How about this O2-ROM version: 3.20.06 ENG with ROM Kitchen version 4.00.16

Not sure what you mean, but I intend to stick the 3.20 ROM in the kitchen as soon as I have some time...

3.20 is the last known version to use the PocketPC 2002 OS, 4.00.11 is one of the latest version with the new version of the OS: Windows Mobile 2003.

Many thanks, one question, i live in cambodia, my network is CamGSM (Mobitel Cambodia), it is posible to update to ROM 4.00.16 T-Tobile? or ROM 4.00.11 is the same 4.00.16 T-Mobile??

If you have Asian Xda use ROM 4.00.05 or ROM 4.00.11.
ATT Radio 4.21.00 works well too if you want the "always on" feature.

Just a question for you guys. I just updated my XDA to 4.00.05 and I am not getting the sound when I connect my xda to the computer (The active sync sound) I know its something small but its bothering me. Is it fixed in 4.00.11?
I assign my own sounds to events
I want it to say hi to my computer when I connect it. It did with Pocket Pc 2002. :-(

Yes, Sure it is very good one, before this my XDA run ROM 3.16 ENG WM2002, now upgrade ROM to 4.0011 WM 2003, every I need are appear, Thanks alot to XDA-Developer, but if you know how to get ring tone with MP3 or MIDI, please let me know.

you can extract it from your ExtendedROM, i need this files for making an upgrade for xdall Cambodia version...

Try cooking your own ROM at http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/.
I would recommend yu take some time in the Wiki section and build up understanding of issue with ROM upgrade. 1000 of valuable post on ROM upgrafe and Special Edition ROM (quite old now)

I've been having probs with Lumpi. I can't get it to make an 4.-1.19 Ger rom or giving me an error with 4.01.12 Eng and York is closed.

What for error do you get?
If you have selected an operator config, have you regarded the hint to let some free space for the cooking process?

i own a XDA IIi pda, and i would like to upgrade it(if possible), and because i am kinda new in pda stuff, i am little afraid to upgrade it(i dont want to broke it or something). so if anyone can tell me how to do that.
i have readed lots of posts, but not quite shure where to get the right update etc.
in my device information, there are those infos:

Rom Date:1/27/05
Radio Version:1.02.00
Protocol Version 1337.41
ExtRom version: 1.11.112 WWE
so, can anyone please tell me what to upgrade(if needed) and where to get newest rom?and is there any possibility to get my xda not working after upgrade?

Looking at the device info on my Alpine, you are already at the latest versions of ROM/radio.

Save Current NEW HTC ROM

Hi,
I have just got my phone from HTC support (i have sent it for repairs)
It seems that there is an update on the ROM from what i previously had, for example now my cellular supplier configuration is being identified and auto-configuration works
I want to replace this ROM with new NEW coocked ROM which probably are much better but i still would like to save the current ROM that is in my Cruise.
CAN anyone PLEASE guide me on how to extract the current ROM??
(the whole parts RADIO , ROM , Extention ....) because i know how to burn a new ROM but i have no idea on how to save a current one

You must build any rom,and put diamond_connection setup as OEM package.
This package have operator's name around the world. - GSM

About a month or two ago I was at the office and I went on the HTC WW site to see if there was an update for the firmware and there was! I wanted to wait and do it at home but forgot and now I can’t find it on their site. Did they ever release one or not?
I confused.

Somehow in June they had one for one or two days. I downloaded and installed but could no find any difference and the next day it was gone from their site. I didn't know the ROM of the original one but seems to me it was the same an got to their site by mistake.

I am relatively new in this forum and also new in flashing a new ROM. I have a HTC p3300 with original WM6 which I bought some years back. So my PDA is open (not given by a telephone company).

Radio Version: 02.94.90

I have tried to read how to upgrade from WM6 to WM6.5 or any other good ROM, but the more I read the more I get confused.
Please can someone give me a useful guideline on;

How to flash a new ROM

Thanks for your message. I tried to follow the procedure as stated in the USPL documentation but along the line, I got an error, " Error 260" No connection between my computer and my PDA. I got to the stage (interface) where I can flash a new version of USPL on my device then the error appeared. I had a good established connection between the two devices before the error appeared.
So, what can be the problem? I am using Windows Vista.
