hello, I was just wondering if it was possible to play yahoo games like spades and pool? I I think they are java based games, so I know opera will not work, and I have tried using internet explorer but it wont load the game. so I am thinking that it is probably not even possible,am I correct?
If not what do I need to get this to work?
Thanks in advance for the help,
Michael
anyone know if this is possible? I would greatly appreciate it. I mean there is a java application in the start menu, but I am not to sure if that can be used to play those games.
Thanks anyway,
Michael

hello,
searched these forums and the answer pointed to jeode for pocketpc.
tried it and installed/activated plug in nut it didnt work for me.
i play chess on www.redhotpawn.com and they use some sort of java for me to make the moves. pIE doesnt support as you are all well aware, but bitstreams Thunderhawk browser does.
now what i am after is a plugin/cab file to enable me to play the chess game on my wifi connection at home instead of pc.
i know i have the option to subscribe to thunderhawk but i only need 1 part of this software and not all of its features ie dont want to overpay for just 1 feature!
all help suggestions appreciated. thanks
Have you tried Jeode? It's a java plugin that works in pIE...

Dear all,
I am currently developing an app in WM5 for playing MP3/Wav.
But I seem not to be able to find any component in C# in VS2005 which can be used to play MP3/Wav.
Does anybody give me a help or hint ?
Thank you so much.
I've been looking for the same thing and this is the only thing I have come across:
http://www.fmod.org/
You'll need to reed the forum and download the C# wrapper.
I think there might be a wrapper somewhere to allow you to use the Media Player API in WM5 devices but don't quote me on that...
I found this...
http://community.voxeo.com/library/audio/prompts/numbers/index.jsp
I don't know if it will help or not, as I'm still struggling with it.

I would like to know if anyone can help me out games on my t-mobile wing, I know there's a way to do it I just don't know how and also if anybody knows how to put snes roms on it I would appreciate the help. I've seen that done too.
Um download the game then start your active sync session the run the games EXE.
SNES roms im not sure..i tried it on my old MDA but never liked it..
I should of been more specific, I mean games that's already on my computer like for example bejeweled 2.
you cant use pc games on pda's the games have to be made for the pda
or run in an emulator like snes
el proke

go to www.serrealnetworks.com and go to mda applications and there you have rom for NES
www.surrealnetworks.com
Here's a list of some great games just for your Wing:
http://thewingster.com/games.aspx
I'm gonna be adding more games there as time goes by. But all you gotta do is either go to that website on your phone's browser and click "download" on a game's page, or click download on your computer and then copy the .cab file onto your phone. Once you download the file, it should automatically start installing. If not, then go to where you saved it, and click it.
It's very simple, and the games are pretty decent. Enjoy!

I've get pocketgba (gba emulator) and for some reason the games wont load. Can someone help me out so i can start playing gba on my wing.
Thanks in Advance
make sure your ROM is not corrupt. I am no expert with PGBA but I know I had to experiment with a few different places with downloading roms...some work, some dont Its really a guessing game. I am still having problems mapping buttons on the control settings so it takes a little experimenting. You have to work with the program a little, I wish there was an easier way but it takes a lot of tinkering.
Woow dude, where did you get that program? And can the herald handle a game like pokemon?
can you give me a link of the emulator?
Thanks alot
and the link for it is here:

no prob, I am still partial to Pocket NESTER...cant beat the classics only reason I have GBA is for Zelda minish cap...otherwise I am not a huge fan, it always has been kinda slow but I cant complain it is free
