I've noticed that on Magic, too.
I like to use the on screen keys. I figured out how to disable the softkeys but can't figure out how to disable the backlight for the softkeys. Would anyone happen to know how?
Thanks!
In settings, go to the "My device tab", then select Display. Under "Touch key light duration" you should be able to set that to "Always off"
Hope this helps.

I've been using this since I got my GPE S4. This and added on-screen keys. MUCH better.
Hey everyone! Got my G2 today. Got it rooted in like 5 mins. Almost done setting it up. One thing I can not seem to make work is Lightflow. It's kinda weird I've done everything I normally do. It's set up the same way as my Nexus 4. LED is enabled. I've tried unchecking all the stock system LED'S etc. Stock works. I've Googled it already and it doesn't seem like any kind of known issue. Accessibility is turned on. Root enabled. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I love Lightflow.

Yes, it does work. However, it took a while for me to figure out the proper configuration. You must leave the G2's stock LED notifications enabled, but disable all the individual apps/notifications (incoming call, missed call, etc) except for the one labeled "Downloaded apps" (make sure that one is enabled/ticked).
In Lightflow's settings, have "root mode", and "Run in foreground" enabled. Seems that "Nexus 5 force LED reset" is enabled by default, so I left that alone. "Reduce wake" is optional...seems to work either way.
For some apps to work properly (Like Facebook Messenger) you must have "Accessibility Services" enabled for Lightflow as well.
I think that should do it.

This seems reasonable enough. The only question I have is that I don’t see a "downloaded apps" option under the LED settings "see screenshot" is it located somewhere else?

Hmm, well I'm on the Verizon variant, so maybe that option isn't available on yours...? It's underneath the other notifications...
Maybe try some of these troubleshooting steps.

Dang. Have you been updated, or was it that way from the beginning? I'm on the T-Mobile variant. Thanks for the help anyway. Maybe someone else will chime in on this too.

On the latest JB update. Not sure if it was that way before the update, since I did the update the day I got the phone (before rooting or installing any apps).
Hopefully someone else can help you.
Hello, I'm in stock unrooted Android n preview 3. It appears that notifications that come from the same app, when I have left another notifications sitting there, will be overridden and disappear.
This is a big problem for me, as I use cloudmagic to track multiple tasks that pop up for me, and I let them sit there. Sometimes I'll have 10 notifications at once that I need to get to. Is there a way to override this behavior that I missing? Sorry if this is already been answered, I did do a search and was unable to come up with any results
Thank you in advance for your help.

I haven't tried N, so unfamiliar on how the notifications display but the best bet would be to contact the app developer and explain.
AFAIK or understand by a quick search, the behavior is controlled by the app calling the same tag/id with different notification parameters which will overwrite the previous one.
Also have you tried any of the notification managers on play? Could be an easy work around or easier to manage.

I did contact the app developer and explained exactly what you said previously. They are blaming it on N. I told them they need a unique intent for each call. They didn't respond.
Can't use a third party notification manager because of special features within the cloud magic reminders

Hi,
I have been experiencing slow notifications on my S8 ever since I bought it, specifically with apps like Twitter and Skype. After research, I tested turning off the app power monitor, but that did not help. Then, I tried disabling the google app and the problem was fixed. However, I do use the google app on a regular basis so I would like to find a different way to fix the problem. I have also tried a phone reset with no results.
Thanks in advanced for any help!

Go really if that works by stopping the google application.
I have it like that, but there are many other things that I lose when I deactivate that function, for example the dictation to google voice, a function that is widely used by me.
I read that Nougat did not pass.
Amazing that there is no solution to this. There is no other solution?
