Hello, can some one please help me with my Softbank X01HT pda.
The Windows Mobile 5 is in english. The problem is the keyboard maping layout. When typing with the keys on the keyboard the shift keys don't match what's on the screen. Like , ; ? etc .... but the letters are fine. Is there a fix for this. When I press shift ; I get something else.
Thanks for your time.
There was a thread open on this - just follow the recommendations :

I have succesfully paired a Nokia SU-8W Bluetooth keyboard with my HD2.
However the Nokia keyboard layout is Scandinavian (Finnish/Swedish) and unfortunately my HD2 does not recognize this.
Is there any possibility to also configure the HD2 settings to match this Scandinavian keyboard layout?
(P.S. I am using Fingerkeyboard 2.1 with touch screen Scandinavian layout, but does not in any way help with the Bluetooth keyboard layout problem)
No way so far, have to wait for a compatible version of Teksoft Blueinput.

Click to collapse
when you press a button, does it use the english layout? if so, you can remap them.
Yes, the keyboard works without any problem when typing. The only issue is with the wrong characters for some keys.
Do you have a link to a thread where the key mapping is explained?
Hi Honkapuro,
Please, tell me how did you do to pair your su-8w on windows mobile.
I can't do it on my Omnia II...
thanks
Hi,
I am using HTC Touch Pro 2 and I was wondering if anyone knew of any .cab taht would give me a smaller onscreen keyboard as the one I am using at the moments (standard default keyboard) is taking up half the screeen.
I would prefer if you could tell me of a keyboard smiliar to the one on XDA Orbit 2 or XDA Mantle.
Cheers.
Hey there.
I'm from Germany and thinking of importing the Venue Pro from the US. But I got a question to this Phone.
Is there any possibility to switch the QWERTY Layout to a QWERTZ Layout? It would be nice if "Z" appears on the Phone when pressing Y.
Greets from Bavaria!
signsy
nobody?
Hey,
is there nobody who knows if this is possible?
Cheers!
now it's impossible, couse it has only one (US) keyboard. And there is no access to a registry on this device to make a new keyboard layout
i just had my Venue Pro exchanged (warranty exchange). However it is US version, physical KB works like german KB... there must be a way to fix this.
this sucks...
Using the EM app (check here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16186171&postcount=1), you can enable the app to display additional options. There you find a keypad layout setting under "Service Center".
Have fun!
I have this Keysonic KSK-3202 BT mini keyboard, which I am trying to use with my ZTE Blade CM7.2-RC0, but since it is the QWERTZ version, and there is no option for changing the (hardware) keyboard layout in CM7, it acts like a QWERTY keyboard.
On my SE X10 mini pro I have the app "Mini ROM Manager", which is capable of changing the hardware keyboard layout, but that app is specifically for the SE X10 mini pro, and does not offer that functionality when run on the ZTE Blade.
So how can I change the hardware keyboard layout on the ZTE Blade?
