HTC Home plug-in in HW 6915?

Can anybody help me?
I have seen the HTC Home plug in HTC Touch.and i.d like to have it in my device. Is it posible?

Yes, it does work. You have to use version 1.5, as the 2.0 version only works on WM6. I used to use it. I've moved on a another product that I think is much better. Check out http://www.pointui.com/ (PointUI Home). It is much cooler, and it runs really well on the Sable.

Are you sure that it can work? I tried it, but the only one what i´ve got is a big hole in my screen.... Hw6915 works on wm 5.0 -so i have tried version for 5.0.
I mean the problem is in resolution of HW (the plug in is made for classics 240X320 and my device kas 240X240...) So what shall i do?
ps: sorry for my english...

after instaling HTC HOME go HKLM/Software/microsoft/today/items/htc home
change value of "type" from 5 to 4
this will unlock your today screen

UPDATED 30.06.08 - Diamond Random Access

Here is updated files to random access, its not system files, just the graphic files.
copy to your sd-card, then use total commander to copy them to windows dir on your device. (will not work properly on "older random access")
It is not the random access from diamond, its just a skin of the "good old one"

In greek Language
I have been trying to find a greek translation for Randomm Access for ages, can you please help me and make one, as I dont have any idea how to do this. Greek alphabet:

Thanks so much for this, looks GREAT! The only problem is, after installing it, I am no longer able to scroll through contacts, unless I use the D-pad. Any idea why this would happen? Any suggestion how I can fix it?

PS: The same thing happened to me after I installed the actual Diamond random access, which is why I went back to the original random access.
EDIT: Okay, I discovered that it is the black RS_Bar.png which causes my phone to stop scrolling contacts. If I replace just the RS_HL.png and RS_ind.png, then it works fine, does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I am able to replace RS_Bar,png with any RS_Bar.png with the white one fine, and it continues to work, it is just the black one which causes scrolling to stop working.

HTC Home to small on Blackstone

Hello ! I really would like to use HTC Home and its Customizer with my brand new Blackstone.
Unfortunately after trying a lot of tips (replace a dll in the windows folder) I can't get it readable on the screen (characters are very small), has anyone any idea???

Sorry for my bad english , I'm a french user of HTC HD.
Before with my MioA701 I used the HTC Home software as Home Page with the HTC Customize program.
Now I would also like to use it on my HTC HD instead of the TouchFlo 3D , but I've tried a lot of solutions but ever get really to small characters near unredable .
If some one has a solution??

I don't think that the HTC home should be compatible yet...

Strange.
Did you made a soft reset?
What error di you have?

After the "Install Operation" I got the message "Softwre could not be installed on this version !" and nothing more happens.
I've tried to soft reset before and after but changes nothing.

Have you installed sdkcert.cab?

where ??? i don't understand ....

If you try to install the HTC Home plugin you will immediatly understand.
The all Home Page isn't display higher than " or 4 lines on the top of the screen so you can see or read quite nothing.

I noticed it disables your Wifi on the comm manager once you install this. I tried to take it off and everything was ok again

is anyone else having the old problem, that words typed in abc mode are not stored in the dictionary ? t9 does not remember them after a soft reset.

On my brother's omnia works well, i think that is a problem of your Rom =(

Yes! It remember the new words if you change the SIP (Input method) before softreset!

an other method is to copy the IntelliPad.udb from /windows to your pc and edit it f.e. with superedi. just make one entry per line with your desired word and copy the file back without renaming to /windows. tadaa - you have all words you ever wanted. (btw. IntelliPad.udb is a plain textfile).

when you are far from a pc, do you prefere changing the sip or backup and edit the file?
edit the file could be useful in case of backup before reflash, or if you are bi-lang, and you write for example in english and also in italian

i know it..but I don't like this

You can use SmartKeyboard from the market, it has an option to disable letter preview and it's much more comfortable to type with.

Menu>Smart Keyboard>Settings>Check Smart Keyboard and here you can select which keyboard layout you want to use. Than long press any text box for example in messages, than enter Input Method and then select Smart Keyboard.

no prob=) if you can't see it on your android market I think you should follow the instructions here and install the patched market (assuming you have a rooted phone). and then install it normally using your phone.
