcnical stuff?

Hello,
I very close to bying a HTC Trophy from Amazon . de (vodafone branding) as the price is only 180 euro!!
But when i get it, I want to get rid of the Vodafone branding. I've read alot about debranding/unbranding, but it still seems a bit techinal.
Is there a simpel way to debrand this HTC Trophy? I dont own a Y-cable and stuff like that...
Perhabs i need i simpel step by step toturial?
