First, I have Cingular 8125 with Qtek AKU2 ROM.
I have installed informant PIM and .mobile Contact Phone softwares. I love both of them, a way better than PIM apps that came with origrinally. However how can I remap the softkey for Conact and Calendar in TODAY and PHONE screens? I want to open informant when I press Calendar and Contact button for .mobile Contact Phone.
Help Please ~~

Here is what I'm using. Even though it doesn't give you full control of what you want. It might suit your needs though.
Im trying to set a softkey to point to my Pocket Outlook Contacts.
Anybody know the location??
can't quite remember the format and not 100% sure this will do the trick...
try either windows\poutlook.exe -contacts or Windows\poutlook.exe contacts (without the dash)
Hope this helps.
nope didnt work.
The properties in the link should be
''poutlook.exe'' contacts
Works on my device - will post the link if you still have problems
am i missing something here? (yes this is my first PPC device) i have the cingular branded 8125 with 2.25.. and when i click on poutlook.exe i get nothing that comes up? is there a pocket version like pocket excel/powerpoint, etc?
PocketOutook Contacts Recovery and Keymap after Goodlink!!!!
NOTE: I have included a reg file that can be imported via your favorite pocket registry editor that will assign your voice command key to pocket outlook contacts!
If you navigate in the registry to
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Keys\
you can modify the string of one of the hardware keys to
"\Windows\poutlook.exe" contacts
That will launch Pocket Outlook Contacts. I have used my voice command key because i never use voice command.
Alternatively, you could create a shortcut that passes the argument -contacts when it executes poutlook.exe.
I hope that helps!

Has anyone developed an app that links into a Sat Nav software, so all you would need to do is select the outlook address and navigate to.
Regards
Rich
Not sure exactly what your after but if you have an address in contacts you can select menu-navigate and any sat nav software you have installed should start up and go to that address.
yes junior, this is working with igo8 and tomtom for sure, so what are you looking for ?
Sorr for not ebing more specific, I have a TyTN 2 with TomTom installed. When i go into the contact details, and select a contact that has an address in their profile, there is no option to Navigate to. I was wondering if there was an app that facilitated this.
Regards
Rich
navigate
garmin Xt has a plug-in that does this.
Google Maps used to do this.
TomTom does this from within Tomtom, When it asked where to navigate to, select Contact and it will start the process.
Can anyone advise if there is a good and working plug-in for Outlook which I could use to dial my contact numbers via Bluetooth connection with the Diamond Touch.
I have tried few applications none worked well if at all. I just need the option to dial any number without the need to pick up my phone since I use hands free.
Thanks for your recommendations
i dont know about a plugin but cant you just use the voicecommand to make a call?
I am looking for the same software since many many months... didn't find anything yet.
No ideas? Or any advices?
What you need is Microsoft Voice Command. I use it all the time and it work perfectly whether dialing by contact or phone number. It should have come with the phone. Most custom ROMs have it cooked in as well.

Did you mean a phone application? What I am looking for is a desktop PC Outlook plugin . I want to open my PC contacts stored in Outlook while working at the desktop PC and clicking the contact in the Outlook Address book I can dial the number via BT connected HTC (HTC connected to the PC with Outlook) without touching the phone.
Thanks.Marian
Any advices?
Hello,
I run WM 6.5 (dutch) on my HTC HD2. With ActiveSync I'm able to import my email and contacts from my Gmail account. So far so good, but....
Contacts appear in my contact list with name first and then surename. It's -as far as I could find out - not possible to switch those two.
Example -
David Jones (Gmail) will appear as Jones David (WM)
How can I edit this sequence or has anyone else the same problem? Is there any software update that will solve this annoying problem?

I had exactly the same problem and I still do but I found a way of changing it but you have to do it for ever single one; Go to edit contact - scroll right to the bottom and press more and press file as and change it there. I was this permanent each time I create a contact but I dont know how. =(
or use this handy first-last cab.
dont forget that any new contacts will be saved last-first unless you change that right at the bottom of the edit contact page as in post 2
