Well, after using X1 for a long time I switched to X10. As I am quite new with Android I am searching on the net for best Android Apps, but some doesn't fill up my screen entirely. I searched the thread, but could not find this kind of topic, so I start one
So, I thought to help each other out and point each other on some cool application/game maybe we can share here our top 5:
I will start with 6 in this top 5;-)
1. Astro File Manager (Free, from Market)
I really was surprised there was no file manager as default in the X10. This one is very good and now you can install your .apk files from your storage card as well. A must have for everyone.
2. Zedge (Free, from Market)
A lot of very nice wallpapers and ringtones you can view/listen to, download and set as your default ones in just a few taps. Works great.
3. ACT1 VideoPlayer (Not Free, from Market)
Very nice videoplayer.
4. My Soccer 24/7 (Free, from Market)
All Major leagues, news, live scores and everything you need as a soccer addict.
5. Well, one game than.... WSOP Poker (not free, from Market).
It's not made for the X10, so it's a bit blurry, but the fingerfriendly controls of the game are just stunning.
6. Advanced Task Killer (Free, from Market)
Will shotdown the apps running in the background, I assume this will save a lot of battery power.
I am now still looking for a widget I can put on my home screen which allows me to control the musicplayer. Actually, I did not found a very good designed (black-themish) music player so far, so maybe some one knows a good player including a widget you can control it with.
Cheers,
Arnold

It showz how far the places are in km's and some of them are also reviewed and when you click on a location you get details such as address and telephone no. Gps needs to be switched on for this
app protector is a must if you want to hide things from nosy people who forexample just read your messagez, take no.z from your phonebook and what not. Prevents user from accessing any apps you choose by either pin/pattern lock!
music junk is an amazing app.. i think you might only find this online though! type any song you want and this music database will most likely have it.. you can alwayz keep up to date with the songz ur matez hav. holdin your finger on the desired song allows you to preview and download.. also a lyrics option which will try n find d lyrics 4 u (doesnt use browser 4 this either). Note - i think preview only works once it has fully loaded.
SwiftKey - i gotta say im really liking this app now. This app has a decent UI but its prediction is just 2 good 2 be true. It can analyse from all your previous messages aswell as help predicting your next word a breeze!! saves alot of time!!
Wifi File Explorer - Perfect for people with wifi at home - this allows you to use internet explorer to access your phone contents and also allows you to upload files to your phone.. very useful app! no need to rely on them silly cables!

For example, what music player is included? Vanilla or touch wiz? What are the 5 radio buttons they used in the notification pull down? Can you still adjust the brightness by sliding your fiber across the notification bar at the top, do we have a video player app, etc.

Do we have that new beach live wallpaper?
What about wireless tethering? Is the Froyo version there and does it work if it is? Or did Sprint take it out?
Craw, let's be a little realistic here. Why would Sprint include the FREE tethering when they have a product they're selling for $30/month?
NO US Carrier, and I can't think of ANY carrier at all, will include the tethering for free. I'm pretty sure Google just added it as a feature so it was easier for the carriers to implement their own (paid) solution.

As for tethering, no Froyo one..Sprint Hotspot is there...(doesn't work with 4g though..fail)
There is a USB Tether option..but I have not tested it.
Which live wallpapers are missing? Most likely I can replace them if I back up what I have now in my epic?
Also, can you edit the tw3.0 home screen like on the fascinate? Can you edit the dock?

That is the icon of the app. Looks slicker than the other stock Music apps. I'm excited about Google Cloud Music.
Works on void #echo. Not sure if "flawlessly" or not but the normal functions can be used. Still playing with it.
Edit: it still feels a bit laggy. None of my album covers were displayed (they were displayed fine in other players like stock and PowerAmp).

The sync with Google thing is them having a cloud for our music got a leaked one on the NookColor (worked more but still broken) and there was an option in accounts to sync music to steam later.
That is if the question mark meant you didn't know Features have kinda been promised for a while.

was expecting abit more from it , doesnt seem to be changed all that much .. unless they where just planning to update the 2 one with google sync
looks ok for a basic player
Works ok on 2.2.2 V10Q rooted. It's lagging a bit but looks pretty. Much better than the stock one. Thank you
Its on the market its in beta it's ok needs more options and of you use a album cover finder it won't recognize the album covers I dont understand why no one can make a good music player that doesn't suck up to much memory and turn on by itself and also a cool interface like the way you change albums on the iphone I know this one has something like that but it's only for recent and with no album covers I hate it
LG-P500 using XDA Premium App running CM7, ungaze data2sd, over clocked at 787 quadrant score 2100
Working good on openOptimus 1.148,it's integrated in rom
well I miss the ease of clicking the album art on the "Now Playing" screen to get back to my music, instead of clicking the headphones in the top left(Unless i'm missing something obvious here?)
And i'd continue using it if it had a widget.
Nice interface, but no equaliser, which for me means, right to trash. I still prefer PlayerPro :/
gonna try it out

Actually, it ain't different :/ but I thought it would be correct since it's only available in the us through the market.
All in one, I thought it would be nice to leave this registered in the forum for others
I installed the first one and it's a bit slower than version 3...
$omator,
Is there any possibility of getting that coverflow of the recent tab on the artists tab in landscape?
Ty
i do not understand ) what is coverflow
That neat effect of scrolling through the album covers. It only appears in landscape in the recent tab.. :/ I would like to have that same effect but on the artists tab, is that possible to hack?
that is in fact very good question
same as where is ability to set particular soundclip as a ringtone
i think those features will get updated (and maybe more added) with next updates rolling out

Honestly, I don't use this music app. I use poweramp, which is the best player imo.. :b regarding stock music players, I think I prefer this one. But it has a lot to improve, like the miserable lack of setting a song as a ringtone! ahah hope we get that in next updates
mmm finally got it working on teamhacksungs ICS build, a great improvement over the old music app its actually usable now lol
Question- What additional features would you like to see on the Q? So far I have additional features added;
Dual Mode
Browser
Clock
LinuxonAndroid support
Email
FTP/HTTP Server
Limited but functional Play Store
G+ services like Messenger and Stream
NTFS support when combined with StickMount
Zumocast
WiiMote as remote works with the proper app installed
Some things like are problematic as the kernel (no source) lacks needed services but I will work to find a solution.

Hi
I just wonder how did you know that an app like Appy Geek has a dedicated widget for YotaPanel, something I couldn't find in any other apps.
Cheers.
Might not be a dedicated widget, but appy geek has a widget that can be applied to yotapanels.
I've found using maps on the EPD is great, especially if it's too bright outside to see the front screen, with the display always being on you can keep glancing at the screen without having to unlock it and easily follow the little dot as you head to your destination. I use google maps and Maps.Me with the latter looking much better on the EPD (plus it doesn't suffer google maps annoying quirk of the little direction arrow pointing backwards to the direction of travel on the mirrored map)

A couple of emulators work really well on the EPD.
PHEM: Palm Hardware Emulator runs great, and since all the old Palm apps were designed for greyscale devices anyway, they work fine. I've freaked a few people out when I show them I have Android running on one side of my phone, and Palm on the other side.
Similarly, GBC.emu from Robert Broglia runs great, and the old Gameboy games are at home on the display.
In both cases, the minor screen update delays and artifacting actually seem to add to the experience, since these old systems had displays that were sluggish anyway.
Thanks for the pointer to GBC.emu - I installed it after reading your post and have been enjoying some old school Gameboy play that takes me back to when I first got it all that time ago (nearly 25 years....geeezzzz...that makes me feel old!).
Have been really enjoying QuizUp recently and it's brilliant on the back. The EPD allows for ages of gameplay with hardly any drain
This appeared on Twitter today, it is apparently "yotafit" but there is nothing in the app store of that name or even on a Google search, anyone know about this? I'd like it!
Edit....The reply to my question on twitter about the app....."It is a new app called Yota fit that will be included in the next software update (lollipop)"

Are there any WhatsApp designed for epd
Disa is pretty good on the EPD, also by it combining all the messaging you can have all of them on the back in 1 app, the interface is also well suited to the back.

Please explain how you've managed to work out PDFs? So far Fbreader works great with file formats like: docx, txt or epub but I failed to find the way to display PDFs on the backscreen - even with that plugin... For PDFs the icon that should send the display on the backscreen ('cueved arrow') is replaced by "Network Library". Do you experienced the same?
To be honest I failed to display and scroll PDFs on the Yotaphone backscreen so far If you know the way - please help and explain.
Really enjoying the yotanotes app and having a notification list on the EPD at the moment.
the Kindle app works for pdfs, as does wps office.
