does anyone had this error when accessing the photo program like changing the home tab wallpaper, contacts picture..ect.....Please help guys

I discovered one of my wallpaper pictures caused the HTC photopicker to crash every time I went into my Wallpaper folder. I closely watched what the last image thumbnail photopicker successfully displayed. I then deleted the next image after that. Once done wallpaper folder became completely accessible. Success!

In the most recent ROM I have installed it came with HTC Camera album. Now whenever I try to set an image as a wallpaper for the today screen, I don't get the option to set transparency because the image opens with HTC album. Is there a way around this and/or a way to remove HTC camera album?

I ran into this issue when I first got my Wizard
Open "Pictures & Videos", select the wallpaper you want, hit the right softkey(Menu) and click "Set As Today Wallpaper" or something to that affect.
From there it'll ask you to set the transparency, thats how it has to be done, atleast the first time.

I was thinking how would be nice if someone could add a menu option for viewing pictures - use as touchflo3D background ( or maybe some picture viewer app which can do this ). Because always when you want to change the background you must slide across the screen to settings tab, select the wallpaper option, click on no ( no default wallpaper ), choose the folder and finally found a picture what you want in that so small thumbnails, click on it and go to the home tab to see how it looks like. But specially in the women pictures you find out (after this ridiculously long procedure) that she has a clock across the face xD.
Correct me if I am wrong. The app with the thumbnails is htc album right? Why there is no possibility to see the image in fullscreen before you select it as wallpaper (as it is in htc album tab) ???

I noticed something weird today and was wondering if anybody else had experienced it.
I was viewing wallpapers through my phone's browser and they looked fine. When I saved and applied them, however, they displayed incredibly strangely compared to how they looked in the browser.
The only way to describe it is transitions between colours have lines between them, like contours on a map. This doesn't happen with any of the default wallpapers so for comparison I downloaded our default rainbow wallpaper and when that's applied manually it also has these weird color transition lines. It's pretty ugly.
I tried transferring the wallpaper across from USB and it still had this effect.
Has anybody else experienced this? Everything displays fine in the browser but as soon as it's applied to a wallpaper it goes strange

sometimes i set a wallpaper and some time after it gets strange, like with some squares on all of the wallpaper.
No such problem. I change wallpapers very often, from various sources.

I've just found a solution for this on my HD2 running an Incredible S ROM and came across this thread whilst searching for the problem, thought I'd post here in case anybody is interested.
The HD2's screen has a color limitation, whilst the Legend's screen is AMOLED - both panels cause an image display problem known as color banding. As the OP described, it's when gradients appear chunky, "like contours on a map". For an example, see this image.
As I used to own a Legend, I was frustrated with how wallpaper images I applied would look like that - all except the stock HTC wallpapers. That's how I realised the fix for it.
If you're rooted, you can replace one of the standard HTC wallpapers in your ROM.zip's system/customize/resources folder. For example, I had a custom image I always used as my wallpaper that looked crap on my HD2. I replaced HTC_wallpaper_03.jpg in the folder I mentioned and, when applied through the default HTC Wallpaper options available from Sense's home screen menu, the image is dithered and looks perfectly smooth.
So if anybody else wants to smooth out a wallpaper you always use, just place it into your ROM's zip file and it'll be fine.

Ive been creating my rom
ive made my own wallpapers and lockscreen
ive replaced them in /system/customise/resources
all ok
but when i go to change my wallpaper there a small bug
my wallpaper shows up but the screen shot at the bottom is different

I am having the following error after installing full version [ROM][26.04.2011][WWE-ITA-FRA-ELL-GER-RUS-SPA-NLD-DAN] ver 3.00 nsourm -build 29020. I do not have have enough posts yet to post in that thread so I have no choice to post it here.
- When I uncheck message and email widget they don't disappear and I have to do soft reset. It is hard to move message widget, email widget is too big on screen and I can't move it. They always cause CHT crashed and then CTH stops running.
- Message and email widget don't work
- 3 icons Internet, Messaging, Outlook looks the same and they look like wrong icons.
- I have set 3 320x480 wallpapers for Home Tab-Portrait, CHT Lockscreen-Portrait, All Tabs-Portraits. How can set wallpaper on CHT lock and window screen?

The 3 icons you mentioned are folders they have a folder icon.
