Best hero rom for magic 32a

What is best hero rom (bt an led works, no lag) for 32a??

In my opinion it's the 'eVilHero' with 'TigerTaels' kernel and his audiofix.

can you give me a link, please?

I thought that evil's was only 32b. If not, please enlighten us.

That would be good... I tryed to figured out how to install that rom using tigertaels kernel patch but with no succes =(... I get a little bit confused...

I'm at the phone so you guys have to find 'TT's' thread yourselves.
Just download the 'EvilHero' rom to your sd card the same with 'TT's' Hero kernel and his audiofix. Boot up your recovery and wipe, then flash the rom and then directly after without a reboot flash the kernel and then the audiofix, but that is not necessary for the rom to function.
I will make a better 'tut' when I get home with proper links.

Believe it does. At least the videos I've seen on Youtube got multitouch with a HTC Hero ROM.

This is by far the fastest, most stablr Hero ROM. I tried Evils and it has some bugs that need to be ironed out.

What?! Cyanogen 6 on MT4G already?

Yea, woke up today to find mt4g on clockwork recovery and kmobs twitter pic of a booted, yet very broken cm6. Thus begins the flashwars! All during the black ops release lol.

I'm so ready for this.
I'm permrooted, have custom recovery installed, made a nandroid backup, now all I need is this.
Waiting patiently.......

Amazing news, hopefully they remap the Genius button to Search in that rom.

This right here is one of the reasons im getting rid of my vibrant.

Would the kernel source for the mt4g be required to get C6 running? Or, would it be required in order to run C6 optimally?

You use kernel source in order to compile a new kernel, although you can still create modded ROMS that use the stock kernel, and you can also create kernel modules to add functionality, until you have access to kernel source.

Is that why we don't have overclock ability yet. The G2 processor is kicking our buts. (Keeping it P.G.)

this is what i was waiting for...had CM on my original mytouch, moved up to the 4g and have been waiting...

Definitely excited for this! I'm no sense hater but it is no CM for sure.

I would love to see some customized build for this thing that would keep some of the Espresso things or, better yet, keep HTC framework optimized with CM goodies. This way we can just push things we like to it.

[REQ] Legend to Slide Froyo AND sense?

Since the HTC legend recently got Android 2.2 Froyo w/ sense, is there going to be someone to port the rom to the Slide?
I love the functionality of sense but I don't want to have to downgrade to eclair to get it.
So if anybody knows about work being done on that or if someone wants to volunteer, please inform me and anyone else who passes by this thread

Its gonna have the same problems as the 3rd sense rom because we don't have the official 2.2 kernel for mytouch slide! Which means I don't think anyone is going to port it! Check out 3rd sense though its stable enough and is the same sense ui

yep, and actually i think 3rd sense is based on a froyo sense rom for the legend called gratiend so thats your rom right there, at least thats what the credits on the thread say..

I am currently running cyanogen mod 6.1 stable for my slide with clockwork recovery. Do I need to flash/install anything else before flashing this rom?

Nope, all you need to do is a wipe before installing it so you dont get any weird errors

Okay thanks I will flash it, froyo aside, are there any REALLY good stable sense roms out there? Not espresso roms but original HTC sense? flash would be nice

this one has flash lite as well... and as far i know this is the best sense based rom you can find for the slide go ahead try it and tell us what you think

Oh man it works amazingly, I had to disable javascript for the browser to run alright though. Otherwise it is an amazing rom. I ran into some less than polite stuff when I posted in the thread, but I suppose I am a noob. Thanks for the suggestion.

Why froyo?? Jump to Gingerbread .. Our Heroe's can run gingerbread thanks to the lovely Dev's and there's two of them ( infact 4 in total ) you can try out in the development section .. check them out

Just Replace Ur Recovery to RA 's one andthen Flash Ur Rom

Actually I prefer Froyo, but only because it's alot smoother. I dunno about benchmarks and stuff, but it does run more smooth than any of the Gingerbread roms I've tried.
Though if you can survive with a little bit of stuttering, go TastyGinger (by RaDuG) or Elelinux' Gingerbread. If you want Froyo, I strongly recommend Cyanogen 6.1.

Ok so at the moment i have froydvillain which is ok but am looking to use cyanogen mod. I installed the file (update-cm-6.1.0-rc1-hero-signed.zip) on my htc hero and it worked perfect except the rom didnt have a market for buying apps? Anyone know why or how to get it?

may be a dumb questions, but can another ROM be flashed over the updated GB ROM? for instance, if i flashed the GB ROM, can I flash MikShift over it? or will that just take me back to 2.2 with MikShift?

It will take you back to Froyo 2.2.
Mikshift is a 2.2 Sense based rom.
And This is 2.3.3 Gingerbread

Dumb question: Why not ask this in the thread dedicated to the very same topic where all the people who are actually using it are idling?

i installed the new leaked rom and it worked great for me, i haven't had any problems with it and yes i also flashed the new radio........did anyone notice the kingdom port is almost done, i can't wait its gonna be a sweet rom

are there any kernels available for the gb leak?? and i saw some people got the lockscreen 3.0 installed. Could some one post some instructions on how to do that! thanks!

To install the 3.0 Lockscreen you need to be on MikShifted G (http://www.themikmik.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=178&t=940)
After you are on that rom and have it all set up how you like it, have Titanium Backup installed and then follow the instructions on this post (from me) (http://www.themikmik.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=11143#p11143)
