Is there any way to fix the streaming music issue with cyanogen? Every time I'm listening to mp3s or pandora, either the gps or a phone call will pause the music however it will not un pause once its done.
its not an issue with cyanogen. I had this problem recently with Sense roms as well. i think it may be a gmaps or pandora issue.
So there is no known fixes for this issue to date? Seems hard to believe with all the very smart developers on here
When playing music via PowerAmp, and then going into Google Talk the music cuts off. It will play fine until I enter Google Talk and then it will shut off and I'll have to go into it and restart the song I was listening to.
I've also noticed that when listening to music in the stock music player my music will randomly stop as well. I never had any issues until I flashed Xtreme kernal a few days ago and now I cant listen to music consistently. And that is very important to me.
Is anyone else having this issue? If it turns out to be an issue with the way my phone is responding to the kernal, how do I go about flashing back to the stock kernal?
I had similar issues with every music player I tried just stopping randomly. I thought it was Syndicate ROM, as I was getting the same problems with both Extreme Kernel and Phoenix Kernel. I assumed I just had a bad install somehow since no one else in the ROM thread seem to have that problem when I posted about it. However, music players have been working fine on the various Froyo builds I've tried, so I quit worrying about it and didn't really do any thorough testing.
Hey gang, new TF owner here. I want to play an MP3 in Winamp and surf the net at the same time. How come every time I go to switch applications (by leaving Winamp running, I just hit the home button to start a new app) - the music stops playing.
I'm a little disappointed that I haven't figured out how to do this yet. Anyone have this figured out?
I don't know about WinAMP, but I use the Google Music app and the music doesn't stop when switching apps.
Winamp also plays music in the background, regardless of app switching. Even continues playback even while the screen is turned off, if I recall.
Mine doesn't stop or exit music keeps playing and a notification is added to the bar.
I can confirm on my tablet, Winamp does not keep playing when I switch apps. If it matters, I am using the headset port. Maybe I'll try it without the headset and see if it does.
Maybe the headset port shuts off when the screen goes into sleep mode.
Ok yes, when I am NOT using the headset port, apps play in the background. However, when I use the headset port, the music shuts off when the app is switched (and also when the screen goes into sleep mode).
What's up with that?
I haven't tried Winamp specifically, but every other music app plays in the background no problem with or without headphones plugged in. Music, TuneIn Radio, and iHeartRadio are three that come immediately to mind.
I just download Winamp so I can test and WITH headphone I can multitask and listen to music just fine.
Music still play when screen shut off also.
My built in music player is the same way.
Can you fix the interruption from notification when playing music? It's very irritating when im listening to music and i sudenly get a notification and my music gets paused for a second just to play the notification.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pierceholdings.dontpause
that is certainly better than nothing but i would like to have the notification to be played over the music meaning that it plays but without pausing the music.
Yes I hate it when the music pause for a second to play the notification sound. Any way to disable it without installing additional software?

Anyone?

Music and videos start pausing on it's own sometimes after a couple of minutes sometimes after a couple of seconds. I first thought my Spotify was getting paused because of the saavn notification popping up in the background then I uninstalled saavn and the problem still persists. Even when playing YouTube on mozilla. It's a bit irritating. Any ideas why
