Audio Problems - HD2 General

Hi people,
I've looked for this on the forum but app no-one has had this problems before.. (or my searching skills just suck)
All of sudden the audio from my phone is gone. It is not a hardware problem because when people call me i can still hear them and the beep you hear when you adjust the sound also functions.
However he doesnt recognize any music files and no audio whatsoever.
Tried deleting the apps i installed before it turned shifty but didnt make a diff.
Anyone any suggestions???? Really dont feel like hardresetting the thing because might be just a small thing.
Fank u very much

Sound Problem with XDA II

Hi, i cant get the sound to work on my xda.. neither in calls or using media player etc.. ive checked all the volumes are on max and that its not on silent. I dont know much about the XDA but i guess its software related because the 2 speakers dont work (unless its just got the one then it may be stuffed) Any help would be great, i dont have a MMC for it atm so i cant flash it either.. is there anyway i can look at the logs of the phone see if its having problems with a driver or something??
Thanks
Ryanmt
Have you tried the headset?
my sound packed in once, on built in and headphones. I did a hard reset just to answer the software issue once and for all and it still did not fix it. Turns out it were faulty.
I also lost my sound one time.
Media player said something about missing codecs-- I had no sound--no phone -nothing. Seems like the problem startd after uninstalling sprite backup.. Anyway a hard reboot solved the problem

No sounds from TyTn after weird noise

Ok, this is kinda weird. Dont know how to explain it and what is causing it..
After my phone has been in standby for awhile(random amounts of time) i hear this weird screetch/tik/like a short of electricity but very soft from my phones speaker, then there is no more sound. Not even if i call my phone will the ringtone play(its a custom wma file) or the sounds when selecting something. Untill i softrest my phone, then all the sounds are back..
I uninstalled apps that i lately installed, but it doesnt fix the problem. Now i dont have and idea what to do.. I dont want to rebuild the phone now.. Will wait until new rom with AKU3.* comes out.
I'm not sure what the weird sounds could be, but the muted sound until a soft reset is a documented bug with the Hermes. Have a look at the Hermes Wiki and search this forum for 'mute' for more info.

HD2 Low Volume, Personal Request.

I know this has been talked about, but there seems to be mixed results, I have searched everywhere, and I have tried all the different suggestions, but I still have this issue. As for in call volume, I have no complaints, my primary complaints are When a call comes (Ringer) in its not anywhere as loud as my TP2 use to be, or even how the HD2 was in WinMo. and the other area is notification.
Again I have tried, deleting the htcleo.acdb and runing the default.acdb, I tried replacing the htcleo, replacing the default, and each one either makes it lower or no difference at all. I even had one that made the ring volume sound low and as if it was on speed.
So what I am asking is, for the people who have HD2's and say there's is loud, would it be too much trouble for you guys to attach your sound file so I can test it and see if it will help my phone out? Cause like I said alot of us are saying its low, and others are saying its too loud, and unless I am wrong, the acdb file should work across on the HD2 phones right? At this point I'll try anything.
Thanks to anyone who does, cause its the only thing driving me crazy.
Okay Can anyone confirm something I just ran into please? As I was browsing through the file system, I notice this:
etc/firmware - default.acdb
system/etc/firmware - default.acdb
data/etc/firmware - default.acdb
I thought it was only two locations not 3!?
Also can anyone tell me what the MFG.acdb is for? Thats also in all three locations.
*EDIT*
I just tried my HTC Aria its stock with the AT&T android, and the sad part is its louder then my damn HD2

[Q] Low Incoming Call Volume

Hi, I've searched everywhere trying to fix the problem but none suggested by other users was able to fix it.
The problem I have is when someone calls me, I can barely hear them. However, when I make calls to other people, the call volume is absolutely perfect. I'm talking about the incall volume, not ringer just incase some people misread it.
I've done replacing the htcleo.acdb and default.acdb files, that didn't do it.
Some have suggested that turning off the Keypad tone fixed this issue, but it didn't do it for me either.
So if anyone has come across a working fix for this, please share your wisdom with me. Android on the HD2 just makes the phone 100 times better, just need to fix this issue to make it perfect.
It may be the rom
i also have the same problem and i noticed that after changing my rom.
I get that problem sometimes but how I sort it is to turn loud speaker on and off then its fine.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
i'm having the same problem with htc tattoo.
just installed the: CyanogenMod 7.0.0-RC2.2 (7007) 2.3.3

No sound coming from earpiece - software related pleeeease help!!!

Hey guys, so I've been having a horrible issue with this phone and I can't for the love of god find the reason behind it.
Sometimes my earpiece just doesn't work, be it for calls or anything else. In fact, if I press the play button on a whatsapp voice note and put the phone to my ear even though it turns the screen off it actually pauses the audio, which may already be an indicative that the problem isn't hardware related, as it would just keep playing with no sound coming out if the problem was the actual speaker. This problem comes and goes (but it's there 80% of the time) and when the earpiece works sound is loud and clear. When I reset the phone, it worked all the time, but as soon as I install my apps and all, problem comes back. I really need help to find out what's causing it... Is there a way for me to know if a specific process from some app is doing it? Has anyone had a similar problem??? My phone simply can't be used as a phone right now =(
If u r sure it is software related reflash the software via Odin
