Hey folks!!
I´m terribly searching for a google stock calendar *.apk (checked the XDA search, google...sadly with no success).
...I switched from Biffmod to MDJ Desire HD and now I´m missing the native nice/simple/white google calendar...really don´t like the HTC Sense alternative
Is there a possibility to get the old (Nexus?) calendar back?
what you can do is to download the google apps of Cyanogen, it includes the Calendar app.

Where can I get these cyanogen apps? I can´t find them on android market and even here on xda´s i can´t find such standalone-apps (apart from cyanogen-mod threads)...

As I wrote in the 1st thread, I´m on MDJs Froyo HD 4.3 now (HTC HD2!)...which version do I have to install?
Hello all,
Can someone help me?
I have a custom ROM flashed in my HTC desire Z and now i;m wondering how i can go back to the original ROM.
My phone had a Dutch ROM and I am unable to find the Stock ROM.
For so far I can see there is nothing on the HTC site and also on this forum i couldn't find anything
Am I missing something or isn't there a Dutch Stock ROM for the HTC Desire Z (not Branded)??
If there are any questions plz ask them.
Greetz Robin
As far as i understand.
There is a european stock version. And that holds the dutch language. That is my understanding but i could be wrong
Via HTC Desire Z
thats correct, on my dutch DZ from Vodafone the standard WWE rom was installed.
now running Vision unity though..
Thanks for the reply.
Does someone have a link to that ROM?
Thanks Robin

Hi Robin,
I'm in the same situation: I have a dutch (unbranded) HTC Desire Z running Cyanogenmod 7.0.3. As HTC is currently pushing Gingerbread images I'm interested in going back to the stock firmware. Can you tell me which image you used?
My only worry is that I won't be able to reflash to Cyanogenmod, because I assume they didn't root this image yet?
Thanks for your reply,
Maarten
The best way to get your phone back to stock is to use the htc RUU.exe files.
You can find all of them here.
http://shipped-roms.com/index.php?category=android&model=Vision
I hope this helps. As i had the same issue.
I had a partial brick, and with one of the World wide edition roms was able to recover my device back to stock.
Let me know if you need some help with a tut for this

Hye Maarten,
If you want to flash cyanogenmod, Use an ruu.exe file to flash you DZ back to an earlier rom. This works coming from any rom.
I would suggest usinghttp://shipped-roms.com/download.php?category=android&model=Vision&file=RUU_Vision_HTC_WWE_1.34.405.4_Radio_12.28b.60.140e_26.03.02.24_M_release_155297_signed.exe
this is a world wide edition that i use to flash back to stock froyo to be able to root my device. I hope this helps ;D

Thanks, but I'm already running Cyanogenmod and I want to go back to the stock firmware (just like the topic starter). However, your link to shipped-roms.com is very valuable, thanks for that!

You should try powering off (battery pull) hold the volume down rocker and then the power button and scroll down to factory reset, let me know what happens

Umm... I can tell you what will happen, it will erase all userdata, and then possibly stick at the white htc screen. I wouldn't recomend doing this until you have a rom to flash

Being Cool from my HTC G2 running CM7
I have used the following ROM to flash it back to stock if I remember correctly:
RUU_Vision_HTC_WWE_1.72.405.2_Radio_12.28e.60.140f_26.04.02.17_M2_release_160660_signed.exe
I have had alot of trouble to get the S=off back to S=on, eventually i succeded but to succed i had to flash my device mutiple times with different ROMs, therefor I cant be completely sure that i used this ROM.
Hopefully this information is useful.

Hello Everyone,
I saw people asking about Hebrew fix for the AWESOME Android Revolution HD Rom,
so I compiled a fix from a script This Guy made.
For the official thread of the ROM here's a link.
And for the the fix to flash AFTER you flash the room AND boot it.
Downloads:
Current Version:
ARHD 7.3: HebFix_Android_Revolution_HD_v7.3_Fonts.zip.
ARHD 9.0: HebFix_Android_Revolution_HD_v9.0_Fonts.zip.
Older Versions:
ARHD 7.0.x: HebFix_Android_Revolution_HD_v7.0.x_Fonts.zip.
ARHD 6.3.x: HebFix_Android_Revolution_HD_v6.3.x_Fonts.zip.Enjoy.
*Note:
For some reason the Hebrew locale option is not available in Settings>Language and Keyboard>Select Language, there is a way to change this with this app https://market.android.com/details?id=jp.co.c_lis.ccl.morelocale.
Just Select custom locale and write iw and then IL.
And if you like to thank the guy that made the script Donate him.
Thanks
I'll try it our thanks man!!

Hey,
I flashed your fix for 6.2 ARHD, and the fonts look nice, I think the ones on the other fix were actually nicer, but doesn't really matter.
Anyway, the pull to the right side works on the SMS and on Gmail, but not on all the widgets like people widget, Calender widget, but does work on others like Gtasks and Go SMS widgets.
Thanks for your hard work

If you have the fonts that you need you can just download the zip file and replace the fonts in the /system/fonts folder.
And don't forget to delete the other folders so it will not do the RTL fix (/system/framework and /system/lib).
And in anycase do a nanodroid backup first, who knows what could happen.
Hope this will help you

Hey Omriabu1
Did you change anything dramatic in the V.6.3.1 ?
I flashed the one for 6.2..0, over mike's 6.3.1 version and so far it works pretty well.
Question is do you think it would cause issues, an if so, would simply flashing your recent work just resolve it?
BTW thanks a lot for releasing updates and staying on top of things, your doing a great service

Actualy I don't think there is not much difference between the two versions because it's Basicly the same base, but I just wanted to be on the safe side and recompile the fix using the files from the new ROM.
Anyway if it's working for you now I don't think there will be any problem with it later on but you can flash on top of it the new version if you like.
And don't worry about the updates I'm a user myself so I just upload what I'm using

Installed on Virtuous Affinity 2.0.5 and confirm that the patch works and solves some issues, for instance in Waze roads numbers are finally shown in correct manner, i.e. like 123 instead of 321 as it was before. Thank you very much!
The only remaining problem after the patch was installed is Music application that doesn't show albums/songs/singers names in Hebrew fonts, but uses default locale fonts (Russian in my case). If somebody can help to solve this last problem it will be greatly appreciated.

Well the fix should work on every rom from the same android build on theory.
But I used the files from the ARHD Rom so I just wanted to be safe, because I don't know if the original file was change in other roms.

Just like the thread stated. Or is there another apk that is is TW based that somewhat resembles ... I absolutely hate the stock tw phone dialer. Is it possible to install a AOSP phone apk on the note 3 tw rom? I have tried several different times with another roms apk's and it is always a fail.
What I ended up trying was taking the phone and contacts apk from eclipse rom and froze both of them in Ti backup and then installed them (fail). I also uninstalled both of them and installed the others (again fail). Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Any reason why you don't want to just run eclipse rom?

This is actually a port for the M9?. But it works with any Sense 7/8 device. Make sure that you are using a Sense ROM, not a CyanogenMod/Lineage/Vanilla ROM, because it will not work. Also make sure that you are running on Android 7.0.

That's also a problem on the U Ultra, HTC needs to fix it. I've tried tweaking the build.prop file but it doesn't make any difference.
not working
Yeah I installed the companion when it was released as standalone but it doesn't do a while lot...Bit disappointed. I figured it was because it's not the phone it came out for but guess I'm not the only one. I'll try this and see if it different somehow.
