does anyone know where i can find the info on this tweak that you can use on this phone so that you can extend the life of the xv6700 phone battery. it has something to do with changing the polling of the battery in the registry but i not sure where the thing you change in the registry is and if someone knows what I'm talking about can you send me a link to the info so that i can learn it again and copy it to my computer for future reference.

Hi.
I've searched the web and can't find a decent reference for the registry, nor anything about this, and it may be Hermes specific so I decided to ask here.
Does anyone know if there is a registry entry for "charging status" and/or "battery level" ?
For that matter... does anyone know where there is a decent guide to the registry?
Thanks in advance.
Peter.
Hi all,
I'm trying to develop an application to replace cprog and its uggly notification bubbles...
I've searched everywhere for technique on how to handle telephony and avoid cprog.exe bubbles...
I found lots and lots of posts about TAPI, setlineAppPriority, killing cprog.exe, replacing cprog.exe by a simple empty application...
But I didn't found a real answer for my needs.
I'm asking people who made applications like that (dialers...) if they can just help me with some clues (just the method they used, if they kill cprog, if they use lineSetAppPriority or anything else).
I've searched everywhere on the Internet but there's no documentation, neither any procedure to follow to do something like this.
Please help me, I'm stuck, really stuck and I know on this forum some people can help me.
Thanks in advance !
Best regards
Steeve
Hi,
in Start => Settings => Sounds&Notifications select the Notifications tab. Here you can enable/disable those bubbles for various events. Maybe, you succeed in avoiding phone notifications.
in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\ControlPanel\\Notifications\\etc... you'll find the according registry settings.
Hi all! I have a little problem on my Hermes, so I decided to ask for help on the best WM forum in the world. I was using MortScript for a few days, and somehow I managed to change some registry values regarding Comm Manager. You can see on the screenshots what happened, and I just want to know what exactly should I change in registry to get things back to normal(I want to see again "Phone" instead of "00000" etc.)? I'm new in PPC world, so I'm begging you to be very specific in explanations. By the way, I removed MortScript in the meanwhile, at least until I learn how to use it...
I solved the problem on my own, so this thread can be trashed.
Hi guys,
I flashed a new ROM few days back, and I think it eats my battery faster then the previous build. I would greatly appreciate someone to direct me to an battery logger application... I would need it only to log time since last charge and time spent charging, but I'd like to consult the times on the device self, preferably in an UI, not a text file. Does anything like that exist?
I tried searching, and found BattLog, but it logs to a text file, and it logs much more than I need...
<EDIT> I mean something like http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batmemtime.shtml but without the today screen plugin, and seperate UI. </EDIT>
Thnx in advance,
Lukas

Go to the thread I linked below as it has most of the known registry tweeks. I do not remember if there is a tweek for what you need but worth checking it out.
