guys, i'm a new user in using this device & i've got a problem connecting my device to my PC.. my device is using WM 5 while my PC is using windows XP SP 3.. i've installed ActiveSync 4.5 in order to connect my device to my pc.. however, when i plugged in the USB cable into my pc, there was an error saying that "Windows CE USB Device" needs to be installed.. i set the source folder of the driver to be installed in activesync folder installed in my pc but it didn't work.. as the result, the microsoft activesync can't connect my device to my pc.. i've tried to reinstall the software, restart the device, restart the pc but none of them worked.. so anyone can help?? thanks in advance..

Just got a new HTC HD2 today and I got a problem of synchronization between the HD2 and the PC with Windows 7 Ultimate. I've tried so many times but couldn't work. Please help me to solve this problem!
Hi, how far did you get? Are you trying to connect via Windows Mobile Device Centre? Are you failing to sync using a cable, via Bluetooth or both? Are you using 32bit or 64bit Windows?
Hi, i have a big problem when i connect my qtek to pc activesync 4.5 doesn't find the mobile, and pc doesnt recognize device on usb. please help me
i use windows xp sp3
If computer is coming up with 'device unrecognised' I usually found that a reboot (of both PC and Uni) was the only way to solve this. Once PC had not recognised the Uni it would not be persuaded!
Hi
I want to say that I am unable to install MAGLDR pc usb drivers. I got HTC HD2 in used condition and it had magldr 1.13 already installed on it and had android instead of windows. Problem is that when i try to install MAGLDR usb drivers on my pc it doesn't and whenever I connect my phone to pc even in MAGLDR recovery my pc doesn't recognize it. I am using Windows XP sp2. I installed windows XP again on my pc but it doesn't work.
I am unable to test any new rom and cant even go to its stock win 6.5 rom.
Please help me!

Try downloading activesync for XP. That should have all the drivers for the HD2.
I set my device drivers to search online and it 99% installs it as long as I have internet connection.

Thanx for the reply
I have already installed Activesync but my hd2 is running android so activesync does not recognize my phone because it does not have windows in it. I installed htc pc sync as well but even though nothing happened. I tried all the things read many posts regarding this but still having a problem.

If you can connect it to win7 pc, that should be ok to flash wp7.
maybe you can take a look at the tutorial how to flash a wp rom.
You have installed the Windows Mobile Device Center on your PC?
If the phone change from "serial" to "usb", the connection is working!

Also, just to add something here, if you are trying to connect the HD2 in bootloader mode to XP or lower, you need ActiveSync 4.5, if Vista or Higher (Maybe even Windows 8) you need the software stated above.

This not the point!
The HD2 is a Windows Phone and if you will connect the phone in bootloader mode with the PC, you need the Device Center or ActiveSync on your computer.
