[SOLVED!]How to change the image of Globe Opera??

I just tried manila editor to replace the image in 7d3f1247_manila, but it did not work Is there anyone have idea to chang it?

But If u look at the image in Manila Editor... you can see that it's stretcht a little...
I don't know if that has anything to do with it??!

I just did it by a small chance!!!!
You should not use manila editor, just copy the new PNG to your device
for example: windows\glo.png

then make a soft restart, DONE
I have made a cab for the globe, maybe somebody need it

Call me thick, but I installed the cab above, and nothing. What do I need to do to replace the web n walk icon I currently have with the standard HTC globe?

You can use Notepad.

I'm not an expert... Would love to have this (with black background) as my icon...

I have made it in PS by modifying/editing original opera logos. Below I've attached the .psd with all the layers intact for people who want to edit it in Photoshop for other background colors in TF3D.

Oops!!! I missed this... I need to ask a question though, does it need to be a specific size??? Or will the replaced image center automatically??? Also if I want to use the third one I posted (which is a trasparent png) will it show up as transparent in TF3D?

Well I changed the code in 27c65cbd_manila and pasted my glo.png in windows directory... After two softreset nothing have still changed!! It's the original globe still
Also I've checked the 27c65cbd_manila in windows directory with Resco explorer to see that the change really sticked and indeed the...

...is still there!
Now I'm confused... I have a swedish version of diamond so do I need to edit a different file??? I see in 27c65cbd_manila there's a line that says Text="Launch Browser", in my swedish internet tab there's the text "Öppna webbläsare" which means launch browser in english so maybe I need to find the ******_manila that contains the "Öppna webbläsare" to edit the correct file???

I am working on some focus color theme cabs and have a odd bug when using the method to change the opera globe focus color as directed in this thread - any help - here is my request from that thread :

I used the method of changing the xml in '27c65cbd_manila' manila file in notepad to point to a new png in the windows folder to change the focus on the opera globe...which worked (instead of when you directly edit the opera focus manila file - which makes it turn to a blank white rectangle)...however now the 'Launch Browser' words are missing from below the globe.
I am not a manila editing expert so I am confused - where are the words stored - what file was affected by my change to remove them - in manila file '27c65cbd_manila' there is no mention in the xml of this text ,yet I am assuming my editing of this is what has removed the text...
EDIT I SOLVED IT- I must have removed the text= line from the xml when I was editing it Doh !

How to install a theme?
Intall TF3D Config
1. Create a file named "theme" on your internal storage. Put the file xxxxxx.theme inside
2. Open TF3D config and go to the tab "Appearance"
3. Press "path" on the top of the screen.
4. Choose the folder where you have put the .theme file.
5. Choose your theme in the section just below the button "PATH"
6. Press APLY and OK.
7. let the PPC works and press OK when it's finished.
Soft reset.
I'll not answer to any more questions about the installation. Follow the instruction on the thread of the TF3D Config

i think the bottomcurtain can be improved.. dun really like the slider
the clock is too black
and definitely.. i hate the weather.. why is there a pic of a man there!? in the sun! i disliked tellytubby for a reason...

If we have an older version of manilla running on our diamond will this cause any problem?

I also installed manila from Raphael n the same result - nothing

You need Diamond TF3D Config 0.6.7 installed on your device.
Installation instructions:
Download zip-file
Extract the zip-file on your PC
Connect Diamond with Active Sync!
Create a new directory "Themes" on the Internal Storage (4 GB) of your Diamond or use any other folder
Copy the extracted theme-file to "Internal Storage\Themes" or any other folder
Disconnect Diamond from PC
Run Diamond TF3D Config
Change theme and have fun!

i absolutely love the white theme....but i made some modifications i put in the white the slider and the bottomcurtain of the black one...but i have to ask a modification to you...can you make in the white theme the squares ? ...white squares obviously

skinning TFL3D

Does anybody have any guide on how to skin TFL3D?
I've tried Diamond TF3D config but on Jack's ROM 1.06 it kills the touch screen. (I have heard it works on the Itje's Touch-IT ROM)

Just replace the manila files. I think if you have a .theme file u can change it to .zip and unzip the manila files

Thats correct. I've done this on my xperia and all the themes work just fine

Yes, that should do the tricks for all roms.

[THEME] [UPDATED 3-21-09] X-Men & Dark Knight TF3D, S2U2

I made these X-Men themes for TF3D and S2U2 because of the upcoming Wolverine movie. And have also made a Dark Knight theme for both TF3D and S2U2. This is my first time making and posting my work, so please bear with me. Below also are some ringtones and wallpapers.
Also added icons for roms with HD manila. Includes stock, calendar, and sound profile icons.
To Install the TF3D files:
1. Download and unzip the folder to your desktop.
2. Copy and paste all of the files into the \Windows folder on your device.
Say yes to all when it asks if you want to replace these files.
3. Soft reset and you're done.

Yes, but these files are easily found in this forum or you can copy them before you replace them.

Xmen/Dark Knight Theme
Ok....so I am also a newbie so please excuse my ignorance. I tried copying the files as instructed but I am getting an error message that some of my files are read only. How do I fix this? I tried looking at the properties, but it doesn't give me the option to unselect the read only button. Thanks!

There isn't an install, but there are the original manila files floating around this forum.

Round glass slider
Some1 can help me find this? Identical to the one in the first post please.
Edit: Nevermind, i found it, to find out that its not tranparant. So i made it tranparant, to find out that the square glass slider still looks better..

I have the Sprint Touch Pro, stock rom. Does anyone else have this issue with the voicemail and text message icons? Please see the picture for what i'm referring to. The theme is awesome it's just that the icons are cut. Even the icon for the message preview is cut.

Welcome to my first rom, this is based on Arag0n's rom but as he appears to have stopped cooking i thought i'd carry on.
It is essentially the same as the previous version of Arag0ns rom but with Sense 2019, CHT and a couple of my favorite enhancements.
Free RAM is around 45Mb after install.
Livven Green suits sense well as it makes check boxs green like a HTC
UPDATED! 05/10/10 - Updated to Sense 2019 and Cookies home tab 2.0, removed arkswitch, added AMeBa, removed a couple of bits and pieces.

Known bugs:
I find HTC messaging a bit buggy (all versions) so i use the attached cabs to disable it and get MMS working.
CHT2.0 can be a little buggy at times as its a beta. So i have put the cabs for CHT 1.8 and 2.0, and for CHT editor 1.8 and 2.0 in the windows folder so you can swap them around as you see fit.
One of the cabs is causing a device.exe error during auto cab install, just tap don't send if it stays on the screen, it doesn't stop anything working.
If you have trouble getting the start menu up, push and hold the start icon, then change the settings in AMeBa.
At the request of Da Blitz i have attached the file "Weather server.reg.txt".
Download the file and rename to "Weather server.reg" then import using resco to change the weather server if you are having problems downloading.
(as far as i am aware this was first posted by Super_sonic in ffboys rom thread, so thanks super_sonic)

CHT uninstall in this ROM Version is not possible. is hardcooked to ROM.
in CHT editor you can change the path for homescreen wallpaper and with a QuickLinks wallpaper => and Wallpaper <= change

under CHT Editor, Miscellaneous setting, other settings, default wallpaper folder
type you folder. then
on display you have QuickLinks 4x4 make one with program or contact or..
with last point in menu Miscellaneous= previous Wallpaper and Next Wallpaper

Landscape - i believe THIS will fix landscape.
Sorry about the wallpaper in cookies, am working on a new build now. Not sure when i'll release it though.

Maybe U can upload rom in one part?

after the dl of the file TG01WP_Stonrom7z.001 and 2
do i need to rename that files? or something else before to copy in the sd card in the PRG location.
