just curious, can the tilt2/tp2 capable to run animated backgrounds? if so, are their any links? i've looked, but didn't see anything for our phones..

yes, it can run animated backgrounds seeing as some are included in ROMS such as the energy ROM; where you get them from, i have no idea.

I haven't seen those animated backgrounds, unless you are referring to the startup animations, or the weather animations in Sense. But those are not the background pictures.
would you be referring to animated today? if so, yes it can be run...though it eats up memory as well as the battery like crazy.

sure you can load pre-loaded animatated wallpaper perfectly, they located in device\my documents\my wallpaper
also you can make your own animated wallpaper

I don't think it's one background. There are programs that can change your wallpaper based on time of day, I think that's what you see.

It's the glass clock from Manilla Customizer. The tool for changing the clock is attached to this post. I also attached a package with extra clocks. The glass clock is included in that package(Clocks need to be placed in the Manilla Customizer installation map). More packages for Manilla Customizer can be found here.

Have been a Touch Diamond 2 user with a recent Sense flashed ROM from the LEO and previously have been on a SE Xperia.
I'm now making the move into the world of the HD2 and have a question.
Is it possible to change the home-screen wallpaper and still have the nice weather animation?

As far as i know till now...nope. But i am 100% sure that in the future someone will tweak the HD2, just wait for the custom roms

The screenshot is self-explaining and in the video you can see that there is a different background but still with weather animations on top of it.

Isn't that one of the built-in wallpapers though? I was under the impression that if you set it to anything else you'd lose the weather. That's certainly the way it appears to work with the Leo ROMs I've been running on my X1.
Using manila v 2.5.1920 (which comes in stock LEO rom) it allows you to select any static wallpaper you wish and it will apply the weather animations over the top.
You just select weather wallpaper, it then loads your album to let you select the wallpaper picture you desire.
This works fine on my own cooked blackstone ROM using packages from LEO shipped

Thanks for the simple explanation! I needed to do this for the cooked SSS rom r2 which is derived from LEO.
Does anyone know where the sense weather wallpaper is located? I'm trying to find the image file for the black carbon one so I can use it as my s2u2 wallpaper....
