Does anyone use the other screens?

I find myself just using the main home screen and putting my icons there, but the other screens don't get used and are blank. If I want an app, I press the dots and flick through the launcher.
Is it just me?
I only use 3 of the screens. main one (centre), the left and right one. Other ones are empty.
3 here, I removed the other two using Helixlauncher2
I'm using all 5 and they are all full heh. I have different themes for each screen with most used apps + clock/weather on the middle screen, social networking widgets on one, utilities on one, fun on another and one with an agenda and some other stuff.
Not really hard to fill those screens up imo, but I guess other people actually use the app-drawer.
I use them all and kind of wish there were more. LOL like the poster above, each page has a specific "theme".

you're screens are set up EXACTLY like I set my Nexus 1 screens up : -). but on my g1 I just use 1 screen

I use Helixlauncher and am using all 7 screens. Although I noticed that with all of the widgets I'm using, there is some lag once in a while, but it's more that it's not as smooth as the stock homescreens really.
I use each screen for different types of task.
My home screen has Calls, SMS, GMail and the Browser icons. First screen to the left has facebook and twitter widgets and the second screen to the left has tool apps like netcounter, task killer, astro file manager and the power widget.
First screen to the right is for media so I have the news widget, music, camera and gallery icons/widgets. The second right screen has apps I want to find quickly like torch, calculator, dictionary and a few games.
Scrolling up and down the app drawer seems like a pain to me

I have almost the same layout but with the left and right reversed... might be because i am in a right handed drive country xD

I do have the exact same layout!
3 screens, apps to the left, widgets to the right, and calling, text, emails, contacts center. Not ruling out using the far screens but have no need for them with my usage. There is still plenty of room on the inboard 3 for future additions.
3 screens only & using the Helix Launcher
Using 3 main screens loaded with apps & widgets.
all 5, but not all full. home screen has most apps, with phone, contacts, notes, task panel widget, car home, voice, gesture search, sms, settings and spare parts. left 1 is gmail and weather
left 2 is pandora and facebook.
right 1 is some games, system widget (sync, locale, wifi, bt)
right 2 is the calendar pad widget covering whole thing. i need to see whole month.

Same here. I have the calendar widget on my main screen, which takes up four "slots", and my most frequently used apps (mail, phone, camera, Twidroid etc.and a battery widget) One screen to the left I have other frequently used apps, two screens to the left I have the 4square widget. One screen to the right some frequently used widgets (like weather, Google Buzz and networks) ans two screens to the right: games.
I use 5 out of seven on my Desire ROM.
Center is most used apps plus weather clock.
To the right is two rows of apps. right of that is facebook and textsfromlastnight
the left of center is weather, but the expanded widget from sense
to the left of that is sticky notes and some media.

RE-Order applications

Hello,
I was wondering is it possible to re organise the application on the x10 so i can put my favourates nearer the top and on the first page?
thanks for your help
You could put your favourites onto one of your home screens. That's what most people seem to do.
go to one of the home screens, slide up the apps panel then hold your finger on the app you want until it vibrates the app panel will close and you can drop the app onto the screen.
Simples!

thanks for the reply.
yeh i did have that set up before but im using timescape as my homescreen now so was hoping id be able to just reorder the entire list of applications so the ones i want are close to hand.
done
its ok i figured it out...if u hold it down for ages it wil let u move each app...
How do I reorder the menu?
I want to move some apps to the top of the application list (NOT the home screen).
I'm pretty sure that you can't.. although No1 Fred might say different?

Wow, thought it would of been one of the first things they would of had aside from changing from list to grid.
I guess that's what the home screens are for though.. although if you use timescape as the home screen then you're a bit knackered!!.. (Does anyone find it useful to use Timescape as the home screen?? I know a few have tried it then reverted back to "normal" home screen..)..
Plus if you install a different app launcher (open home or Helix) then you can have more home screens.. and organise your apps into groups.. (I've got 5 screens with Games on one screen, internet stuff on another.. clock and calendar on the centre, then "System tools", then useful gadgets on the fifth..)

twitter plugin.

Ive done some looking around and only found a plugin that allows you to update your twitter status.
What I would like is a today screen plugin aka widget like the one you find on android platform.
It allows you to see tweets without fully accessing the app.
I would like to be able to just look at the today screen and see all my
all tweets that come through.
I think maybe spb mobile shell may have this function. but the images are not crisp like the htc sense.
Also how do winmo widgets work? From what I seen they just look like normal app icons am I wrong?
Hi Mate,
I dont think there's anything really like that for Winmo Sense as it doesn't work with widgets like the Android version of Sense does. Instead Sense on Winmo uses tabs, which can be really quickly selected and it does have a useful Twitter tab - you could move this next to your home tab so it's easy to view?
If you don't want to use Sense I know there's a plug in you can get for Windows Titanium Home (disable Sense and enable Windows default in settings tab > menu > All Settings > Home > Items) It's not really all too functional though as it only allows one tweet to be shown on your home screen, they can be scrolled though.
Here's the thread for it :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=511919
Hope it helps!

dell stage ui home widget

hi all
ive searched everywhere but could not find the answer to this problem. the home widget in the stage ui where the recent apps are also has a weather app in built (shining sun). it has been saying 'getting location' ever since i updated to froyo. it never gets my location (i dont want it to also). now is there a way to remove this part of the widget? i have deleted accuweather app from the system. i would like to remove this aspect of the widget also. please help
that would take an entire rewrite of the app. mine said getting location for a while too, dunno what makes it choose whether or not to work correctly. overall, im a little disappointed with the stage widgets. theres no config, and they dont seem well thought out. the home app only showing recent apps with no ability to place your favorite apps you want to launch quick on hand, whos brilliant idea was that? they would be a great idea if they didnt feel like they where done a bit half assed.
Cant agree more! Long press home button already does that.
A more useful widget will be to list most used/ favourite applications instead of to list recently used applciations.

Facebook Home

So I recently installed Facebook home on my S4, and it seemed pretty cool.
One thing I want to ask are the privacy concerns. I unchecked the option to use Home as a home screen and app launcher.
I did put Use Home as a lock screen.
How much Data can they collect from me if I do that? If I use Touchwiz to launch all my apps instead of using FB home to do it.
