Google Maps 4.2 problems - Desire Themes and Apps

I upgraded Google Maps to 4.2, it works over WiFi but when using 3g it consistently fails to recognise the data connection. Am using a stock generic Rom. Anyone know of a solution?

[Q] Adfree Blocking Internet

When I use adfree, after a couple of minutes my internet connection stops working. I'm still connected to the WiFi. I can restore the internet by reconnecting to the WiFi network but the same problem happens again after a couple of minutes. Upon restoring the hosts file, the problem is gone.
Any ideas? I still want to use adfree but this problem is too much.
Bump

There's a relatively new app in the market called AdAway. Working for me at the moment.

Galaxy s4 4.2.2 connects to wifi, but doesn't use internet??? HELP

Hi all
My friend has a galaxy s4 and it will connect to his WiFi network, but when he goes to like, for example, go onto the web browser, it will say he is not connected to the net!
Its not our internet that is the problem either! Because other devices connect and use wifi.
Thanks

Try forgetting the wi fi network on the phone, then reconnect to it, re-enter the password and see if that helps.

Google+ and Youtube can't connect to wifi

I am on stock 4.4, unrooted. Recently my youtube and g+ apps stop working when I connected to wifi. Another apps working just fine though. Both apps also working fine under mobile data. I already clear data and clear cache but still no good. Anyone have an idea?

Can't connect to wandering Wi-Fi hotspot

I can connect to my Wi-Fi at home without issue, but I can't login to the Wi-Fi at work.
When I connect to the Wi-Fi at work, it automatically opens the login page. I'm supposed to click login (no password) and on the next page, click continue. I should have Wi-Fi access after clicking continue, but on my Galaxy Note 3, the browser just keeps loading until it gives a timeout error. I have tried this on both the stock browser and Google Chrome. I have tried reconnecting Wi-Fi, restarting my phone....
It works fine on my Skyrocket....

I sometimes get this on the T-Mobile hotspots on the train. But only when I still have a previously used login page open in another tab/browser.
Do you have that, by any chance?

I end tasked all the browsers and cleared the ram. Is the login page something.wanderingwifi.com? I wonder if it's just the Wi-Fi hardware.

Tried logging in with Firefox. Same problem. Is this that rare or are people just not logging in to hotspots?

Same problem with my wife's Galaxy S4. I guess we're the only ones.

Google account sync issues on mobile data

Hey, sometimes when I'm outside of the house, and try to use something like YouTube in a place with low reception, it just halts, loading very slowly and won't let me view any videos. However, after this, my Google account will fail to sync. Even after going to a place with better reception, it will fail to sync. And this happens to all the accounts on my s4 that I have set to sync. The only way to get sync to run again is to connect to a wifi network. I've tried clearing app data, enabling and disabling network data, and restarting my device, but nothing works until I'd have connected to a wifi network. Any suggestions or ideas?
