Do you have Titanium Backup or MyBackup Pro if not you should get one of them.
Look Here:
data/misc/wimax
Delete or Move:
tree.xml

It does or can get kinda repetitive when you do it over and over. Its a lot better if you have something like Titanium Backup makes restores bearable.

Astro File Manager (may require Pro version?) has an app backup function. Not as nice as Titanium Backup, but it doesn't require root.
Also, don't forget to update your radio and WiMAX as per the OP on that thread.
i find it amusing that the same people who were afraid or for whatever reason didnt root, are now flashing this fake unreleased 2.2 and complaining about the issues with it... if you want an official release, wait for it to be officially released
I dont really care what you think. If you dont have an answer to the question dont reply and dont waist my and others time. got it ? get it ? good

Hello,
after hours of searching the whole Note forum I'm not able to find the thread I'm looking for.
It's a thread about a modified Galaxy Note camera (apk), which brings better sharpness and better contrast to the Note camera.
I think it has been ported from another device.
I can remember that there was a picture with a comparison where you can see a huge mountainscape.
Maybe anybody know what kind of thread I mean? Anyway I'll continue looking for it!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1371755
a question to all..

Thanks, but that is not the thread I was looking for.
No, there is no other way to install the camera.apk without root.
Camera.apk is a system apk, so you can only install it with root.
Maybe http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1421861 ?

Thanks, but no.
I already found that thread but it was not the one I was looking for.
Well... Maybe it wasn't in the Note forum but it was at xda-developers.com for sure
I remember that this is not an apk itself, but rather a feature or a hack. I think it's starts with a "B"
Edit:
Just found the thread I was looking for.
It was about the Bravia Engine.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19507903
I also found this:

Maybe it'll work for my Note.

Use framaroot. Don't create a new thread for every problem, use the thread you created earlier.

Perhaps you're talking about the pc root solution, with fastboot...but it's not as easy as it looks like
