Annoying Random Vibrations - HD2 General

I get these annoying random vibrations all the time, apparently for no reason, nothing is going on, no sync no alerts ... but the phone keeps vibrating three times from time to time.
Any ideas?

[SOLVED] ROM Vibrates Randomly

As soon as rom boots up and and begins the customizations, it will vibrate 3 times in succession. Then occassionally during usage it will vibrate 3 times again. Any ideas?
Have you cooked in WMLongLife? That's the only thing I can think of that does that... By default, it vibrates when switching networks I think. That's changeable though.

Tablet keeps turning on after I turn it off?

Every time I turn off my tablet, the next time I go to use it, it's already on.
Anyone have any suggestions? Is this something that other people are experiencing?
Thanks!
Never experienced that
I don't know, My first N7 is faulty but not that bad, maybe your tablet is reading your mind and it turns on when your thinking about using it?
How are you turning it off? Tapping the power button only turns off display.

That's weird. Are you rooted? Running a rom? On stock? Some additional details would be helpful to solve your problem.

It's clearly haunted.
Or an app is waking it up to sync / find location / steal and transmit your data.
Have you tried running Avast ? Locking all the running apps ?

quite strange..
I don't believe apps can turn it on when it's off..so if you turn your N7 off, your alarm is disabled. at least, I'm pretty sure of that.
And, so you watch it turn off all the way? And later on it's on?
Is it plugged in to the charger?
Have you ever watched it for a little while [while you were doing something else, just glancing at it once in a while] to see if it just randomly turns on?

I'm pretty sure that I turn my N7 off at night and the alarm wakes me up in the morning.

really? but how does that work?
that means the clock app must be able to control the rtc hardware, and tell it to power up at a certain time... I didn't know they'd done that on the N7...

Calendar -> Settings -> General Settings -> uncheck Notifications
It's a shot in the dark but who knows..
Or I suppose if you like you could disable calendar sync in Accounts & Sync, and then erase Calendar's data.

I'd love to know this as well, my International S2 was never able to do this with the stock clock app which is a PITA.

Erm.... Just a thought.....excuse me for been so way out there with this but keep with me here.....
How about setting your alarm on your phone for 2 minutes from now.... then, wait for it.... switch your phone off and see what happens in 2 minutes?
lol, I don't own one yet. I'm still on the fence about buying one or maybe waiting to see what the mysterious XFON will be like if it ever comes out.

I've done that when my phone was in ICS 4.0.3 and even now on 4.0.4 and it doesn't work. I even did it again, as in just now and set it for 2 minutes but 5 minutes has passed and the phone doesn't alarm on. Yes, I'm still in ICS because I'm still waiting for the official push to JB in my country.
Well I tried on I9500 and it does not work
Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of turning the phone off?
If you need it to be off, instead,,turn off the radio (airplane mode).

Red flashing while device is on...

So I've found a lot of threads about red flashing notification light while trying to boot up... however I am getting the red notification light rapidly flashing while my device is on and idle, and seams to be ok. As soon as I hit the power and wake it up, it stops flashing. Battery is at 78%, wifi and cell signal are registering. As far as I can tell, everything seems ok. I'm just wondering if anyone has had this happen before, or what might be causing it? My Nexus 4 is not rooted and is stock.

I don't think that's it. I only have a few apps on it atm, and none of them have a setting for notification light. Also it happens everytime it goes to sleep now and has been to sleep for awhile. When I wake it up, it stops, and there is no notifications in the notification shade. Really confused by this, heh.

Missed Alarm

Hello,. I have a stock Moto g5 plus that keeps missing Alarms. They simply do not go off constantly. Sometimes I get a notification of a missed Alarm. I rebooted several times. Deleted and recreated alarms, cleared the cache from the app and in recovery.
Help.

Have you tried increasing the alarm volume to the max?
Is your Clock app updated?
Is your speaker working?
Have you checked the alarm tone?

It is not a question of volume. The alarm is flat not going off. Even the OS will notice this as after the alarm as passed but failed to ring I often get a "MIssed Alarm" notification in the notifications pull down. It is as if the alarm app is being killed in the background.

Did this and it seemed to fix it until this morning. Right now I have a notification of an "Upcoming Alarm" at 06:30 am. And the time is 7:05. The alarm never went off.

I dont think that will be required for stock clock app. This should be handled automatically.

I've not done a factory reset yet. Gonna wait until the weekend to do that. Resets are such a PITA.

DUDEEEE....I literally have this exact same problem randomly!!!! This pisses me off so much, in fact....so much it led me right to this forum! This morning I just experienced the exact same thing, I randomly woke up at 6:00AM to my phone saying "upcoming alarm 4:45AM", and then the second I swipe the notification in anger, it says "missed alarm". This is very annoying because I've never had a cell phone make me late for my job so many times before. This has to be the 5th time this has happened in the 1.5 years I've owned the phone. Being late for your job is never good, let alone how dumb you sound saying "my phone didn't wake me up"....well thanks Motorola! Ill be rooting very soon to do a custom ROM/Kernel, sick of this ****.
Have you found a fix at all?
I had to nuke the phone. Factory Reset fixed it for now.
install alarmy, you won't miss any alarms..

Never had this issue... I use the alarm religiously, had same ones set since Sept last year, never factory reset once and it has never missed an alarm.
Start with making sure all alarms are using included sounds and not custom ones, then try wiping cache partition, and if that fails factory reset...

If my phone gets factory reset, it's to unlock the bootloader, not get my morning alarm working again... I'm using the default alarm ringtone on full volume. My fiance had convinced me in the past I was probably sleeping through them... But now I know!!! ? I'm not relying on this stock rom to wake me up ever again. I'll be relying on the fiance's pixel for now. Sad lol

Try clearing the cache partition... It's something I do every couple months.
