Google Voice Tips - Hero CDMA General

I'm running DarchDroid AOSP w/JIT, certainly the fastest Hero ROM out there but not always the most functional. As many people know VVM doesn't work and you have to use Google Voice or some other alternative if you want VVM. Unfortunately, the instructions given by google (dial *28 plus the number you want to forward) doesn't appear to work on many Sprint phones. Here's the info you need to set up GV on a Sprint phone, taken from a Sprint rep. AFAIK the *28 code doesn't work but if you do the individual steps (busy and no answer) separately you achieve the same result.
There are three types of Conditional Call Forwarding you can choose from:
Busy – Only sends calls to an alternate number if you have two calls active at the same time (e.g. you are on a call and have a call waiting)
No Answer – Only sends calls to an alternate number if you don't answer your phone
Busy/No Answer – Will send a call to an alternate number for either condition listed above
Note: You may forward your calls to two different numbers for Conditional Call Forwarding by simply completing both steps 1 and 2 below. You can forward calls to one number when your mobile number is busy, and a different number if you do not answer.
Setup instructions and Star (*) codes for managing each type of conditional call forward are listed below:
Busy (*74/*740)
Turn on just Conditional Call Forward - Busy
Dial *74 plus the 10-digit number you are forwarding your calls to (e.g. *555-555-5555).
Press Talk.
You should hear tones, then the call will disconnect. Your calls will now forward to the 10- digit number you entered for when your mobile number is busy.
Turn off Conditional Call Forward - Busy
Dial *740
Press Talk
You should hear tones, then the call will disconnect. All your calls will begin ringing on your phone again.
No Answer (*73/*730)
Turn on just Conditional Call Forward - No Answer
Dial *73 plus the 10-digit number you are forwarding your calls to (e.g. *555-555-5555).
Press Talk.
You should hear tones, then the call will disconnect. Your calls will now forward to the 10-digit number you entered when you do not answer your phone.
Turn off conditional Call Forward - No Answer
Dial *730.
Press Talk.
You should hear tones, then the call will disconnect. All your calls will begin ringing on your phone again.
Busy/No Answer (*28/*38)
Turn on BOTH Conditional Call Forward - Busy and No Answer (Doesn't work for me)
Dial *28 plus the 10-digit number you are forwarding your calls to (e.g. *555-555-5555)
Press Talk.
You should hear tones, then the call will disconnect. Your calls will now forward to the 10-digit number you entered when your mobile number is busy or you do not answer your phone.
Turn off Conditional Call Forward - Busy and No Answer
Dial *38.
Press Talk.
You should hear tones, then the call will disconnect. All your calls will begin ringing on your phone again

Busy Call Forward as missed call?

I always use the busy call forwarding function(**21*) and press the cancel key to forward any call depends on my location. But my D810 treat this call as missed call and alert me to check this alert.
Is there any way that such call is not treat as missed call? Just leave a call log with a time with 00:00. Thanks.

Callback Service Client App

Wonder anyone can make a dialer to work with callback service provider. Below is the procedure :-
A. Choose number from contact or directly dial from the dial pad and press send key. If send key long press detected, answering incoming call will enable speaker otherwise enable handset only.
B. Dialer will dial to callback service number instead of number from A
C. Upon callback server reject the call or after xx sec timeout, dialer must disconnect the call.
D. Wait for call from callback service provider.
E. upon Answering any incoming call, after end of dialer activity, dialer will waits xx sec, and start to dial number from A ending with or without suffix. dialer active to monitor end call activity
F. End call detected, dialer will send end call string, wait for xx sec, terminate call and stops activity. Cycle completed.
Thanks

[Q] Rejecting Calls - Just Hang Up, Don't Send To Voicemail

Is there anyway to just drop rejected/declined calls without sending them to voicemail?
Not by default, maybe some other dialler will do that but in general whenever you reject a call on any phone it sends them to voicemail.
Your other option is to just pickup and hang up right away or disable voicemail. I do that for 1800 numbers which id on't want some automated machine leaving me a message.
Get the Mr. Number from the Play Store. There's hangup and send to voicemail options.
I'm using avast mobile security and their call filter. It works great but when it blocks a call, it gets sent to voicemail. Support asked what happens when I manually reject a call so I believe it is using the reject function of the Nexus 4.
Besides Mr Number, there are others available that drop the call but I was trying to get away with only using one app...since avast is going to be on my phone anyway.
