I cant seem to find it. All im finding are roms that require me to root my phone. I really dont want to root my phone so if someone could help me by pointing me in the right direction for the froyo update for non rooted phones i will be extremely greatful, thank you!

You can't, although there is something similar to it called adw launcher, not as good but still, pretty nice.

Helix launcher is also pretty good. Requires Android 2.1 though.

because i see you can download the 2.2 firmware from there plus its got a guild to install.

yes mate head over to the development section of this phone forum and you'll even see some custom roms for 2.2 that are out. all the info you want is in there.

I'm running XXJP3 Froyo - it has lots and lots of bugs and in my experience unusable without editing build.prop (which needs root)
I'm sitting tight for the final golden Froyo release which should be end of September.

I am looking for people who know what they are doing and want to make a rom with me. If you are interested in doing this with me please pm me and i will respond. I dont really know where to start with a rom so i need people who know how to do the technical stuff. I am hoping to make a pretty kick ass rom. Please pm me if interested!!!!!!

Ummm...
You want to make a ROM with people. But you want people to do the technical stuff. Sounds like you don't know how to do it, and just want someone to do it, while you get your name involved. Seems like you need to spend a LOT of time reading stickies and guides, and then re-reading them. Then reading other ones. Then re-reading those again. Then re-reading them. Then... (you get the picture)...
You're going to get flamed a lot, I would imagine, so I'll close this.
Making a ROM is about reading for several weeks or months, then practising for several weeks or months. Don't expect to be releasing a ROM soon. And remember there's a good incentive here to learn properly - it's your device you'll be testing it on first...

I have poked around in system root attempting to find the file that triggers the volume warning without any success so I have come here to ask for help. If anyone knows how to disable this annoying warning please tell me. I cant express to you how much this warning bothers me! I wish it was more simple !!!
I think reflashing my rom just for the volume warning is a bit too much.... on the other side I tried decompile - recompile but thats too hard for me !!!
Plus I'm on Rogers and its not the same rom...

Why do you want to root it? In general, you shouldn't root if you have no reason to.
Generally speaking, head units are pretty hard to root. But you do not provide more info about it, so it is hard to say if it would be possible.
I want to root this to improve it, but i have no idea how to, is android 6 api 23?
