32A rom on 1.2 - myTouch 3G, Magic General

Got my phone all set up and flying with a CM port, but I would lvoe to get a 2.1 rom running on my phone. My question is I notice I need to flash the stock 1.2 kernel over a 32A rom, where can I get a download for the stock kernel?

Wifi tether 32A

Hey everyone,
I have a 32A HTC Magic,
I'm looking to install wifi tether on it
i have it rooted
installed the software from:

Will wifi tether work on it?

in the wiki it said that 32A is not supported
but on the other hand, i understand that the kernel was reversed, so does it contain the support needed for wifi tether to work?

How do i check if it has the correct kernel version?
and if it dosnt, how do i update it?

That ROM does not have the new kernel but i recommend you to wait until Cyanogen have released an updated version of his build to install it more easier..
Otherwise, flash your device with the new kernel from this treadh, works like a charm om my Swedish HTC Magic 32A.

Well i flashed my phone to cyanogen and it did not work properly. So now when i did the recovery i got android 1.6 back but the kernal still remained the same. Can somebody please upload the default mytouch 3g 1st gen kernel. Thanks in advance

Your core-Kernel should be a 2.2 CEE ROM (Froyo), if you have flashed the ROM in the usual way.

im on stock for now..i wanna install white rabbit so can i install d gingerbread kernel directly thru custom recovery then install white rabbit through normal procedure?
