hey! I have created a little widget which is a game named Morpion in french. You can play with in four modes: vs. Computer easy, medium or hard or two players.
hard mode is really hard, but if you beat it, I want to kow it!
You can download it by searching for MyMorpionWidget on the market.
I will post bar code as soon as possible.
I hope you will comment my job and enjoy yourself with it!

thought you'd like to know ive beaten the cpu 3 times on hard (i won the first and lost 2 times then i won 2 times/ same strategy)
I suppose it is not hard enought... You are a good gamer, if you give me your strategie, it won't be able anymore, but if nobody can win, does the game be still interesting?
You should be able to balance it. If people win to easily they will be bored, if they never win they will be frustrated. Either reaction will have the same result: don't play with the game.
I'll try it as soon as possible.
I understand, that's why, there is three mode of difficulty.
The real probleme is that this game is a kind limited...
I am thinking about a cheat mode. It will change a little the rules. Can't finish with a null. After one or two turn you will be able to erase circle or cross where you wan't to play. I'll test it and if it is cool, I'll publish it.
The problem with the game is indeed that it is too easy. With that I mean that optimal play can always be achieved by both CPU and human player. If the CPU does not make mistakes intentionally, it will always end in a draw (or CPU win). However, since the game is so simple, making mistakes intentionally is too obvious and makes the AI look stupid.
I propose that you change to another similar game that is not that easy to beat. I assume you are French, so you might know "puissance quatre" (connect four). If you can get it to fit into the dimensions of the widget, that would be a much better choice.
Anyway, good work, keep it up

It is the memory requirements for this application that has forced the company to discontinue any new versions/updates and provide the last one for free without any support.
They stated "at this point in time WM devices can't handle the next level we want to take our software. So instead of producing an application that does not meet our standards we have decided to pull it from the market"
Perhaps more of an excuse for the software developers not being able to work within the constraints of current PDA limits- who knows.
Right you are... eats up about 6mb of memory. But still I enjoy showing it off to my buddies. I'm not sure if this can be installed and run from a storage card. Will do tomorrow.
Hey, if you want your PDA to look like Windows, use Windows

Have you tried to create a webpage from the screen of the PDA??
I would actually make use of your TSC program had I a suitable device- unfortunately still stuck with JAM- no point of term. services via bluetooth!
Wouldn't mind having one of those up and coming mini-tablet style devices that are due to run the full blown version of XP though.
I'd like to have an OQO or something Unfortunately even the Universal's screen becomes too much work on the eyes after a while. Such a dilema: want a big (VGA) screen, want a small phone. Not gonna happen.
I don't think I'd like an OQO day to day, but nice in bed. But yes, VJFullscreenTSC could be used to write webpages from the Uni.
As I understand it, Experience is a flash app isn't it?

Please if any of the rocket scientists on this forum know of some way to change that 'simon says' looking wait animation for wm5 then let us know.
I cant stand the way MS makes their interfaces look like a frikkin Fisher Price gadget and each time that thing loads and makes me watch it cycle red, green, blue, yellow the more angered I get.

Never gave this much thought, but if it bothers you that much:
1) Get a coreres.dll.0409.mui file. (should be in any good ROM dump, or use TestWM5.exe by mamiac)
2) Change the bitmaps using ResourceHaker or any other res editor.
3)Check Asukal's posts for how to re-sign the file, then put it in windows directory.
Good luck.
This is the thread on changing for WM2003. The info might be helpful.

sorry, just gotta laugh at the prospect of having a hamster on my screen now...
though i'd take that over the spinning thing too...
I loved the little hamster!
Although a few frames of VirtualGirl might not go amiss!

lol, indeed sir, indeed.
so...anyone want to try this on WM5? I know it should work but still....
Very cute idea, I will try this my self soon with a custom graphics.
Just one problem I am not anxious to combat:
In WM5 system MUI's will not load without a signature. This means creating a certificate, provisioning device then signing DLL. I know it can be done, but still, a lot of extra hassle.
Exactly. I don't think it worked when I tried it way back when, but I don't think I signed it...

I was playing around with class based programming stuff, and the Diamond GSensor, and some physics (I'll pretend it's relevant to my A levels ) and wrote a little game to experiment...

What it is is a field of balls that are affected by gravity. If they collide, they should bounce off each other in a vaguely realistic way.
The number of balls can be adjusted via the up/down keys up to a maximum of 100 (the performance isn't great with that many though...)
The size of balls can be adjusted using the left/right buttons - there's no minimum or maximum size.
Hitting the centre button will pause everything.
You can click and drag the balls, and sometimes a "flick" makes them move, I need to fix that though.
Tilting the device will accelerate all the balls.
The colour and position of each ball is random.
Should work on Diamond, Raphael, Blackstone, Rhodium and Topaz.
This isn't meant to have a real reason, it's just something fun and physicsy!
Changelog:
0.7 - fixes a touch screen related bug...
0.6 - reduces sensor polling time making it more reliable, some graphical speed ups as well.
0.5 Initial public release
Looks good.. Let me try this..
This is a pretty fun and simple game! Would u consider open sourcing it?

I probably will when I've cleaned up the code and tried to make it faster...
New release fixes a few things...
Get it from the first post.
hey i was wondering if you still have the source code for this?
I'm looking for something to get of started on programming apps for my diamond and its sensors... and this seems to be a pretty cool place to start as i have a few ideas of how this could be improved..
Thanks,

Seems to have got lost *kicks to the top*
I've gotten this message about three times so far while playing Sims 3:
"Heap 2 out of memory" allocating 40 bytes but only 128 available (36 LFB). Increase icf setting . . ."
Anyone else get anything like that?
Ive gotten this warning several times i have been doin research on how to increase icf setting and it said it was sum advanced stuff and it sed it cood ruin your rom but it wasnt necessarily for the vibrant i think it was more of a computer thing idk but i want to increase memory so i can play more soon

I pretty much can't buy/move anything without this happening so it's rendered the game practically unplayable. Hopefully a dev here can tell us what we need to tweak.
I think the above poster is trying to promote a site, its not even fully up and running, and i see nothing as to a fix for anything on the site, unless someone else see's something I dont

The one thing i have done is every-time i buy something, or move something i save my game, for me it usually happens if it try to buy 3 things in a row, so i now buy, save and buy,save...and when it crashes at-least my last save has the prior thing i bought. Its not a great way to play, but its all i can figure out until someone smarter than me comes up with a fix.
I haven't event installed the game yet so sorry I am of no help. Though I still find it funny that they promote a game that does not work.

This is my first Windows phone experience but have tried to run the phone through WDRT which has nothing for the phone. With WPI I was able to switch the 950 to mass storage mode and make a backup. I tried flashing the phone with a similiar .ffu but the app crashes. Windows 7 reports the phone to have a total size of 16.1 gb while WPI says it has 29.1 gb. I'm unable to access many default apps or features like the store or setting and am unable to sign-in to my MS account. I can sign into my wifi though the phone keeps tipping me that I have no connection.
I am able to mess with a bunch of settings with the app zDebugMenu but really don't have much to go on as I haven't found anything related to the product code of this phone. I'm hoping I didn't buy an overpriced paper weight and can get win 10 to run on it. Thanks.
I been gone since about this post and still no responses? It can only be logically concluded then that you Masters of Microsoft phones are still in awe over this rarest of Lumia 950 unicorns. Understandable. Perhaps some of you are of a nefarious spirit and take dark pleasures in the thought of this one of a kind find just sitting there like an over engineered paper weight in the hands of a disparaged Microsoft Phone noob out of his element. Understandable. But for me it has lead to a a sense of desperation and being powerless to finally getting chores done having all but lost the skill to phone procrastination due to the Lumias absence from my daily routine. Not sure how long I can take mobile estranged life. I'm literally learning the long lost ancient ways of floor tile counting during bathroom breaks that our forefathers use to tell us of how hard life was in their days. Please someone for the sake of Billy Gatez tell me what i can do to get you to help me to help myself out of this unholy senseless analog hell. Or Steve Jobs will visit you in your sleep.
