Try SBF?

If the sbf doesn't work, then you might have to go so far as manually revising the programming via qpst.
I don't have any experience with switching phones to metro but I switched a phone from sprint to Verizon and it required a lot of gpst editing in it so I would believe that this would have been done to your phone is well.

any links on how to do that?
When I first got my droid x is was on cricket, but I managed to get it back to verizon by flashing the sbf and calling verizon to switch the esn to my account.

Thank you for the info, so hard without asking a provider.
It turns I missed something : i thought I could use CDMA phones on GSM net by modding or flashing, but that does not seem to be possible .
So US phones with CDMA do not work at all in Europe .
Darn, all great phones live in the US : Samsung epic, Droid Incredible and Droid X.
sigh...
guess I'll wait for the Samsung to arrive here ...

help needed for epic flashed to boost

i tried searching but couldnt find the answer i was looking for. im currently using a htc tp2 on the boost plan. im in need of a upgrade as this phone has too many glitchs/ defects. im considering a samsung epic but what im wondering is if i can simply have boost activate the phone to my account or would i need to flash the phone?
also... i never had to touch the tp2 to get it on boost, i paid a programmer and he simply switch the esn over the phone.

Curious about Verizon Flash?

I was wondering if anyone has had a successful Verizon flash with the samsung intercept from Virgin Mobile? I live out in the sticks and we only have one CDMA giant that is accessible, the other is the current provider for me. I ask, only because my daughter could use the phone to keep in touch and it don't work out here as there is no sprint, virgin mobile, no boost, nothing like that.
I don't want to clone, due to legalities, I just want to upgrade her gusto2 piece of crap with my old phone is all, as we are strapped for money or i'd just buy her a new illusion or something.

If you "just" bought it: GO BACK to the shop where you bought it and ask for a new one (or tell them your problem)!

Non us HTC 10 to sprint network

Hi, I made a mistake and bought a new non US unlocked HTC 10. I tired to hook it up to sprint with no success. My ultimate goal would be to make it work normally on Sprint network.
I have done a lot of searching, and it seems like I can unlock the phone, flash sprint ruu, and flash radios to make it work on sprint?
Can I clone my original sprint HTC 10?
Or am I S.OL.?
I would appreciate any help and guidance with my mission, or if it's even possible to get this phone working.
Thanks!!
Did you ever go through with this? I am interested in upgrading to an HTC 10 as it has the form factor (what is with the trend toward giant phones?) and features that are otherwise unavailable in any of the current crop of unlocked Sprint compatible phones. It seems like the only new HTC 10 models still available are the unlocked version. I understand that this method works for Verizon, but I haven't yet seen confirmation on Sprint.
