You cannot do that, as most of what your are asking for is built into the firmwares core, so only way to have them is to use a desire rom for n1.
Desire calculator works on N1..I tried 2 weeks ago..

Of course you can extract it, but who knows if it will work on another build.
Theres only one way to try try to push it to system>>app.
Thanks...How do you do that??
You have to find a Desire HD ROM drop. Someone posted it long times ago. Or you just google it.

there is a new OTA at HTC site version 2.29.405.2
www.htc.com/europe/support.aspx
it still didn't appear on my phone all they say is android market update
I'm pretty sure it's an update for the Desire and not the Desire HD. Going from 1.something to 2.something seems unusual. And it's been reports of a new update for the Desire today.

sigh, no matter how much they grow and impress us, HTC will always makes such unprofessional mistakes
Hi all, I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=779797 about removing the HTC Sense from HTC EVO4. I'm wondering if it's going to work on the Desire HD too. Is there someone who test it??

It's optional on the EVO 4G, whereas the Desire HD is not. Your best bet is to use a different launcher, I changed ROM to Cyanogen, best move ever, no sense makes better sense.

as far as i know, they haven't got a 2.3 android device yet. they are soooo slow with updates.
No 2.3 Sense indeed, false alarm!
I thought I heard something about this too
I found this "Install Android 2.3 Gingerbread On HTC Desire HD"
but i'm not sure that it'll work our HD2, maybe a Senior Developer can do it.
replace the xxx with w's.

There is absolutely no need to be a ****. Did you get this far (in your apparent superior knowledge) without ever asking a question? And have you as a human being ever asked a stupid question? Id bet money you have. And to my knowledge there is no Desire HD rom out currently. cheers!

I might be wrong here, but I thought the Desire Z and Desire HD stock ROMs were identical (from a features viewpoint). I've got the Desire Z and my friend has a Desire HD and whilst I'm now on CM7, her HD looks/feels exactly like my Z did (well a little bit quicker probably because of the bigger CPU)
They launched about the same time and were both originally the only ones which could use htcsense.com as well so realistically if you're just looking for a Sense ROM for your G2 I would just suggest Virtuous (which to me felt like the stock ROM, but a million times better) or one of the other DZ ROMs. Hope this is of some help!

What diff in HD rom?
Well it might be the same sense but you would still need to port it. Remember Disire Z has a keyboard and HD does not.

You mean the Desire HD and the Desire Z, I think.
Desire S is Gingerbread.
there is a desire hd gingerbread sense rom, but its exactly the same as the desire s rom. no point in porting it.

Maybe you're used to other forums or blogs or something, but try not to be a jerk here at XDA.
