[SOLVED] No softkey bar on today - Windows Mobile
Hello again
I have another problem. Maybe anyone faced it When I turn off Sense in today settings and turn on titanium the softkey bar on today disappears On every other menu is ok, only on today it is missing:

Damn i dont remember very well right now but i faced the same problem as you.......was something related to Airkswitch or another taskmanager.

Well, I have ArkSwitch included so will try it right now

It looks like you replaced your com5 or com3 shellres.xxx.dll with a com2 version.
Not sure if this would be the problem, but are you missing HTCblack_taskbar.png in OEM\*Device*\*Language*\OperatorPkg

This. Check your taskbar theme files for com2 versions.
Most likely caused by those custom taskbar icons youre using

Ohh, sorry guys I forgot to put solution here. It is exactly what Mikenif wrote. I mess something out with taskbar. I just used new one and everything back to normal

hi, im looking for a way to change my start bar and soft keys bar to a black glossy xp bar. can anyone tell me how to do this. ive searched the forums and cant find anything, but I remember seeing pics of someone who had it. thanks

Using "Wisbar", it's possible to skin the start bars...
anyother way? i've used wisbar before and its the worst application ive ever used

well well look what i dug up when I typed glossy black bars in the "search engine".....perhaps it was "broken" when the first search was rendered....

Click to collapse I haven't seen such an application yet, but i think it's not impossible if someone edits a theme file for wm6. Like it's possible to change the top and bottom bars to simple plain black or green for wm7 themes so I think it's also possible to change them to anything you want to.
Misplaced scrolling arrows in long popup menus?
Don't know why but popup menus which are long enough to have scrolling arrows have these arrows' graphics very weird.
Top and bottom parts of the popup menu are wider than the middle, which looks quite ugly. Any ideas what may have caused this or even better, how to fix it?

I have the same problem. Appears when disabling sense and popup menu have long titles. This problem also have last dutty (Holy grail) custom 6.5 roms for hd.
same problem here! i also noticed that the problem is gone when selecting another theme (for example rock republic) in the today settings, but then the new scroll sliders are also gone. they are only working with the "htc black" choosen... i don't remember if this error also occurs with "stock conditions", with no tweaks applied. would be interessting if the problem is gone after a hard-reset. then we have to identify which tweak causes this...
anyone else with this problem?

I think there's a lot more than 4 people that have this phone and use this forum. What happens if you change to a different theme? Do you still have the same problem?
Screen position since flashing 1.48
Since flashing the new 1.48 wwe rom my home screen position is now about 3mm to high, which reveals the lock screen wallpaper underneath.
I`ve posted some pics to show it....

Which can be seen still showing in the bottom part of my home screen
In the image below you can see the Settings text is to high...
Its as if the manilla screen is to high position.
I have tried a hard reset but it comes back the same.
I can use the same background for both wallpapers but the text is still to high.
Can anybody shed some light on this problem
This also happens with the HTC bundled wallpapers...

You need to install version 1.0.1b, because the one you had was for newer builds of Windows Mobile and applies the so-called "position fix". These newer builds have different sizez of the top and bottom bars. Alternatively, you can leave the version you have but change the registry to cancel this position fix. See the Showcase thread to learn how to do it.

Or you can install 1.1.0 and edit the registry to: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\e-Natives Technology\Showcase] "SUITE_NewTaskbarSize" to 52. "SUITE_PositionFix_WinClasses" delete the value "Manila;RESCO_EXPLORER_CLASS", so this string will be empty. credits to barty22

Click to collapse If i'm right it all depends on the build you are using for example i have used a com3 build and its been there but when you use a com5 build (23569) it is not, i think if you want it you would have to use a different build i could be wrong but i wanted the slide down option but when enabled it in the registry it didn't do any thing but the reg edit posted by Laurentius26 is correct and in fact works on lower builds Hope this helps

You can also just make that icon invisible so that the clock shows normally, but you can press the area and access HTC Taskmanager.
