20 Icon Cab - HD2 General

I have installed the 20 Icon Cab and I find that I cannot delete Icons from the 20 Icon app. If I hold down on the Icon I do not get the option to delete the Icon? Is there another way to delete an Icon than the normal Hold until you get delete option displayed?
I have to uninstall the app then go through the process of re-install and setting up all my icons again.
Thanks in advance.

Hide Comm Manager Icon?

I want to hide the comm manager icon in the system tray bar, I found a cab file in this forum, but it's not works on my xda mini s. Anyone knows how to change the registry?
Many thanks for your help!
Delete or move the file "\Windows\StartUp\Init_tray.lnk". This launches the tray icons app used for the battery and comm manager icons.

I "lost" the HTC_Calender icon

Hi,
while trying to rearrange my program screen (via creating new sub-folders and cut and paste the links to these new folders)
on the HTC HD2 I "lost" the icon for the HTC_Calender program
I now only have a white/blue general folder like icon now.
The link is working though, HTC Calender starts.
Anybody knows, how I can rearange the correct icon for the link ?
The icon itself seems to be apparent in the /windows folder
as HTC_calendar.?
Thx for help
gersi
Try a soft reset, if you haven't done one yet.
Install the program JWMD Icon Changer and find the calender icon and select it to load to default icon.

Change Manila Home Quicklink icon

I'm using stock rom 1.48.832.1 CHT
I've set one of the home quicklink icon to http://touch.facebook.com, but I really don't like it use a thumbnail cache of the page as the icon... So I went to registry and changed the path of the icon to the facebook.lnk pointing to the Facebook app... However Manila refused to refresh the icon...
I've also try to work it out another way round... Set the quicklink to the facebook app and change the address manually to http://touch.facebook.com... However when I press the icon it still launched the facebook app....
My goal: To set a quicklink pointing to http://touch.facebook.com with the facebook app as the icon
Anyone know what I've done wrong? Thanks

Quicklink icons aren't the same as in the startmenu

I just installed the official ROM for Topaz which brings us Sense 2.5. Now, I have changed all my icons on the whole phone to new ones but when I add one as quicklink in Sense it just shows the default one.
What can I do about this?
ArtieQ, you can find the icon path for the quick links in File Explorer->Application Data->HTC->ProgramLauncher. Those override the icons in the start menu. That would be one place to start. You could try deleting the default icon there and the icon you are using in your start menu should work. Be sure to backup/copy the default before deleting it.
The icons that don't show up is not in the ProgLauncher folder, why's that? Can't seem to fix this..
The way I've done it in the past is to delete the icon in programlauncher. HTC presets those icons to appear in quicklinks for the programs listed in that folder. All other programs use the icon in the startmenu. If you install new icons, they will not go into the programlauncher folder. So, if you see the icon you installed in the startmenu try deleting the associated default icon in programlauncher. For example, I wanted to use the google maps icon in the startmenu instead of the default one used by HTC in quicklinks. So I deleted the googlemaps icon in programlauncher and it then defaulted to the one in my startmenu.

[Q] Getting icons back?

Start Menu -> look at my HTC_Calendar and HTC_Music app - they both do not have the nice HTC icons (musical note icon and HTC Calendar app icon - the one you get when you hover over the calendar in the slider). It used to be there and when I tried to copy the file from the storage location to another location and copied it back, it no longer shows the icon - just the generic blue stripe at the top, white window icon. Any idea how I can make it so it generates and shows the nice icon? I looked at the .lnk file using notepad and noticed it points to ManillaShortcut music or calendar. That's it. There's no reference to an icon file or anything like that. Is there a reg key or something? Thanks in advance.
Can someone look in their Start Menu and tell me what (this is stock 2.13 ROM) the lnk is called and what it should point to? Currently - it is called HTC_Calendar and HTC_Music.
