10. Even with the new features, the ROM is almost 2mb smaller!
11. 100% awake time issue fixed (because it's now based directly on DamageControl, thank damageless for this)
12. No more aosp usb icon, oops. I think this is because of a file replaced to fix the lockscreen

ok ill look into that thanx , im still trying to learn i guess ill have to research that ,, also ,, are u having power down issues? im finding that when i fix the wi-fi , powerdown dont work

ya ... It doesn't power down, but I actually use boot control ...even on roms where power down works, as i just prefer it ....makes everything easier

i put up a new link with quickboot for the power down issue , and added face book ,, still cant sync fb for some reason tho ,,, also fixed su force close, by enable debugging automaticlly ,, thanx to rvpartsguy , cuz i didnt even realize the problem

all this porting is good and all, but copying and pasting in a paragraph format is a bit tedious..
how about adding your own flare to it..and maybe a screen shot or 2?
just my 2 cents!

sorry , about that , and as far as adding flare ,, u mean add things to it ? if so im tryin to learn how to do this and i thought if i put it up so people can use and do what ever with it ,i wont put anything up until i can do something like that then ,, first i have to figure out y everytime i fix the wi- fi i cant power down

I'm proud to present a CyanogenMod Rom on the Eris, White Widow, ported from DarchDroid by Darchstar.
Cant shut me down
This is only a beta, and therefore has a few issues to work out. the main one is the boot. As of beta 3, you have to flash it over either a nand backup of 3.1 or the actual flash of 3.1. I am not allowed to distribute 3.1 anymore, so for those of you who didnt get it earlier im sorry, do not flash as it will bootloop your phone. also to those who do have 3.1, DO NOT WIPE! Wiping will also cause a bootloop.
To fix the no service bug, download the attatched zip, and exctact the build.prop to your sdk/tools
run these command to pop it back into place

Stripped down,very limited release. Just wanted to give you a small taste of what I've been working on. This is far from being the final release, but I promised a sneak peek. So far it is functioning and stable.
WORKING FB INTEGRATION
GPS
You must install googleshits to use anything than the other basic functions. Save the file to your SD card, boot to recovery and flash the googleshits .zip file like you would flash anything else. it is an update script.
For those interested in DarchStars new kernel with BrainFuck Scheduler- First Ever Release On Eris! -download and flash the update zip included at the bottom. No wipe needed.
I encourage you to look through the settings for all the new options, things like integrated wired tethering, setting custom messages on your lock screen, and 360 degree rotation are all under there, theres too many new things to post though so take a look and see what you find.

really, you had to ask that. no this is for root only
when there is something for those on leak, you will be told about it. it will be plastered on the front page of this section with a million links from others like you asking.
and no, there is still no root for leakers.

Running cyanogen on my droid, wont give up for nothing (but froyo). If you guys want to test a rom, try one based on cyanogen (wait for wifi fix)

i am not good at this type of stuff ...so i always look for the easy way out ....
so I changed it with T2noobs font changing script ... not sure if he has it posted on xda or AF ... but I use it alot to change fonts ...just a thought

Every Time I flash this ROM I am in a boot loop. It won't load the system Im stuck at the guy stomping on the other guys head.

I've had mine stuck on the bootscreen for about 20 minutes with another damage based rom. You can tell its a bootloop if the screen goes black for a second and then switches back to the boot screen.

I'm sorry if anyone is haven bootloop problems, as stated above the only time u will have that issue is if u didn't wipe everything and u were using a2sd ,thanx rvpartsguy for pointing that out, I put full wipe in the op I should have stated that also I believe I saw that b4 in the hero thread

I would probably just leave the choice to the person installing your rom.... as I use Titanium all my stuff goes back automatically .... but if not one of the first things I would download is an alternative browser ... in which I still use xScope
...so i would uninstall whichever ones I was not using ..... just my thoughts

finished flashing, and so far so good. downloaded apps in the market with no problem, no force closes yet.

thanx for the feedback, does any1 know if bluetooth works? i dont have a way to test it

Hey guys. I noticed a few of you were having some issues with downloading from Megaupload. I thought I would be nice and upload it to another site to provide some more access to everyone. Sometimes if there are a lot of people downloading the same file, it bogs it down. Also, if you don't have a premium account, then you can only download one at a time. I know you are impatient to try this rom out too, so in light of all that:

Perfect timing. I just rooted my wife's phone and was about to install some other rom, but if cm6 is right around the corner I will gladly wait for that.

well besides the issue thats being worked on its seems to be more stable ( besides the camera ) and that annoyin dim light is fixed , no more haven to disable automatic brightness

it seems its not picking up the radio so u cant access the internet
i thought it my phone , cuz again its not activated , but i guess not
its gunna be a little longer, now i wish i asked before i posted this lol
im gunna update the kitchen to the one where u can add a radio to see if that fixes it
