Hi all just been looking at the new Dell android range and they seem to have an app on the home screen that displays a list of missed calls, emails, sms ??, calendar events ??
Just wondered if they was anything similar for the desire (or if it exisits with what I said ) as it would be great
I currently used the calendar widget with is good as well

Just having a look at MissedReminder as it looks like it may work similar but no widget
But now looking at executive assistant ....

are there others apps?
i use my magician since few weeks and i have to say that altought ppc s.o. could make many things, there are not good application to have simply phone functions..... : (
am i right?
my goal is a good screen locker, locking pda also after a missing call (standard lock wakes pda, screen and buttons are active);
good sms manager: big screen and big fonts when a sms arrives;
manage sms and mms sounds separately from other system sounds.
which app do u use for manage phone, sms and profiles?
can u advice me?

For profiles and different sounds I use PocketZenPhone.
The one and only good screen locker is ScreenGuard in my opinion.
For your SMS and MMS issues, I don't know a solution. Maybe there just is no because the phone API of Windows Mobile is not completely officially documented from what I've heard.

I have tried most of them outthere, but have to say that PocketMax PhoneAlarm is the best ( IMHO )...

i'll second this. For photo contacts pro v4, there's profile for your ringtones such as 'outdoor, meeting, silent & etc' apart from the individual ringtone assigned to your contacts and photo id.
do a search on aivanet or iphone-forum.org

does any modification or home screen exist which will display next 2 or 3 appointments from the calendar, along with last 3 emails and last missed calls at a glance?
I have something similar for my blackberry and was wondering if there was anything similar for android?

It's a home replacement app which do (for the moment) 2 things of what you want : calendar and missed calls on home screen. I don't think that you can see your last mails with this app.
I'm aware of http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=779822 but it's not exactly what I'm looking for.
I would prefer it to fit better with BattStatt & Tajm, meaning it would read for example like this:
ONE
UNREAD
SMS
and so on, just like Tajm & BattStatt do
Hey, been trying to find a widget that willet notify me of things like new msn talk messages, emails, phone calls, etc. Hoping to find 1 widget that will do it all. Maybe being able to add apps to monitor? I'd love to be able to run Zeam etc in fullscreen and not miss the notification bar for any reason.

I bought the japanese arc and installed lt15a rom. Timescape doesn't seem to log all events call and messages. If I add the timescape widget for messages it just shows the text messages and not the missed calls. If I try to add the missed call timescape widget it says the screen is full. Why doesn't the timescape main screen show all events calls, messages, and emails.
When u click on timescape widget then click timescape that shows everything and I reckon there is automatic way for it to refresh for you just dont have timescape on as I removed it

The timescape doesn't log all events like messages, calls, and emails. There is 3 separate widgets for each one.
