I don't agree, at all. HTC HD mini is much better than the Legend.

His main grouses seem to be on the colour saturation and the application compatibility. If the first problem bothers you, it will also be a problem on the Legend. Application compatibility with HVGA will be a problem if your essential applications don't work, but a suprising number do. Best to check with the developer or test on a Mini before buying if there's an application you can't live without.

Wow. I love how you pretend not to be the same person as the owner of MobileTechWorld. Exactly how many accounts do you have spamming XDA? Every second post is a link to your crappy website.

I wish it was not a fault because at this site i recognized that the HTC Touch HD has TV-Out. http://www.mobiletopsoft.com/devices/spec-htc-touch-hd.html. I´ve seen the TV Out function of the Touch pro and it was very exciting.
To my knowledge this piece of art will have video out...
And then why it is not specified in the HTC site?

Yeb I believe it will has a TV-out function...

Which does NOT have a TV-Out.
A lot of sites think it has, but the one and only official htc.com site says nothing about it.
Besides that, if you take a good look at some of the videos, you'll see that there is NO TV-Out Program in the Programs window. So unless someone proves me wrong, the HD is not gonna have TV-Out.

They do reply to mails, in my experience.
I also had the same response from HTC Europe :

What, is this country specific? I have been assured that there will be a TV out function on this device. Apparently the only catch is the cable won't be supplied in the box and will have to be bought seperatly.
who assured you? HTC?

One of my friends reviews theses devices and he has been able to have a play with a pre-release. So No the assurance wasn't from HTC.
I agree though, its one of those things we just won't know for sure until its in our hands!! Although surely its only a software issue and with the HTC pro having TV out it seems natural that the HD will have it as well?

No it won´t. Why should HTC let the TV Out Function away? The competitor, the IPhone 3G, has a TV Out Function. So if it is only a Software-issue to let the TV Out come true, HTC would have solved this problem. Its a Hardware Issue! Can anyone look what Grafix-chipsets are included in the Diamond and Pro to compare both devices?
i mentioned months ago for someone to crack open the devices and find exactly whats different inside, that way you can see if its hardware. Of course they might have intigrated it in to the main CPU but i doubt that, because if they had done then they may as well have sold the Diamond listed as having TV out, since it would cost no more and be another big plus point.
My guess is that the Pro will have a seperate chip to decode and output to compersite.
Not surprised
Hi guys!
I've read alot of reviews before buying HD and I was sure that it doesnt have this particular feature.Touch Pro has it and Hd dont its not that HTC forgot to put it there but its simple marketing strategy. HD has its own set of features which pro doesnt and vice versa. Hope my theory is right.
Cheers
Can anyone guide me and tell me if it's worth upgrading my Omnia to the HD?
I know the processor in the Omnia is faster but there some other things that make it a less atractive phone..
Any input from you guys would be appreciated

the moste importand thing you will notice is the interface. The touch Flow 3D is much more simple and effective than the Omnia widget based interface.
Yes i know but have inmind that i have also the Diamond
I plan to upgrade to the HD if I can sell my Omnia, the Omnia is a great device but the external stylus is just not working for me, even though they are trying to get us all to use thumbs and fingers the stylus is an important part of a PDA for me.....
I'd wait till the phone is actually out and you see what everyday users have to say about it.
I already sold my Omnia after having it for one week only
I know it was stupid of me of rushing to getting it. I should do my research better before i got it.
But I don't regret selling it, from all the reviews, videos I've seen I doubt that the HD will dissapoint me!
It would be worth upgrading just for the fact that the HD is supported by the great XDA forum!!

true. that it the main reason why i didnt get the omnia and decided to wait for the HD.
that is why i buy HTC, because it is supported by a colossal, active, and talented xda-community.
also the omnia has wqvga
to me, i didnt go for Omnia because its dimension is narrow, not good for reading emails or watching video. HTC HD has a more or less 16:9 ration like iPhone which makes sense.

My friend you sold your TP2 because the HD2 has the double amount of Ram and double the processor speed. Because it is an revolutionary phone.
It is good news because it indicates that HTC starts to support more and more their devices, and someday maybe you will get an update that will make very very happy. If that happens i don't think that will you complain then.
I write those things with all the respect of course! I didn't want to insult you!

You should tell HTC to stop doing that, so that they never make any updates to the HD2...
The best news in a long time!
That means there will finally be full landscape for Sense!
Can you please post a link to that update?

What if my company gives HD MINI and not Aria.
Besides, comments like "You should have bought an Android phone" can be missed in any forum. There's a question if it's possible to run Android on HD mini, not a question about what phone to buy.

Ye, it's really a joke.
Even P4550 has its AND rom.
Mini, with it's twin brother Aria being AND, does not have And roms.
